Olishe was the best natural midfielder in the history of Nigerian football. I respect him. The connection between Olishe and Rasheed Yekeen is unequaled.
. The SC has once again demonstrated it's legal power to interprete the law beyond letters. Same action was take on Obi vrs Tinubu 2023 when it upheld that 25% in Abuja is a condition to set aside BAT election. Some oppositions vituperated on the judgment because it was in favour of BAT.
Today the SC held that though Electoral Act recommens ratification and stamping of ballot papers it should not be a condition for deduction of Yiusuf votes since the ballots were prepared for the election.
Those condemning BAT victory at the SC are now praising SC today when it went beyond letters to decide the matter.
In my opinion like BAT election victory , logic plays a role in the interpretation of our constitution. I agree with the apex court too.Congratulations to the NNPP governor! It must be noted now that a lacuna has been created with this judgement. In a state election, ballot papers meant for Ife Central Local Government in Osun State can be used in Olorunda LGA. INEC can use any ballot papers anywhere!

Glimpsetv: Curiosity was sparked when the construction company overseeing repairs on Third Mainland Bridge was recorded 'sacrificing' three rams before starting the repairs.
In the video, three lifeless rams were observed on the ground, their blood filling a container beneath their placed necks. Men, including a foreigner, were seen moving around during the sacrificial ritual.
This has prompted numerous questions, with some scrutinizing the necessity or significance of such a sacrifice before addressing a damaged section of the popular Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos.
So, the question arises: Do you believe this is necessary? What are your thoughts on this matter? Feel free to share your opinions in the comment section.
A true christian must believe that there are evil spirits Eph 6 11-13
The road workers believe those water spirits must be appeased to finish their work.
Apart from those people ,those who drive wood lorries "Agbeklodo ". do not do their work without any special protection . We are indeed in the world where everyone is treading carefully on matters.

Would it be a funny question if I ask who the greatest Nigeria Super Eagles player to wear the number 10 jersey is? I believe nearly everyone would chorus Okocha. But what if you are wrong?
What if history and stats say otherwise?
Today, we'll explore the greatest Nigerian players to wear football's most iconic jersey number; 10
📌Jay Jay Okocha 📌Etim Esin 📌John Obi Mikel 📌Henry Nwosu
🦅Etim Esin: Nicknamed "African Maradona" because of his exceptional talent, Etim had one of the shortest period with the Super Eagles but cannot be ignored. He's seen by international media as one of the most gifted players Nigeria has ever had.
Etim made just 8 appearances for Nigeria, 6 of which were World Cup qualifiers. Etim's career was cut short because he was reportedly banned by FIFA on accusation of raping and impregnating a minor during his playing days in Belgium, something that was later proven false after the Belgian girl gave birth to a child with no trace of black blood. Despite being vindicated, the incidence, coupled with his other past discipline issues had already dented his football career badly.
Late Stephen Keshi has this to say about Etim Esin "We had Etim Esin and relied so much on him. The team was built around him because he had so much skill and had so much to offer. So we said this is our “Diego Maradona” in Nigeria because he can do anything with the ball. It was like he was born with the ball.”
Etim's International stats are: 📌Debut: 1987 📌Position: CM 📌Appearances: 8 📌Goals: 1 📌Assists: 0 📌Trophies: 0 📌Duration with Super Eagles: 1 year
🦅Jay Jay Okocha: If Etim Esin is known as one of the most gifted players from Nigeria, then Okocha is one of the most gifted the world of football has ever produced.
Okocha was never named after anyone like "African Pele" or "African Maradona". Okocha was simply Okocha, and that name was and still is a BIG NAME.
Okocha represented Nigeria at 4 AFCON and 3 World Cups, winning one AFCON and being included in a World Cup Best 11.
Okocha left Super Eagles as Nigeria's best dribbler, best freekick taker, best passer, and most entertaining player.
