u av a point, but don't be hasty to hinge performance on price ( i bought IBTC when it was N1500 way back). if i bought a unit of IBTC @ 5K and its now 10k over a period of 2 years and also purchase a unit of ARM fund @ N100 and its now N290 over the same period, going by the rate of return , the ARM fund actually yielded more than the IBTC fund.

Also on the story behind GtBank and ARM, ARM was a subsidiary of GTB until there was a management buy out like 2 years ago, but it has nothing to do with the relationship btwn both companies as ARM still holds is fund in GTB's account.

Erm i'd like to know the people that owns/control the PDP, everyone is shouting marginalisation like say na the new craze  

I understand that, what i meant was actually the part where you produce new products from the old ones.That part where you collected and sort it is quite straightforward and relatively cheap considering labour cost.

The manufacturing bit is the problem. huge amount of money can be made from selling the sorted materials to companies or lg govt if there are arrangements for that.

New PDP zoning formula out on Thursday

The Peoples Democratic Party may on Thursday make its new zoning formula public.

By the formula, the North-Central has been positioned to produce the President of the Senate while the South-West will produce the National Chairman of the party.

The South-East is expected to produce the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

A source, who made this known to our correspondent in Abuja on Sunday, said the national caucus of the party would ratify the formula at its next meeting at the Presidential Villa on Thursday.

The strategy for the sharing of party and public offices in the country is in line with the new power shift policy of the PDP, which will come into effect on May 29.

Before the caucus meeting, the National Executive Committee of the PDP will meet on Tuesday at its national secretariat in Abuja over the same matter.

The National Chairman of the party, Dr. Ahmadu Ali, announced the planned meetings at the end of a two-day policy retreat for the PDP‘s newly-elected lawmakers on Saturday.

Although Ali did not disclose the agenda of the meeting, our source said it would look into the new power-sharing strategy and work out appropriate responses to the legal challenges against some candidates of the party in the April general election.

A reliable Presidency source said that President Olusegun Obasanjo, the President-elect, Alhaji Umaru Yar‘Adua, and three other party leaders had been served copies of the zoning formula.

The issue of zoning has in the last few weeks left the hierarchy of the party in a dilemma.

By the formula that produced the current political office-holders, the South-West produced the President while the North-East produced the Vice-President.

The party‘s National Chairman is from the North-Central while the President of the Senate is from the South-East. His deputy is from the North-Central.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives is from the North-West while the Deputy Speaker is from the South-South.
