With reference to this thread I made when I knewly moved to Canada.

I have some gist for you. Eight months after I moved to Canada I was able to taste pussy, thanks to a beautiful Uganda lady.

Lemme tell you, when I was in Nigeria, I used to hear that oyibo dey rush black men. When I got here I realised it was all fallacies and lies. Oyibo women doesn't give a fvck about black men except you are a celebrity, rich athletic or sports personality or one rich popular dude.

The same pussy I change every week in Nigeria was what took me Eight months to see here.

There's money here once you are working and there are Jobs everywhere in Canada, but working without pussy sometimes is not really cool.

Some of them can be tempting, while I was waiting for bus at a bus stop, two girls were dancing and shaking yansh for me, not that they like or want you, but they just wanna do it. Just ignore them and swallow saliva, you will be alright
This one you said you tasted pussy, what does it mean, did you eat it?

Romance › Re: The Woman I Took Advantage Of Blessed Me by Dshocker(m): 7:17pm On Mar 15, 2023
MaDaRa01:
Two days ago i went to a woman's shop to buy something and i took advantage of the little kid she left in the shop by paying way less than what i bought.

Thanks to the good people of nairaland with their good advice. I deciding to go clean to the woman and telling her the whole truth without hiding anything.

I went back yesterday to the woman and told her the truth, how i took advantage of the kid by paying #50 for the rice worth #1k and how i came back to pay the balance after i realize my wrong.

At first, i thought she was going to get angry at him. Instead she asked me if i have bible app on my phone which i affirmed. She quoted a verse to me and talked to me on confession of sin and forgiveness.
Seriously, since when i dey go church, no pastor sermon touched me like the little talk the woman gave me. Till now i'm still thinking about it.

I thanked her, promised never to do that again, and as i was going she told me to wait. She later gave me some rice, beans and other provision that i should take it for free and anytime i am hard on cash, i could come to her shop and get anything and pay her whenever i receive salary or when i have cash with me.

I said all the whole "Thank you, God bless you".

It was not the foodstuff that blessed my soul, but how she handled the situatiom.

May God continue to bless the woman
You did the right thing and may God bless you...
Car Talk › Re: Which Model Of Mercedes Can I Buy For 2.5M by Dshocker(m): 6:06pm On Mar 15, 2023
cbrass:
Hello, I have this craze for Benz cars, but I am on a very lean budget.
So which model can I get for N2,5M or worse case 3M?
Thanks
Habaaaa.....

N2.5m will only get you a good 2007 Toyota Corolla, all because you can't afford the direct tokunbo, which goes from N3.4m-N3.9m

You are yet to get a quality Japanese car for N2.5m, so why go for Mercedes Benz you can't maintain?

Mercedes cars consumes more fuel and neither are the parts cheaper.

But if you insist and feel you must belong in the society and be called a Benz gang owner, then be looking at a Nigerian used 2002 ML350.

I will be needing (please) the help of the gurus here to choose the best ride for that price (1.8m) at most ….

My options
A clean Toyota Camry (2004 ——)
A clean Honda civic (2006 ——-)
And the cleanest and best cars available fr my price range
(By clean I mean body , interior ,gear and engine)

I have been a nairalander for a couple of years and I know that if there is a place I can get help or get scammed then it’s here on nairaland but then so also anywhere else has its + / -
N1.8m won't get you a "clean" car.

From N2.5m you can get a clean 2007 Toyota Corolla

Insultme:
This is a true life story and it's really a long epistle, so take your time to read it. Insults and advice are welcomed as well.

There is this girl we're dating in Nigeria, which I intend to Marry though eventually. It started that I got my student visa in Nov 2021, so instead of me coming alone and leaving her alone back home, I decided to get Married to her same Nov 2021 and same year I did my house warming, that was in December. So she moved in to my house and I traveled for my Masters in January 2022.

So I came in alone to put everything in place, renting apartment and starting my studies. It was really an heculeous task, my eyes see shege as I was unable to pass through verification / affordability check, so I had to offer 6 month upfront before I was later considered. By end of January, she started with she is feeling lonely and can't stay alone in the house, so I started processing her visa February and I went back to Nigeria during Easter to bring her myself, just to avoid unnecessary wàhálà at the POE.
You can imagine, just within a space of 1yr she came, she is exhibiting such traits.

From on set she doesn't love you and has been with you all for your money.