His international stats are; 📌Debut: 1994 📌Position: CM, AM 📌Appearances: 75 📌Goals: 15 📌Assists: 2 📌Trophies/Medals: 9 (1x AFCON Title, 1x AFCON Top Scorer, 2x BBC African Best, 1x Olympics Gold Medal, 1x AFCON Silver medal, 3x AFCON Bronze medal) 📌Duration with Super Eagles: 12 years (1994-2006)
🦅John Obi Mikel: Stepping into Okocha's big and heavy shoes almost immediately was young John Mikel.
Fresh from an outstanding U-20 world cup where he was second best to Leo Messi, Mikel caused a transfer tussle between Chelsea and Manchester United before arriving at Nigeria's senior team
His arrival was highly anticipated as he had already shown his calibre at the U-20 World cup.
Mike represented Nigeria at 5 AFCON, 3 World Cup, 1 Confederations Cup, 1 Olympics, 1 U-20 World Cup and 1 U-17 World Cup.
📌Debut: 2005 📌Position: DM, CM, AM 📌Appearances: 91 📌Goals: 6 📌Assists: 12 📌Trophies/Medals: 8 - (1x AFCON, 1x Olympics Bronze, 1x U-20 World Cup silver Ball, 1x U-20 World Cup Silver medal, 3x AFCON Bronze medal, 1x CAF Most Promising Talent) 📌Duration with Super Eagles: 14 years (2005-2019)
🦅Henry Nwosu Henry Nwosu is remembered as Nigeria's youngest player among the AFCON 1980 winning team. He represented Nigeria at 4 AFCON,
His international stats are; 📌Debut: 1980 📌Position: AM, RM 📌Appearances: 60 📌Goals: 8 📌Assists: 0 📌Trophies: (1x AFCON, 2x AFCON silver Medal) 📌Duration with Super Eagles: 11 years (1980-1991)
My choices are Sunday Olishe and Okocha! Mikel Obi was always slow in passing ball. Instead he would be turning around like a barber's chair. Olishe was a natural midfielder . He passed ball quickly like Fabregas. After Olishe was the turn of Okocha. ....That is all

Odin13: Aketi the Yoruba man that Yoruba people used to confuse southern Nigeria .. taking advantage of his Igbo wife to deceive many Igbo people into a fake southern unity that was staged to advance the political fortune of Yoruba Tinubu and Yoruba people
Same Yoruba today are abusing the same woman the took advantage of to launch the ambition of Tinubu and today Yoruba man is the president of Nigeria Had Tinubu not use Aketi and his Igbo wife .. as base for his southern unity.. Yoruba no for be president .. power would have returned to the North comfortably
Thank God we’re alive to see this act on betray of trust
The same woman Yoruba people used to lay foundation.. is the same woman Yoruba the abuse and curse .. for simply being Igbo
No other tribe they fall mugu to Yoruba schemes except igbos .. .. and same Yoruba go still turn laugh at their nzuzu..
Life goes on
Rest Aketi
IGBOS did not vote Tinubu . The. North voted for him. I disagree that Akeredolu wife made Tinubu win . The woman is insignificant on the election of Tinubu as the president.
As I always say it is the North that decided who rules us now. The region will do the same in 2027!
Evboesi: many of you here are so retarded and mentally messed up, you conjure new versions of history everyday with no historical proof, backing or background whatsoever. If i tell you to quote anything now you start foaming in your mouth.
I know of onisabe, i know of onipopo, i will tell you there is no onibenin, i would tell you for a fact that it is only very recently Dahomey became republic of Benin. Read up and strengthen your brain ire o.
Beyond the Oba’s family and a few other family, the overwhelming majority of Benin people and families did not have that association and rigmarole with Oduduwa, hence Benin people are not descendants of Oduduwa, only a very minute is
I don't want to reply you because it seems yiu lack manners in the way you express yourself. Nobody is winning any argument here.We are just rubbing our minds. For our readers, I will emphasize again that
1. Benin in Edo State originated from Ile Ife 2. Yorubas in Benin Republic originated from Oduduwa. They are part of Yoruba Benin people in Edo State that live in Benin Republic 3 Aworis are Lagos early settlers. The Portuguese named Lagos after Lagos in Portugal.
