PoliticsMillion Dollar Soak Away Story A Lie, See Source Of Real Picture by Eketem(op): 4:03pm On Feb 14, 2016
The picture was stolen from a story on a Colombian drug lord.

Propaganda people take it easy please

Pablo had so much money that he could not possibly spend it all. He had over 800 luxury mansions all over Colombia, owned football teams, he gave away billions of dollars to help build hospital’s, schools, work programs and even rebuilt entire ghettos for the poverty stricken people of Colombia.

pablos-moneyEven with all that going on, he still had too much cash to hide. So he started to bury it all over Colombia. The location of each money pit was known by only Pablo and his three closest associates.

You posted a story yet you have refused to return to give or get feedback.

Don't let me believe you are one of those scammers hoping to hook desperate trying to conceive couples and people who may be touched to help.

I advice people who will want to send private messages to be careful and diligent. This format has been used widely to perpetute fraud. In some cases they will collect money from up to 5 people for one child.

Poster come back and get feedback, people have provided you legal alternatives. People sneaking into inbox do so at your own risk don't come and cry scam tomorrow

You called her your brothers fiancée not his house help. Why would you expect her to wash your plates are your hands broken?

She is right you are rude and entitled. I like that she has stopped that slavery now so at least you won’t expect that she will wait on you hands and feet for the rest of her life.

Why should your brother ask when you obviously have very little sense or respect for his wife.

Looking at what you wrote up there I will explain few things to you. I have not gone to see a movie at the cinemas before yet I work on the island, I don't drink, I am not a fan of any football team, I don't even know the name of any club. I spend more education presently I have a private online German tutor. I have asked her what do you want to do besides the secretary job...it's been six years take an additional course/diploma or degree. She has excuses to give...I don't have any investment but my introverted nature is making my savings look good. Now I work very looooong hours sometimes my engagement team can call from another country due to time zone difference, I wake, turn up skype...work starts....till God knows when I can't be doing these and investing its suicide....I am not saying start saving pennies when I will lose pounds on the long run. I need someone hungry to achieve. Yes wear expensive clothes but you will work the money out with your brains. I want someone I can give xxxx amount and I will be confident she will utilise it well....It goes beyond being "just modest" or "nice"....I will keep an open mind till the end of the year then if am not convinced....i think I have done what is required
Oga the point is that you have changed, you want her to change and fit into your new life, she doesn't want to change, she wants to be her. If you can't deal with that leave her she will find someone and you will find someone.

It doesn't have to be identical, the aim of the story was to show everyone in the long run will find the right fit for them.

hmmn,

Don't you think "it is well" alert is dangerous?

My concern actually is the continued communication with the said ex.
Let's not digress from the main topic. Just shared my story as encouragement for the lady in case she ever reads this.

I have no need to explain or justify communication here.

Have a nice night, poster, best wishes to you both in whatever decision you take

FamilyRe: Should I Continue With The Relationship? (25+ Only) by Eketem: 8:30pm On Jan 31, 2016
I have been laughing all day because I remember when my ex was saying and doing the same thing you are doing to your babe.

Almost same scene only that growing up I had more money and supported him,as soon as money started coming in we were world's apart. He wanted to club and show off I was more conservative, I wanted to save and build a future.

He wanted a big car, I wanted to be more modest and invest in a land.

I was also worried that his income was less than what he was spending

He got tired of my constant questions and there were ready big babes who helped him blow 100k at a go in a club, that was living to him. When he finally left me sighting our age, and our different lifestyles I almost died, I cried for ages but I moved on, he moved on too and married one of the babes who had better " taste" than I did

Well when I was getting married he was stunned at the kind of person I married and the kind of wedding I had, some called it a " Presidential wedding " because former President's, ministers etc were all there, this life.

Anyway my husband and I are the same, we have the same mentality towards money and live modestly, we plan,we save we compliment each other.

Now EFCC is on my exes case, money isn't flowing like before so wahala is on home front. He tries to reach out and complian I murmur words if prayers and tell him " It is well". Like I said free her, God that gave me my own husband who appreciates me as I am will give her her own husband who won't look down on her

My own problem in all this is that you have made me crave crayfish rice now.

Heehehehe big boy, you want rice with curry and thyme plus turkey abi?

My advice is simple: free her biko, you have spoken so condescendingly about her and no matter how much she tries she will still bring out that one thing that irritates you, I hope you find what you are looking for and I hope she finds the man who will love her just the way she is. She sounds like a lovely woman

You are the only rude person I see in this story.

You have this condescending attitude to your in law because he is jobless, if he had a job and gives you money am sure you won't remember his belief or faith.

Yes you live in their house and will live by their rules. You are both old men act like it and stop being disrespectful so you need to be told to clean up and wash plates when you are squating abi?

All this in law drama sef.

Ps thank God today na man vs man at least we now know that two idle men will also produce friction

She won't listen, someone is trying to save her from wasting any more years of her life on top the two years she no go gree, she will now waste more time and when he finally marries the lady he really wants she will join " I hate Nigerian men" support group.

