I tried going into exportation of these woods few years ago with my roofer Nnamdi. Drying naturally is the best. I'll share pictures of some sites near me where people are exporting these woods to china in 20 and 40ft containers.

Natural drying ke....watched atleast 10 videos of lumber processing...they are mostly using kiln drying processing. Watch from 2:40

Let me talk Generally on burglar bars
I’m not using this to support any side.
As I was thought in sch as building tech student then which I’m also putting into practice at site.

Case of burglar bars
Let assumed your block opening is 1200*1200
You need to reduce 25mm from all four sides of the WALL OPENINGS.( this is for plastering gauge)

Then you will also consider 15mm reductions from all 4 sides agains ( for alignment)

Now you will left with 25+15mm =40mm
You final burglar size to be delivered to the site will be 1160mm * 1160mm.

This also applicable to door.

I believe this was michlins's intension but alumaco guy misjudged it due to poor comprehension and understanding...

My oga I am not exactly sure as of today...I Sent someone to comb through lagos to find and compare the prices.....they quoted 7- 8M depending on spec/composition(axles and bucket size)without bargaining this was October 2020....I saw two in groningen which I went to see....prices with shipping and clearing would save me just under a 1m say 700k to naija prices....plan under ice at the moment.....I.will soon get it..

More learning oga money...the biggest problem is those companies selling it to you...are the guages complete?? Is 0,35 # 0,35 or less or ...too light for you ok...reasons to acquire from known brands with top notch products and quality �

Metcoppo has a design flaw even for the big companies...the curruggators bounce up and down then cut....biggest issue is handling...easier to break due to poor lifting techniques ....they are good looking but requires extra cautious handling...

We agreed price...he delivered in less than 24hrs...my roof was completed within 48hrs...I have never met an honest business man in my life like him...this roof is best in the world...
I choose a bush green sheets..

Based on my findings green Africa is trying to lease some ATR72 turbo props from GTLK leasing . Green Africa signed some sort of MOU with Airbus with details not revealed but firm orders usually involve 25% down payment and a contractual agreement between both parties.
I suspect some American investor is trying to invest in the Nigerian aviation market and is financing green Africa as an SPV for that purpose. This will increase capacity in the industry but arrangements like this still lead to huge capital flight unlike a Nigerian based airline where the all the investments are home based. With time we will see how things roll out.

Our media somehow convinced the nation to expect 50 A220s for green africa when an order has not been made. May be an order will be made in the future but as at today there is no A220 order from green africa.

You cannot rule them out entirely....it may come from a leasing company....this chart has 5 orders from undisclosed african airline, another from undisclosed customer....anyways all the best to them...hope they succeed and treat us well not just cash out ...

1200 x 1200 @48,500 (this is for all the big windows)
600 x700 @ 22,500 (bathroom window)
It also include installation price . Hope this is a fair price
PS: he wants to use 4mm Glass (or something like that)
Also , Is there a major disadvantage of using 0.45mm aluminum roofing sheet (Long span) over the 0.55mm (I am looking at cutting some cost so i want to weigh the option )

There is absolutely no disadvantage of using 0,45 as against 0,55 ...only difference is guage...0,55 is 10mm thicker....not sure where your building is located...but ensure you get the long span from a known and good company so as to be sure of you paid for is what would be delivered .