The people of Benin Republic are not owners of Lagos.
Evboesi: Benin people are not descendants of oduduwa, there is no text anywhere that state that. A very minute section of the Benin people have this rigmarole and association with Oduduwa
Oduduwa had a son Okanbi who had seven children .Their names in order of birth are Olowu of Owu, Onisbe of Sabe, Onipopo of Popo, Oba of Benin, Orangun of Ila, Alaketu of Ketu, and Alafin of Oyo. Oba of Benin is a decendat of Oduduwa. He later moved to Benin Land now EdO State . Benin people are descendants of Oduduwa. A new king in Benin must come to Ile-Ife as part of the kingship rite. Much later some Benin people went to Benin Republic to settle there .That is why there are Yoruba speakers in Benin Republic today. They are all descendants of Oduduwa.
Evboesi: Benin people are not descendants of oduduwa, there is no text anywhere that state that. A very minute section of the Benin people have this rigmarole and association with Oduduwa
But are you aware that One of Oduduwa Children is Onibenin of Benin. His children and descendants settled in Edo State . making up Benin Land.Years later some migrated to Benin Republic .That is why we have Yoruba speakers in Benin Republic till today . They are desecedants of Oduduwa! too
. The Aworis were the first settlers in Lagos. IT was the Portuguese traders that gave them the name Lagos. Lagos is also in Portugal till today. The Nigerian history is also in support of the fact that Yorubas were that early settlers in Lagos not the Benin people! I also agree that the Benin people of Edo State are also the descendants of Yoruba. There forefather was a son of Oduduwa.
seguno2: Apart from being a clown, is it possible that he is actually a communist who wants government to forever subsidise consumption and own/control businesses so that we remain extreme poverty paupers
I just wonder the way he reasons. Major opposition ? With how many governors from the LP?

They use such certificates to contest elections in Nigeria.
Most politicians in Nigeria with sudden abroad degrees cannot even pass a General Studies paper in any Nigerian university let alone writing a project.
It will interest you to know that there are peoy who ubdetake project writing for money across Nigeria now let alone abroad. My question is : are foreign certificates evaluated again in Nigeria before holders go for NYSC?
Infractstructurally Aregbesola did well in his first tenure but he plunged Osun State into debts in his second tenure leading to the payment of half salary to the civil servants in the state . By the time Oyetola was coming in 2018 APC had lost the grip of power by the maladministration of Aregbesola. In fact Aregbe did not follow Oyetola to campaign during the election. APC had to rig the election through rerun .
The tenure of Oyetola had human face and deviated from 2nd term inglorious reign of Aregbe. Aregbesola still wanted to dictate for Oyetola. The incumbent governor is the party leader not the former governor. Aregbesola wanted to be the party leader again. Tinubu in Lagos would not openly dictate for any governor. He knows how to play his politics. As a result Aregbesola led a faction in Osun and they all voted PDP and Adeleke. As if that was not enough he was campaigning against BAT in the build of the presidential election. BAT was smarter and he defeated all of them. Aregbesola used his greed against the party that made him commissioner in Lagos and governor in Osun . The only solution he has now is to go to PDP for he is gradully going into extinction in APC.
As for Oyetola he should have known that Osun workers wanted their outstanding salaries . He claimed no money to do so but he left about 40 biilions naira when he was leaving the office. Why not paying out of the money.? As for Adeleke he used the outstanding salaries to campaign. After a year now how many months has he paid? How many months will he pay in the next two years? The last year is for another campaign! Nothing will be done! Does that not show that all politicians are the same?
From what Aregbesola said in Osogbo it is clear that when politicians fight it is not in the interest of the masses but it is all about greed ,self enrichment and fleecing of the masses.

BeautifulMind2: An Igbo linguist has begun translating a physics textbook into the Igbo language.