Leave her, make she go join church worker, twist and turn yourself into something you are not. You can't bribe him into loving you.

A man who loves you will be concerned about your salvation too if salvation is the issue, he won't dump you because he is now " saved", he will want you to experience his new life with him and grow together. The man doesn't love you but trust women to love to deceive themselves

FamilyRe: My Wife Wants To Buy The Following For The Baby by Eketem: 2:36pm On Dec 21, 2015
After all said and done parenting is a huge responsibility. This is the reality people who rush you to "do and born " won't tell you.

This is what young couples should be planning and saving for and not a big society wedding.

Kids won't hear " no money".

Please please please people should do better financial planning, car seat if you have a car is non negotiable, don't cut corners and injure your child.

It takes 9 months to birth a child, the planning should even start before then.

I also recommend you open an account for the child from all the small small money people will give when Baby comes. Kids are very expensive, please let us not compromise on their health and safety.

They were insulting us that we are bitter and just trying to delay her happiness nah. Later on, it's to be begging for financial help on NL. I decided to go to Balogun market and accidentally found myself in Dosunmu (baby section). The prices there were hitting what one finds at Ebeano Supermarket in Lekki. And as dollar falls, they will increase prices.

OP, it's better to shop now. If dollar doesn't fall next year, by March it will be over N300 and prices will go up. Immunizations are not cheap so budget paying for pnemoccocal (it's important) and try and get the rest at government hospital. If you guys have a washing machine, you can use modern cloth diapers (I use them and they save money and I also sewed my wipes, plain terry towels work well). If not, I've heard of affordable disposable diaper brands like Angel and Molfix which work better that made-in-nigeria Huggies or Pampers. Use Olive or Coconut oil for body cream (my baby uses that successfully, and Palm kernel oil is still kinda controversial because different dermatologists feel differently about it). Maybe use coconut oil or Vaseline for diaper barrier cream (I prefer coconut oil) so you can get the smallest pot of Sudocrem (N2500) and it will be used only if you have rashes.
Buy unisex coloured clothing (grey, white, yellow) until baby is over 3 months.

Buy the hospital list now and pack her hospital bag now. You don't want to be unprepared and I've heard about the horrors of Nigerian nurses and maternity ward grin (the most wicked agbeero pales in comparison to an overworked, underpaid Nigerian nurse so she will take out her frustration on your poor labouring wife if that list is not complete or if you come with no bag to the hospital).
I'm actually planning a post on best baby products in Nigeria o, so maybe I'll write some more.
My sister ehnnnnnn me i know the mentality of my sisters down north and was speaking based on that. The parents know that too and hence their objection. Once the girls in the circle start getting married body go dey pain them. A lot of my school friends did same now you dare not add them on Facebook or else you face lamentations upon lamentations. Wish her well sha.

Back to post, olive oil and shear butter is also very good. Plus once they are a bit older like 4 months you can use lux to bath them. After 2 months the mother can use washable breastpads, the disposable ones go for 2500 for 40 pieces if she changes morning and evening it is 10 days only so on breastpads alone 7500 a month

This is really shocking to read. 50k? Mr man . are not ready or it hasn't hit you yet.take like 300k to buy baby thing and you still wont see what you have bought trust me you haven't started.
This is if you want to add crib, carrier, stroller etc. For the basics 100k should do.

If oga has no money he can break save some more from now till January but by January he needs to start saving money for hospital bill and immunisation. Rotavirus is every month for the first three months and the cheapest you Will get it is 16k. He should pray it's a vagin-al birth because CS is much more expensive.

These expenses is what young couples should be planning during courtship not big wedding

Also all these parents demanding this and that should realise that a couple would have to deal with this when they marry
FamilyRe: My Wife Wants To Buy The Following For The Baby by Eketem: 11:13am On Dec 19, 2015
I am sorry to say your attitude is just wrong Sir. These things are not for fancy but for the safety of your wife and child. If you want to bring a child to this world please be ready for the expenses that come with that responsibility.

Go yourself to a big pharmachy and a baby shop find out the prices of these things yourself then you will understand how expensive these things are.

Meanwhile does your wife work? I hope she does and has money to add up else those wicked nurses will just embarrass her during antenatal.

This is why I advocate for family joint and expenses account, if you had better financial planning and an account to plan and prepare for this you won't be disrespecting her on nairaland because she needs items to bring your own child into the world.

Women please empower yourselves.

NORAD:
Thanks for your suggestion. I can part with 50k THIS DECEMBER but not 100k.
By the way, the baby is due in March, (plus or minus two weeks). I hope we can still go about this in piecemeal fashion.
FamilyRe: My Wife Wants To Buy The Following For The Baby by Eketem: 9:57am On Dec 19, 2015
This is the hospital list like someone said it should cost about 100k, and better believe there are more expenses coming.

