Hello nairalanders.

I will not call the name of my church for some reasons, but my church is that type that dosn't have a parmanent pastor.

So, we always have a new pastor almost every four or five years.

Recently, a new pastor was transfered to us, this my new pastor is very good when it comes to preaching the word of God, and things that helps in the development of a church.. infact, so many good things have been going 'on' in my church since his arrival.

But the problem is that, he is that kind of pastor with swag, He goes to beer parlour to drink, he can go to gathering to play draft, (imaging the kind of people u see in a beer parlour of draft gathering), and because of this things he does, some people (expecially other churches) use it against us the members..

People we be like, una pastor wey dey drink beer.. And we don't even know how we can deffend him or ourself when we are being attacked by these people..

We are currently loosing members on a daily basis, and i'm not happy with it.

His he (The pastor) always drunk after drinking?
If No, abeg make una leave that man make he Sip him Alcohol!

That was how I lost 265,000 on the 10th of January this year to this devil called fraudsters. I'm very sure someone from the bank is involved in this.

Anyway, I have just constructed a box to be putting my money inside. I'm never using these unsafe Nigerian Banks any longer.

When a person commits an offence, it is definite for him or her to be punished. The punishment for a crime however depends on the type of offence in question, as well as the provision of the law prescribing punishment for an individual.

Offences in Nigeria can be categorised into misdemeanour, felony and simple offences. Any offence that is considered to be serious and has an imprisonment term of 3 years or more is considered to be a felony. When a person is sentenced to life imprisonment for an offence, such offence is categorised as a felony.

Some offences with life imprisonment prescribed as its punishment include:

1. Rape:

Rape refers to the act of having unlawful sexual intercourse with a woman without her consent, or with her consent if it was obtained by fraud or misrepresentation as to the nature of the act. Section 358 of the Criminal Code Act provides that any person who commits the offence of rape is liable to an imprisonment for life, with or without caning.

2. Murder by a pregnant woman:

Generally, the law provides that any person who commits murder is to be sentenced to death. However, Section 221 of the Child Rights Act provides that an alternative of a life imprisonment sentence should be meted out to her, in order to preserve the life of the unborn child.

3. Manslaughter:

Manslaughter involves the killing of another person in circumstances except the ones contained in Section 316 of the Criminal Code Act. The punishment for this offence is prescribed in Section 325 of the Criminal Code to be imprisonment for life.

4. Kidnapping:

As the offence of kidnapping has become very rampant in Nigeria today, the senate decided to pass a bill into law increasing the imprisonment term for kidnappers. In a recent decision of the Federal high court in Sokoto, 4 kidnappers were sentenced to death for kidnapping a business tycoon Late Abubakar Dankure in 2013.

Please Advice Me on this:

I currently work in a private school where I'm earning just 20k per month.

As you all know that this can't even feed some people for a week. But I manage to feed myself with it for the month anyway. No savings, no buying of new clothes. Just for feeding!

I have decided to learn how to drive (I'm planning to start next week). Get a certificate, and a driver's license before the end of this year (2 months time), quit the teaching job at the end of this term (December).
Then look for a driving job by the beginning of next year.

Please Is Driving job worth going into?

How many people actually love their job? To be honest, my job isn't so stressful, the pay is good and there is job security. I've worked there for over a decade but I'm still not happy going there every morning.
I don't feel fulfilled. Actually, I admire those who work for themselves, who work at their own pace. Anyway, the question remains, how many people are actually happy doing what they do? I'd love to hear.

I love my job but the salary is nothing to write home about, so I'm quitting soon!
