Christianity Etc › Re: Six Importants Reasons You Should Seek The God OF Wisdom by femi4: 2:05pm On Dec 13, 2020
jesusjnr2020:
I thought as much but I just wanted to be sure so that I don't respond incorrectly.

The title of the Op was initially about seeking wisdom from God, hence my saying what I said. And it made sense to the Op that he modified it.

If that means i'm trying to complicate things to you, what you should know is that wisdom is not God, so you can get wisdom from God and not get God. Same thing with power.

Hence many have those things but still end up in hell.

You can't end up in hell if you have God.

That's my point.
Not possible. You can't getting ANYTHING from God without a relationship with him

Getting God = Getting his attributes which Wisdom is one of them. You see, there you go complicating simple matter

1Cor1:30

It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God--that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.
Christianity Etc › Re: Lord Of The Sabbath-what Did Jesus Mean Here? by femi4: 1:59pm On Dec 13, 2020
Preciousgirl:
Mark 2:23-24,27-28

[23]Now it happened that He went through the grainfields on the Sabbath; and as they went His disciples began to pluck the heads of grain.

[24]And the Pharisees said to Him, “Look, why do they do what is not lawful on the Sabbath?”

[27]And He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.

[28]Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath.”

What did Jesus mean by this? Thank you
Sabbath was created for man and not otherwise.

Another reason to justify his existence before creation.

In other words: I was there when Sabbath was created and the motive was not just to single out a day not to work but most importantly to do the right thing even on the SABBATH day

Jesus debunked claims by the pharasees that the ultimate reason for having a SABBATH day is rest/not to work.

But the ultimate reason is to keep it HOLY

I don't understand your point.
The point here is you are trying to complicate simple matter. God instruct us to seek his Wisdom

Without his Wisdom, you ll struggle to understand his ways

jesusjnr2020:
Nice but I think instead of seeking wisdom from God, we should seek the God of Wisdom.

Therefore we don't only get wisdom, we also get God and every other thing that God brings with Him.

God bless.
But God is Wisdom. Why do we like to complicate simple matters.

If you don't know him, you can't access any of his attributes

Family › Re: Should I Take Back An Adulterous Wife Because Of The Expensive Bride Price? by femi4: 4:04pm On Dec 12, 2020
Sebastine1994:
i came back from work on Friday to discover that my wife has ran away with our son and some properties in the house, my neighbor said she is a bad woman that I should let her go, they caught her in adultery and she ran away because of shame.

for the first time in my life I discovered that I have not played my role as a husband. I was just focused on bringing back money home for the family and forgot the sexual responsibility, I agree I am at fault too. but if I calculate all the bride price I spent and wedding cost, I feel like going to bring her back. if not for her sake but for the baby, please advice is needed now

she is an igala while I am igbo,
You chased money and you forgot your conjugal duty

Now, you want to bring your wife back cos you spent so much on her bride price.

You need to work on yourself, money seems to be a key in all your decision making

I knew many Nairalanders would come with this blinded by material things line. Let me repeat it, I work in an IOC. Plz use google to check how much IOCs pay their staff and benefits. I drive a finer car and always had to leave my car at the office and we went with his. He even got angry with me many times because I didn’t allow him pay for my rides, since I would rather not drive to his place. I would have dug deep, but money wasn’t the reason I didn’t.

TDHC? Lolzzz
I know you ll come with the "I m comfortable" bla bla bla. Like I said, you got blinded by those material things not because you are not comfortable but because it COMPLIMENTS your status and perhaps his physique as well.

I know your your type, you get carried away easily without paying attention to details

Because marriage doesn’t have a defined age and many things could have happened to delay his marriage plans. Anyway, I asked him that question...why is a 36yrs old good looking comfortable man not married...You can guess his answer.
You were blinded by the material things to dig deep into his past. You got carried away with your dream man checklist "TDHC"

In Africa, especially in this part of the World, age counts

many of us are unaware that there are many generations of Christians in the North.
from Sokoto to Borno, many original indigenes were Christians.
long before Independence, schools, hospitals and other institutions were built and run by locals, govt and missionaries.
- hence the large number of Christian girls in FGGC Chibok.
therefore boko haram knew what they were doing during the kidnappings.

so kindly name the LGAs in states that you know of.
further analysis will take place once this list is compiled.

It's not showing in the internet speed cos the capacity is underutilized