When we tell young couples to plan their lives because babies are expensive them no go hear. Anyway you have months to save and plan. These items should be ready and packed by the 7 month in a box.

Goodluck.

Just to give an update. MY HPV was positive. It would now be sent for more tests to be sure it hasn't gone to cancerous stage. He has also impregnated about 2 women, one sells shoes in market and the other is a hair dresser. This is a man who makes almost 2million naira monthly.
I have decided i have to leave, He has told me he has been doing this since he was a teenager, so thinking he will change now is futile. He is not sexually attracted to me, but rather to extremely fat women. His women were prostitutes, fat pregnant women, even importing fat girls from the village for sex....and many other things. My family is still not in support but i have to look out for myself and my only child.
This is really sad. I am sorry about your heartbreak and your health challenges however I am happy that unlike most Nigerian women who are gluttons for punishment you have some value for yourself and a direction for your future.

The kids will benefit more from two parents who love them and even if they can't stand each other than two parents staying for them living in resentment. Just both ensure you don't drag the kids into your fights and make their welfare a priority.

HPV unlike HIV is treatable even cervical cancer is treatable if detected early, please don't wait till you get HIV This should be seen as a warning from God that you need to value your own life before he gives you something worse.

Ignore his money and his supposed class. If he chooses to live a reckless life allow him just don't subject yourself to that sort of extreme misery.

I pray for strength for you. So sorry once more

Frustration kwa? I laugh you in Chinese cheesy
If anyone is frustrated here, it's you and your likes who are not happy that their hero and his foot soldiers are being disgraced and embarrassed by #DasukiGate.

Adesina couldn't have been clearer to sensible persons with that reply. Which part of "Nothing beyond what he was statutorily entitled to" is ambiguous to petty mind as yours?

And which dollars? How much?
Calm down and breathe. $300,000 was said to have been paid to Buhari as compensation after his attack, now it is confirmed he indeed received it. I don't hold brief for anyone just asking factual questions.

You can attack all you want but the image of the President will be questioned by this action especially his austere I have no money image. He is a beneficiary of a bad system just like the rest of them. He isn't a saint after all
PoliticsRe: Presidency Reacts To Rumour That Buhari Received Money From Dasuki by Eketem(op): 3:29pm On Dec 15, 2015
PassingShot:
Adesina didn't say "he did" as you're reporting but "nothing beyond what he was statutorily entitled to". And that did not confirm receiving money. Buhari would not have received any money from Dasuki but from FG for his monthly entitlement as a former HOS.

Case dismissed if Dasuki cannot state specifically what Buhari got from him which was not his statutory entitlement.
Then Adesina is a bad spokesman. Why did he not specify that? The question was if Buhari recieved money from Dasuki.

Be angry with Adesina and not with me abeg. Carry your frustration go. Why did Buhari not declare these dollars when declaring his asests?
PoliticsRe: Presidency Reacts To Rumour That Buhari Received Money From Dasuki by Eketem(op): 3:15pm On Dec 15, 2015
PassingShot:
The ONSA is statutorily empowered to provide entitlements due past HOS and presidents. So, no news here.
PassingShot:
So, if NSA is mandated to provide statutory entitlements to former Heads of States and presidents, how does it become a ground to embezzle all monies meant for something else?
And the topic is more than misleading. Femi Adesina didn't confirm Buhari received money from Dasuki. So, why saying he confirms Buhari received money from him?
Dasuki is a sinking man who will always try to grab unto leaves even though he knows he will eventually get drowned.
Please how is this thread misleading? Sahara Reporters asked a direct question If it was true that Buhari collected money from Dasuki, Adeshina responded that he did but It was his entitlement. Nothing misleading here.

The Presidential Spokesman has confirmed to Sahara reporters that President Buhari received money from Dasuki as well as the Bullet proof vehicles.

Adeshina claims they were statuary entitlements of the President.

FamilyRe: Am Undergraduate And Wanna Marry. Parents Say NO!! Pls Advice by Eketem: 4:33am On Dec 12, 2015
First of all I am sure your parents have more than one source of income but you want to rush into a marriage with only one source of income everything every bill is hinged on that one income source. What happens if God forbid he looses that job? What do you fall back on?

Secondly you are your parents responsibility even when things are bad they won't see you as the source of their problems but God forbid things get tight when you rush in and marry you become the source of the problem, it is at this point fake pastors will start seeing you as the one behind his challenges.

Having a baby like someone said is very very very expensive I emphasise very. Go to Stellas blog and see women who rushed into marriage like you begging for diapers, food and baby items because the husbands they thought would do everything for them now see them as lazy burdens.
You need to learn how to take care of yourself first before you bring a child into this world.

In today's world being a woman is beyond cooking and washing plates and playing wife.

I advice that if you are so bent on getting married you start doing small small business and raising some money independently, like someone said start paying bills like light and gas bills in your parents house. If you can raise money from a side business as well as manage your schooling and contribute financially to a home then you are ready for marriage. But please do not hinge all your plans on only your husbands income
