Where I come from (I'm not Nigerian) we don't stigmatise single women, single mothers, barren women, menopausal women, divorcees, albinos, etc. We do not use people's life circumstances or what others would consider "unfortunate" to mock them, a trait I observe with many Nigerians. People even get to be 60 and unmarried around here. Others marry in their 20s, get divorced, only to remarry while in their 50s. Not a big deal in my country.

For your information, I'm speaking as a foreign woman who's interacted with both Nigerian men and Nigerian women and I can easily tell you that it's mostly the men that ruin the reputation of your country.

While many Naija men are all about living life on the fast lane (casinos, pimping, drugs, reckless sex, etc) with the ashewos of their host countries, your women tend to be very focused. They carry themselves differently. One can easily conclude that parenting in Nigeria is geared towards taming the girls, while letting the boys run wild.

I won't argue with you about whether or not women are emotional.
