Something funny is happening in Kogi state. This state has three major ethnic groups i.e. Ebiras, Igalas and Okuns (Yorubas). But sadly, since the creation of the state, only the Igalas and Ebiras have been ruling back to back. No Okun/Yoruba has ever ruled Kogi state since its creation.

In Delta State, there are three major ethnic groups i.e. Urhobos, Anioma/Igbos and Itshekiri. All of them have ruled accordingly. In Rivers State, both the Igboid upland areas and the Ijoid riverine areas have ruled.

So, why is Kogi state different? Even Dino Melaye, an Okun man who contested under PDP was disgraced. A major opposition party like PDP performed so woefully that ordinary SDP candidate almost won against APC.

SDP candidate was Igala.
APC candidate was Ebira.
PDP candidate was Okun/Yoruba.

Yet the contest was between SDP Igala and APC Ebira. Why are the Okuns maltreated in Kogi state?

Yorubas are minority in Kogi state.However the candidate PDP presented is a Yoruba man. His people did not vote him because he offended Yoruba kingdom by making jest of Tinubu the Yoruba kingdom candidate in the last election.

deceiving Nigerians with BVAS which are not back by law. If INEC fails to respond after 30 days by withdrawing BVAS from future elections my organisation will start a case in Court.

This may not be necessary. I however agree that BVAS machines are useless and time wasting for they only window dress Nigerian elections.

If we say security is local and therefore, need to have indigenes who speak the language and understand the culture of the people as their police Commissioners; why implement it for all of the Yoruba States and then bring “foreigners” to be Commissioners of Police in Southeast and Niger Delta States?

If they have chosen to make Locals who understand the people’s culture and language Police Commissioners, let it be effected across the 36 states; let an Edo man be made the Police Commissioner of Edo State, let an Urhobo, Isoko or Ijaw man be made Police Commissioner in Delta, deploy Igbo Police Commissioners to Anambra, Imo and Abia. The National Industrial Court sitting in Owerri has issued an interim injunction restraining the organised labour from embarking on any kind of strike in Imo State until further notice.

The court warned against the disobedience of its order, saying that it would attract consequences.

Justice Nelson Ogbuanya gave the order on Friday, October 3 after hearing the submissions of counsels to both parties that they were yet to reach a settlement on their dispute.

Why did the Imo People beat their son in Imo? A report has it that a day before the botched the Imo state workers informed me agreement had been reached with the government on their outstanding salaries.He was also acussed of working for LP candidate in the state.
One can see why he was humiliated in the state by his people.

APC has about 11 states in the North more than the APC states in the South.
PDP has more states in the South than in the North.

During the election SE voted their new bride LP SW voted APC .All the APC states voted for APC. Rivers and Benue followed APC because of PDP crisis.

SW supported their Son .SE suported their mezziah son too.

The North supported Tinubu for reasons best known to them!
PBAT won the election and won in court too.

Anybody that has issues with it should go to the North and complain to them.

As for the SE and their messiah, they should learn more on the Nigerian politics.

Kogi2023: Dino/Deen Campaign Raises Alarm Over Takeover of Hotels by Yahaya Bello.

The Dino/Deen Campaign Council of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has raised an alarm over the statement credited to the Kogi State government requesting all the hotels in the state to handover all rooms to designated officers of the state government.

The campaign asserts that the blocking of all the hotels in Kogi state by the state government is designed to enable Governor Yahaya Bello and the agents of the APC to house hired thugs, rogue security agents and other non-state actors which the APC evidently plot to use to foment trouble in the November 11 governorship election.

The attention of our campaign has also be drawn to plots by Governor Bello to use such thugs to hijack materials on the day of the election after the accreditation process has been completed.

Our campaign advises hotel owners to reject the offer of releasing their hotel rooms to the state government as such has the capacity of pitching them against the people.

It is also important for proprietors of hotels in the state to avoid being used by Bello that has wrecked the economy of the state and left their means of livelihood in comatose.

The battle to rescue Kogi state from the stranglehold of Bello and restore the lives of the people to economic prosperity will be determined through this November 11 election and only Senator Dino Melaye can lead our state to achieve this growth.

We therefore enjoin Kogites not to allow their business enterprises to be turned into a hideout for criminals, thugs and hoodlums which the APC plans to import to unleashed violence on the state.

My advice is that Obi and Atiku should go back to the drawing table against 2031 election.
Power would go back to the North in 2031. Eight years later (2039)it would come to the South.
SE must align with other regions to produce the president.

So in my opinion, “Are you suppose to pay tithes to your own church if you’re the pastor?”

. No where in the Bible is the tithe compulsory for chritians.!

It is voluntary for chrstians . A christian can even pay more than tenth.

As for the Isrealites it was compulsory to pay tithes. Priests and other working in the temple also made contributions to the house of God .
However the Mosaic Law did not make it compulsory for them to pay thithe.The tithe was used for their upkeeps and maintenance!
