Hmmm, the day when naija businessmen start to value their integrity. . . |

Jojo Armani: Am not an ijaw man but i know very well that ijaw people has been paying high in fuel price even wen OBJ is president. Reason cus their land is covers wit river, so means of transporting petrol is high there. Even in so some villages in other states dat has bad roads and no fillin station dat buy from black market buy at high price too. Is not because they did not support subsidy protest, they were even buying 160 to 200 b4 the subsidy removal. Those people re really suffering. Riverine areas Na wa o o o. Everything is high except Fish and cryfish.fine. Your point is taken. But the argument here is that if the former price of N65 was retained, do you think the bayelsans would be paying as high as the 300/litre as is now alleged? One would have expected that they, knowing fully well what impact a price increase would have on them would be more vociferous, more than any other group as a matter of fact, in their opposition to the subsidy removal.. However for reasons best known to them, which some have justifyably attributed to noting other than blind support 4 their 'son', they chose to abstain from the protest. |
nuclearboy: ^ dull is an understatement for this waste of skin!abeg help me tell them. |
Btw it's KADARKO, not gadarko. Mods shd pls correct the title & h/page |
most of those settlements already have their well armed vigilante groups, so i must say i will be suprised if those attackers are able to carry out their acts without a stiff opposition. |
Seun has changed the mobile version again. This new one doesn't fit the screen, you have to keep scrolling left and right to c d whole thing |
homerac7: @ OP,Op is clearly on some cheap weed. The mods will do well to modify the title. |
@OP, simple courtesy demands that you state the source of the article |
Lets face it, our dear GEJ, notorious for his 'foot-in-mouth moments' has done it again. He obviously was not aware that a seemingly innocuous commendation (solicitation??) of what is now frantically being labelled CSR would degenerate into the furor it has become. Impeachment? Haba, thats too far imo. btw do we really believe the PDP dominated house is going to heed the call for his impechment? Its however instructive to note this incident has clearly rattled the presidency and perhaps would compel it to exercise better discretion in future. But with our dear GEJ. . . |
Where is the link to d original prediction? |
Wooooo! D Kind of stuff horror movies are made of. |
The sheets are optically marked by computer which i believe only takes a few seconds/ paper. However when one considers the time taken to transport the scripts from the various exam venues to the jamb centres where such machines are available, then grading, compiling and finally uploading on the servers, it becomes easy to see why some people may express some skeptism. |
purefella: Stop voting PDP!lol! This will be a good start. But lets face it, our present problems are far more complex than what a simple party change can correct. Like i said in my previous post, it has to do with the very system of govt we are practising. It's too expensive, too structurally deficient, too corruption prone, too much centre power. . .i could go on and on. |
engineerd: Lets all be honest. Nigeria is what it is today because of the people that inhabit it.actually because of the people who ruled it. |
When we stop deceiving ourselves that our particular brand of democracy will provide the much needed dividends. I'm not by any means advocating a miltary takeover. We just have to come up with something else; a less corruption prone system of govt. |
Who gives a fawk about who or what senate summons? They have lost every ounce of credibility as far as i'm concerned. |
bennyraz: banex is good. He should try Emab plaza too. You will get a mixture of phones & computer/laptop/accessories there. All brown new. But at zone3. You get mostly computers there including fair ly used ones. I dont trust those guys at zone3.i feel you. Computer parts, accessories, software can be obtained from zone 3. However, if looking for a brand new laptop i won't advise going there. |
Although i have to admit i always treated the charges against Akingbola with a fair dose of skepticism, what with the Saraki-lamidö-alabi connection which was never fully addressed. |
Not encouraging at all. |
I remember reading about him in ovation magazine. What i say there was mind boggling |
Lol! That is one pissed judge. But come to think of it, if not one, not two, not three, but FIVE bleeping SANs could be reprimanded like law school dropouts for "lack of diligent prosecution'', then it says a lot about the state of legal practise in the country. |
Nwa_Nimo: You think they are stupid . . . . . . has Nigeria ever heard of reserves.you make it sound like there's a conspiracy or something. I personally don't believe so. I see it as purely economic. Like someone said environmental groups in the US wield considerable leverage and can, at the moment anyway, effectively halt any attempt at exploration. The current oil prices, which are still not too bad, and the recent Bp spill gives the group their power. Eventually, however, the price of oil will become so high that the incentive for further exploration will be too irresistable that even the pressure groups will not be able to influence. T |
Martini101: Nollywood don dey copy Ghollywood! I do watch either of them only when am wit my friends or alone. D last time i watched Ghanian movie wit my mum, when they started their indecency stuff, i just held my phone to my ear as if i was answering call straight to my room and neva came back. LolROTFL!! :-D |
publisher: In 2009,while still working in a private financial institution,i launched my own magazine. Invested over N2m on the project, hired some old classmates to run it for me...well as expected, they ran it aground. I even lost my rented office space ,cos the landlady went psychotic on rents.intriguing story. I've often wondered about the unusual accents of d characters in those adverts.. |
So far so good, i think its been pretty good. @OP, a trader with a DAILY turnover of over 150k cannot be, in my view, deemed 'petty'. He/she should be able to invest in equipment to facilitate the cashless transactions. |
uceee: Seriously, Jamb did not mark the scripts this year. They just shared scores to people. Just watch the trend: The maximum range (difference between highest and lowest scores in the subjects you took) for the results is 10. Then most people have the same scores in two subjects. Is that realistic? Mind you, I work in a cyber cafe, so I have seen a lot of results.interesting |
I actually predicted that based on the way the site was clearing straining to cope with d load of request that was going to go down soon. I only didn't expect it to be so so soon. Luckily i was able to check the results of some of folks b4 it went down at about 3pm |
Say he does make the list, will that bring the price of fuel back to N65? |
If by slut you mean a lady who has offered her body in exchange for sex in the past, and not necessarily those that line the streets of Allen avenue, I don't think its such a big deal. |
Make una free the pretty babe abeg. Even if the story is true, unless one can indeed prove that she used her position to give the dude unfair leverage, i don't think her personal life should be anyone's business. |