The man, Maazi Ogbonnaya Okoro, stated on social media that the work would be completed in 2024.
He stated that once he finished translating physics into Igbo, he would start working on chemistry and biology.
He wrote:
“By 2024, I should be done translating Physics textbook into the Igbo Language. Once I am done with Physics, I will go over to Chemistry, Biology and other STEM subjects.”
In a separate post made in 2021, the scholar said he had done other major works in the Igbo language.
His words:
“Now I have over 25 published books in Igbo and total of 58 published and unpublished manuscripts in Igbo Language. Translated the BBC guidelines in Igbo before the launching of BBC Igbo Service; translated Igbo for the UNESCO.”

. Good efforts! Nigerian languages should not die. They must coexist with English.
happney65: So when are they giving the Judgement?Today or when?
The judgement will be presented on another day. However the SC in some cases can hear the briefs of a case and deliver judgement same day! The SC has decided on the matter already. They just heard the briefs of the parties involved in the case!
CASTOSVILLA: Sometimes I wonder if my people are really as wise and smart as we claim to be. How can you continuously crumble the economy of your home to protest for the release of your son MNK. We've done this for the longest of time and it's not yielding any result because other regions of the country are not feeling it and do not care! Many of our brothers and sisters cannot relate with this useless protest because they prefer Nigeria and not Biafra.
In my opinion:: the best way to go about this is to hold our leaders accountable using force if necessary in our respective states. Chanel all our resources to the East, develope it more and create for ourselves those amenities that the government at the center has failed to deliver on. Rid ourselves of the bad eggs and improve the security of our region.
Simon Ekpa and his boys must be eradicated for peace to reign in Igbo land and with this mindset, other regions will take us seriously and also see the positive nature of our struggle.
Let's stop this NZOGBU NZOGBU attitude that we have, it's not helping us at home and beyond.
I come in peace ✌️
If you are an Igbo it is you that will talk to your people. We have done our best to sensitize them but all usulaly goes to thier deaf ears. They at times try to swallow us online. Only God understands their brain chemistry!
If you are not an Igbo ,I share yiur thinking and concern too. The truth is IGBOS don't think like Yorubas. In view of their civil war experiences they are supposed to be wiser now. However as long as their impulsiveness does not extend to the other parts of Nigeria, they can do what they like to one another. One day their eyes will open to the realities.
So after many decades of demonising, ostracising and sometimes disfellowshiping male members who opt to wear or keep their God given natural beards. The leaders of the Jehovah's Witnesses sect has approved responsible male brothers to wear and keep beards if they choose in a recent update aired on jw broadcast dated December 15,2023.
On this update nos 8 they've agreed that is non scriptural to instruct Christians on how to look outwardly uniformly. They now accept that spirituality is the basis of Christianity not outward appearances or trying to appear or sound different from other competing religious organisations .
There's high and mixed emotions amongst the members now. Many are disappointed while few who has been scorned by elders and congregation leaders for trying to leave there beards to grow may be the only ones excited.
But personally they( Governing Body) needs to apologise to there members for trying to make them look like a cult. Cus is only a cult that that enforce a dress pattern or grooming for members from varying cultures and backgrounds all around the world
The headline is confusing " Can now wear beard" Please note that depending on where yiu live there are Jws in the foreign lands that have beards. Thier culture allows them to do so. In Africa we always believe those with beards are thugs and worldly. The JW organisation is now saying whether you have beards or not is your personal decision . It is not a do or die affair. It all about promotion of unity among them.
bobonla: Few weeks ago I had some pains on my both toes after wearing shoes. I thought the pains was because the shoes were tight. But this morning I decided to cut my toe nails clean with blade. In the process of cutting it, a brownish liquid started rushing out from it. I noticed the nail was completely empty inside and almost rotten. Please help what medication can I take, and what is the cause of it? First puc is the left toe 2nd pic is the right toe. It isn't that painful as of now