Broooo pet her, bring her back to naija, seize her papers and burn it.

I just got fired from my job yesterday and I have no idea why, just out of the blue.

Any advice to help with this. I cried on my drive home because I really enjoyed working there and the pay was good. I guess that's what I get for trying to ever make something of myself.

I try to make an honest living as a young man trying to enter the workforce and this is what happens.
Is it time to become an unemployed once again?

I feel bleeped. Life is bleeped. I just wanted a nice house, a wife and a little savings I'm the bank. Guess that's not happening

Travel › Re: How I Missed My First Ever Flight Going From Denver To Washington DC (Pictures) by Dshocker(m): 12:26pm On Mar 15, 2023
Schrodinger2:
Although, I've occasionally heard people talk about how they once missed thier flights, I never paid great attention as to what follows next. The last occurrence a PhD friend in Minnesota told me was when he missed his US-bound British Airways flight from the UK last summer. He was eventually excited when placed on another BA flight for free after much delay albeit there was a change in his destination (He arrived Utah instead of Minneapolis).

Today, I was to depart Denver at 6:45am for Washington DC on a Frontier Airlines, a trip I've planned and prepared for, for weeks. Arrived very early at DEN airport around 3:45am, completed my check-ins and got my boarding pass by past 4am and was waiting for 6am when boarding would commence. I needed to perform morning prayers and was lucky to find an Interfaith Chapel in the airport. I went inside the chapel around 5am and came out about few minutes past 6am.

It was at this moment I became seemly apprehensive, with the realization that I had limited time to join the boarding that ends at 6:20am. The thought that I still had to pass through the slow Immigration check point for screening even confirmed by worst fears.

I hurriedly went through the screening, and joined a 2 minutes tram ride that would take me to my boarding gate. My people, that was how I arrived at the gate by 6:30am only to find another African from Djibouti also going to DC, and ought to have boarded the flight but stranded outside this gate. His first words, we've missed the flight, and the gate is locked. I responded, the plane hasn't left as I pointed to it. He said they won't let us in as boarding is closed.

We were ask to go see customer service but was astounded by the poor and irritating lack of empathy by the customer representatives of Frontier Airlines. Many of their customers missed one flight or the other for different reasons - We had to repay to book our tickets for another flight. No refund was given.
Currently waiting for the next flight to DC. Note: cheap flight comes with trade offs.
U still carry church matter enter USA, no be juju be that.

Chinedu GRV stop deceiving yourself you can't unseat Gov. Babajide Sanwo Olu. The sentiments that some people used in the presidential election to vote against APC have now be conquered.

No more religious sentiment, Obingo used it to get votes from the Church, he visited all the churches in Nigeria to campaign but it's now 3weeks after the election he had not visited them to say thank you.

We crave for leaders that can bring us true development in terms of economic and infrastructures and Sanwo Olu had proven he is up to the task so we must ensure he gets the second term God's willing.
Was it the church that voted for him?

Romance › Re: My Mum Have An Issue With My Girlfriend Cuz She's Igbo by Dshocker(m): 4:56am On Mar 14, 2023
Offpointng:
I don't know how to put it in the right words tho. but my Mum kinda have a past History with Igbo people that's making accepting my Girlfriend a problem. One of it was, when she had my Pregnancy, she had to work under this Igbo woman that maltreated her and did the unthinkable to a pregnant woman. The painful thing was, the woman's friends also used that leverage to insult, maltreat and do all manner of unthinkable things to her despite seeing how heavily pregnant she was. Before then, the nature of my Dad's job is a type that he only comes home twice monthly and my mum being a woman that wasn't trained to be idle took it on herself to keep herself busy atleast and decide to work at a Restaurant close to where she lived and that was the inhumane treatment she got. When we moved to the SW, we had to stay in this flat that had two Igbo neighbors. My mom actually made friends with them outta a pure heart but they just kept taking advantage of the fact that she a free giver. they back bite and do say bad things about her alot. The Yoruba neighbors on the other hand were more friendly to her and so overtime, she do have this distant relationship with any Igbo person she meet and that history is bout affecting my relationship with this girl. I would have said I'll go ahead with the relationship regardless but my mom don't want to tell you something and you disobey. it always come with regrets. esp me, anytime I do something she doesn't want me to do I always do regret it.

This have got me worried tbh. what can I do fam?
Yoruba should marry Yoruba, Igbos should marry Igbos.

Stay away from her, period.
