I really have to wonder why, at this point at least, the security agents deemed it wise to reveal his state of origin (as alleged). Were they not aware of the needless distraction it will cause? I would have thought that since most people would automatically believed the guy to be of Northern heritage, the agencies should have played along. |
For their patented insolence, sexual incontinence, refusal to subject themselves to the authority of anyone not a doctor(even if he's their employer!) , inordinate pride, and the general but unfounded belief that they're God's greatest gift to mankind, Nigerian doctors, surely must take the crown as the most reviled, most detested in the world. How can one even begin to defend the fiendishly callous act of abandoning critically ill patient just to partake in a strike? The action of Fashiola must be commended which, it is hoped, will be replicted in other states where doctors may be tempted to tow the line of their frustrated Lagos counterparts. |
Even the more advanced countries still have occasional problems with internet banking so there is nowhere you can get a guaranteeed 100% security. I do believe the risks outweigh the benefit, as long as you take all the precautions other posters have listed: avoid questionable websites, use only ONE personal system with a fully updated PAID (not free) antivirus to access your online acc, NEVER on a cybercafe or shared computer, and so on. |
Take lots of milk & eggs. Avoid excessively fatty food. You could also consider getting wate-on emulsion. |
Pegeout ke? That brand of car is a total disaster. Almost everyone i know of who used one complained bitterly about its unending issues. Its second value is non existent. On this auto board its common to see 2001 406 going 4 as low as 400k (most likely due to its issues and d owner cant wait to get rid of it). You can google search if u doubt. |
Kuulnomsy: And this poo made front pageso did your idiocy :-P |
I think its about 6500 for starcom internet service. |
Bluff? Empty propaganda? Whatever the case, if i have friends in media houses, i'll advise them exercise caution at least 4 the next few weeks. The signs are pretty ominous. |
Any public holday? |
Is there public holiday today? |
Hmmm interesting. Do you guys really think the bomb blast will be enough to deflect attention from the oil subsidy probe and the uproar it generated? Perhaps not just this singular attack, but i do recall BH promising further attacks against media houses. Well, lets see. . . |
The article is complete trash as far as i'm concerned. Not holding brief for Dangote, but when exactly did he become the government? The writer is just a soup grapes attention seeker. |
@OP, get a job. . .or a LIFE. Either will likely cure your addiction. |
Who gives three phks if he's fair or not? |
Johndoe100: Why do all these misguided fools aka haters always need to find fault when there is none? You took an unconfirmed rumour and have built a house of lies around it. Spare us your hate you vile thing.were you the one holding the banner in that picture? |
The fact that the dude impersonated (almost successfully) a personality of such imposing intellect as Rueben abati clearly shows guy is no push over. only wish the courts would be this quick in dispensing justice when it gets to the bigger cases. |
dabigwalls: Like seriously!!!? Beating cures stammering?absolutely not! If anything, it worsens it. Beating, making mockery of, or ridiculing the person have never been shown to be effective in curtailing stammering. You'll notice if the stammerer is in a calm and relaxed atmosphere where no one appears to notice the stammering, he/she is usually able to speak normally. |
bennyraz: Have anyone noticed that when stammerers sing, they don't stammer? They sing smoothly.not just singing, but crying, laughing, screaming. . .and moaning ;-) problem usually arises when the stammerer has to make articulated speech, especially words beginning with the so called 'plosives,' p, b, m; those beginning with k; and certain c words. Almost all of us stammer when emotionally charged, eg very angry or very frightened, but for the stammerer it may be so severe that he/she may find it almost impossible to utter a single word. Hence the best remedy is for the stammerer to keep calm as much as possible, and to talk slowly. |
^ i could have sworn you just described the politicss section. |
Beyond a doubt its male medical doctors, especially the young ones. I happen to know quite a number of them so i know what i'm saying. They actually boast among themselves about theier latest catch, usually those sexy nurses with all curves. . . |

lindonjeff: A man who cn,t wait 4 u, is definitely nt urs, so luk carefully bf u leap.u care to share your experience? ;-) |
chiteny: When they loot, they keep in Switzerland. When sick,DAMN!! This should be published in our national dailies. |
Fhemmmy: I guess that is all you wanna hear . . . I beg no wish am dead oh, Na somebody Papa and Husband ohso all the thousands of Nigerian dying in our decaying hospitals are not somebody's 'Papa and husband,' abi? I do not by any means condone the calls for his death, my faith forbids it, but having seen truely pathetic cases esp in our state hospitals where you patients dying from something as ridiculously flimsy as lack of cotton wool, one certainly can understand the anger some of those posters must be feeling. Take a trip to the general hospital located in his hometown, otukpo, you weep at what you'll see. |
^^ the probook is about N10k higher than the Hp630 |
Nice review by op. I'm thinking of getting a new laptop myself and was considering the popular Hp 630, that is, b4 i saw ur review. Just wondering, Other than the fingerprint thingy are there any other advantages of the probook over the 630? I'm asking because of the price difference: |
So? |
Furthermore the attempt by beaf to shift the blame to the states and LGs only ends up shooting FG on the foot. If you take away oil, how much does even the FG itself contribute? Is it not a case of chopping, chopping, chopping? Personally i believe ALL the tiers, fed, state and LG have equally contributed to the present sorry state. |
Nice thread with beautiful inputs. And i agree almost entirely with the points ekt-bear has raised, especially on the issue of power. Power generation especially for medium/large scale production is such a horribly capital intensive venture that i struggle to see how one can make it without govt support. Make no mistake about it: our major hindrance to industrialization is POWER, POWER, POWER. |
One can even get a baby boy (yr 2000) for that price. @op not our intention to spoil ur market, but your price is clearly outrageous. |
