How quickly we forget that Kwankwaso is running for president. |
yemmight:You are actually the unintelligent one here. Either you are genuinely ignorant of the fact that medical personnel work shifts and all of them are never at work at the same time or you're just so unintelligent that you thought your unintelligent rebuttal made any sense. |
seunmsg:Ahmed Datti is 100 times better than Shettima the terrorist sympathizer. |
She is a politician not a pastor. Don't confuse both. Almost every Nigerian politician, stirs up ethno-religious sentiments as a way to deceive the masses. The Igbo's have been shown love by you, and does that mean they should sell their agency to you. So anyone who disagrees with you is ungrateful. At the end of the day, her statement achieves one purpose. Make Yoruba's to think it us vs Igbo's. |
PNomsule:Those textbook analysis have been debated and reviewed over centuries. Anything your brain conjures up as a way to escape the inflation that increasing money in circulation brings has long been debated and refuted with practical examples. So don't deride the textbook analysis |
The police will turn this into a business enterprise. Even if your arrest is illegitimate, they will threaten you with putting your name in the database and intimidate you into parting with a huge sum of money for them not to do it. |
This was how PDP governors supposedly stood behind Jonathan publicly but worked for Buhari to win secretly, in 2015. Case study was Bagangida Aliyu of Niger state. And unfortunately for him, that rendered his political career moribund. Jonathan is not a power hungry man, if these men were open about their choice rather than deceive him and sabotage him. Jonathan would not have contested that election, he would have jejely went back to Otueke. I expect the SE governors and politicians irrespective of their political leanings to play that same card. |
Till date I fantasize about being stranded on an Island and having to find food and shelter while plotting for how I'll be rescued thanks to this book. Add Coral Island, King Solomon's Mine, Treasure Island (15 Men after a dead man's chest, yo ho ho and a bottle of rum) and you have my perfect recipe of books as a child. Sadly, the reading culture is growing dead. Kids would rather press phone, play games, watch movies and reality shows that don't impact on their lives any way than read books. |
With Nigeria's corruption profile, no creditor would agree to this proposal. About half, if not more of our borrowing is stolen and laundered but we keep borrowing. With Nigeria's unique position we should have been a creditor but here we are still borrowing up and down. |
Irupetepete:Good, you're good to go then. God will help you as you commit to it. |
urbobo20:Can you categorically prove without an iota of doubt that she is a witch? That's where the problem lies. There is no "witchcraftometer" to measure someone's witchiness. Even if she confessed while being flogged, it cannot be admissible because research has shown that forced confessions are mostly fabricated by the person to escape the torture they are in. So then, the first question is "who is a witch?". Most people practice witchcraft without any supposed "witch-like" activities. To be able to torture another human being like this without showing pity, or kill someone else like you see in most mob killing. You need to be a witch to do those. Then secondly, "how do we tell who is a witch?". The bible says "by their fruits..." That verse is a universal truth. Want to know who a person is, check what they do, how they live, and what they manifest outwardly. |
We have very few meteorological stations and government can't build them all, the bill highlighted. But now the bill will introduce another issue of licensing. Probably each station may have to pay fees to the tune of several millions to have a license to operate. Well talk about shooting yourself in the foot. My take, Nigeria is blessed with such good climate and weather conditions such that the only significant natural disaster that affects us is flooding and most of that is due to our very poor irrigation systems across the cities. For instance a city like Lagos that at this point should have a very established irrigation system is still centuries behind. Guess what, other cities will be worse. |
safarigirl:Now here (bolded text) is an advice, and a good one at that. You're right, he may need practical insight and that will position him for the best course of action to take moving forward. Well done. |
safarigirl:You didn't actually give the guy any actionable advice or recommendations. So all you came is to berate men, well your comment is useless to him. |
Irupetepete:So she is okay with giving you full custody and all you want is tips on how to raise two children aged 6 and 4 years. Well for starters those kids are still very young and you will almost have to do everything for them like bath them, even feed them sometimes, and dress them ready for school. A kids life on weekdays is basically wake, bath, eat, dress up, go to school, come back from school, eat lunch (if they don't do so at school), do homework, eat dinner, bath, go to sleep. Now that's the basic routine. So things like who picks the kids from school, and who they stay with during this period before you return from work are things you need to work out. If you are energetic and committed, you can handle the rest. A good recommendation would be to employ a teacher/nanny that will give them home lessons at your house after school. And you'll also work at closing earlier than your usual time from your business. It is not going to be rosy, but it is a good thing to do considering the picture you painted about where they stay with their mother. |
Irupetepete:So you guys have shared custody according to this post? Tell us about the custody arrangement. |
They are preparing the election rigging squad. |
Lakside1955:Stop lying like fish. ![]() |
Buhari wanted to pick his successor, but the APC governors did him a coup. Now he wants to give us a free and fair election. It is sad that we are still at the stage where a free and fair election is a promise and not defacto. |
Obinoscopy:There is cutting someone some slack, then there is outright going out of your way to make sense and justify what someone says or does. You are obviously doing the latter. And you didn't need to give us a disclaimer about your support of Tinubu cos we can see through that. Only now you've clearly made yourself a liar. |
Very powerful piece. And the stark truth. |
This is what some will call a "SIMP" test. |
All those lamenting about 8 minutes being added and calling the referee biased don't understand anything about officiating. Not referee will end the match when the other team is making a dangerous attack especially when that goal will affect the outcome of the game. So about the time the referee should have ended the match, there was a dangerous attack by Liverpool, and this eventually led to a corner at about 6 mins. It was that corner that produced the goal at 8 mins. |
This is what some people aspire to turn Nigeria into. A country where you get decades of imprisonment for a twitter post. But their plan will fail. |
obembet:Are you apolitical or just don't care for this election? |
obembet:Who are you supporting though? I'm curious. |
So cars ahead of him made u-turn because they learnt there were kidnappers ahead. And while making his own turn he busted his car. I will still blame it on insecurity. Even though he didn't see the kidnappers. Can anyone here truly say with certainty that there were no kidnappers ahead. And that if they were on that road, they will continue driving ahead despite that every other car was making a u-turn and driving away as quickly as they could? |
Jonathan is an Elder statesman and irrespective of who wins next year he will still remain relevant. Of course you don't expect him to refuse meeting with someone who wants to meet him moreso someone who has a potential to be Nigeria's next president. But does that mean he endorses Tinubu, and will vote for him? Far, from it. |
Biglittlelois:Didn't you know many guys just set their gender as female on here? |
It won't stop Bournemouth from collecting from Tottenham when the two play. |
He was lucky. He would have lost his better country passport and start to tell stories on top the matter over 5-10 mins of pleasure. But was the lady going to sell passport of some person. I guess people travel with other people's passports. But she left his Nigerian passport for him and stole the other one. ![]() |
