PoliticsRe: Military Supervising Killing Of Christians In Plateau - CAN Chairman, Daluk by firearcher: 9:26am On Jan 25, 2024
aariwa:
All these people killed were innocent people including women and children who went about their peaceful life like every human being but they were slaughtered for no single reason except that as at today government is not existing in Nigeria. Tinubu does not have anything to offer Nigeria even if you gave him another 30 years. Most Nigerians knew this would happen and the reason nobody voted for him but the bloodshed is going to get worse. A new Nigeria is possible with Peter Obi
The bloodshed WILL NOT get worse. It will get better over time, and its not going to be due to any political messiah. And it will be a collective and united effort by the peoole.
PoliticsRe: Aiyedatiwa Appoints Ex-NASS Clerk, Olaide Adelami As Deputy Governor Of Ondo by firearcher: 4:15pm On Jan 24, 2024
Hope he remembers that he only got there because the former governor died and serve the people with the time he has rather than his own ambition.

As a former deputy, hope he treats his new deputy well. If karma has its way, his deputy will also treat him the same way he treated his former boss. For Ondo peoples sake, I hope its positive.
SportsRe: Lagos State Sets Up AFCON Viewing Centres Across The State by firearcher: 8:17am On Jan 24, 2024
Good initiative. Creates job even if temporary but half a loaf is better than none.
It also creates business opportunities for traders and others in that environment.
We sha don't want to hear later that this cost billions of naira to implement.

Nedu you are wrong. We all know how our parents fared while growing up,sometime they fight, sometimes the argue but still somehow find a way to weather the storm. This generation wants everything easy,no virtue,no patience. The question is,who is that person that will give you that peace you think you are not getting and are you willing to give the peace your partner will demand from you?

The answer is mostly no!.Every marriage has its thorns and flowers. So you must learn to welcome them.
Yet to find any relationship involving human that is not challenging
CrimeRe: Legalize & Democratize Gun Ownership In Nigeria - Activist, Raphael Adebayo by firearcher: 7:48am On Jan 21, 2024
Pipe dream. Country where citizens record are not well kept. How will they document and track gun ownership? How will background checks be carried out? We are not ripe for that even if its an option

PoliticsRe: Ibadan Explosion: CAC Documents Of The Mining Firm Carry Foreign Names - Makinde by firearcher: 8:24am On Jan 18, 2024
Its only a matter of time before they realise that those who owns the company are possibly connected to some politicians or their backers.

Whether they will then have the resolve to see through the investigation to its logical end is left to be seen.

But who knows...

CrimeRe: Abuja Kidnappers Kill Three Of 10 Victims, Jerk Ransom To N700m(picture) by firearcher: 8:53pm On Jan 15, 2024
seborrhic:
A serious president would have called a state security Council meeting or summoned the IGP and DSS DG and in that process it would put the pressure on them.
For kidnappers to deliberately kill victims due to delayed ransome is something new and shows a level of deep anger with the system.
I believe some of the kidnappers were people frustrated by the goverment in one way or the other.
But kidnapping innocent people is just cowardice while at the same time the government should address the suffering in the land which I believe is part of the cause.
There is no excuse to kidnap and murder innocent people. No excuse...
PoliticsRe: How Dangote Refinery Exposed Nigeria’s Shipping Inadequacies by firearcher: 2:21pm On Jan 15, 2024
Its simple. They had no incentive to own such ships before. But now they do. Time for the companies to shore up their capital base and capacity.

Nigeria will be great.
PoliticsRe: NNPC Seeks Private Companies To Operate Port Harcourt Refinery by firearcher: 2:07pm On Jan 15, 2024

Goverment has been running it for years with no headway.Let private companies take over the business of running our refineries.

According to Otedola 'Goverment has no business running business'.
Its a global practice all over the world. At least in non-socialist countries

PoliticsRe: Tinubu Getting Governance Right But Economy Wrong By Farooq A. Kperogi by firearcher: 10:39pm On Jan 13, 2024
There is no shortcut to fixing Nigeria problems. You can't sow and harvest the same day.
What Nigerians needs is a sensitive, trustworthy and genuine government that can reassure them by leading by example that the sacrifice they are making today will in due season, yeild the desired results.

PoliticsRe: Gov. Nwifuru Buys SUVs For All Doctors In Ebonyi General Hospitals (Photos) by firearcher: 11:52am On Jan 12, 2024
Commendable. But what are the terms? Are they free? Would they be paying back in installments?
If a doctor leaves the system, does he leave with it?
And also importantly, how much did these go for? Are they bought at reasonable market price or are they "juicy" contracts created essentially to settle political supporters?
SportsRe: Osimhen Slams Agent Of Napoli Teammate Kvaratskhelia Over Saudi Transfer Claim by firearcher: 7:57am On Jan 11, 2024
jeeqaa7:
Osimhen... focus!
Exactly. Mohammed Ali was able to defeat George Foreman because he got under George's skin by taunting him mercilessly and forced him to make mistakes. This tactic is as old as time,.

Since his success with Napoli, I don't think Osimhen has been himself. His emotional outburst and reactions online hasn't been up there.

His success seems to have attracted more enemies and I think he is not reacting well. To get to the top is hard, but to stay top is even harder. Other top clubs will be watching and following his reactions too.

If Italy or Napoli is too toxic for him now, he should leave asap before they kill his mood and form.

A saying also goes that you don't know the true character of a person until he becomes successful. I also hope he is not allowing his recent success to get to his head.
SportsRe: Osimhen Slams Agent Of Napoli Teammate Kvaratskhelia Over Saudi Transfer Claim by firearcher: 5:01am On Jan 11, 2024
Osimhen needs a PR or media adviser. A well crafted professional response will get the same result and also put him in a positive light.
PoliticsRe: YPP Gives Tinubu 48 Hours To Suspend Interior Minister, Tunji-Ojo by firearcher: 10:48am On Jan 10, 2024
Forumobserver12:
How much progress have we made as a nation? Do you realized that corruption hinders progress? Any country that institutionalized corruption is gone, take it or leave it...
I totally agree that corruption hinders progress. What I don't accept is the absolute notion that the country is gone. You may say the nation is "going", but until it is gone, it is not gone.

America was once a segregated nation where blacks were kept as slave. It took a civil war where hundreds of thousands died, years of protests and activism and sacrifices of people like MLK Jnr. and others to pave the path for someone like Barack Obama.
Even still, many black and white citizens in the US still argue today that American is still institutionally racist (e.g A Sharpton, Xendi, etc). But have they ever given up? Some have, we hear them all the time. But many still believes in working toward the lofty declaration of the US declaration of independence that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, among which are Life, Liberty and pursuit of happiness.

There are people in the trenches in Nigeria still fighting for the soul of this nation. The best we can do is support them by keeping faith and hope alive, and doing our own bit within our sphere of influence.

May I never know anyone comfortable with the chain of poverty and sees those who want a good life for them as having an inferiority complex. Nope. I prefer the good life in the EU and America. I don't want the poverty you have been chained to in Nigeria. If that is an inferiority complex...I still prefer it.

If Nigeria is your own paradise, good luck. Live in gour poverty alone. Good for you. Still..I prefer the live there. Shikena.

Son, I can see you have not travelled out. What a pity. Mehn! What a wasted life you are presently living. Chai.

Stockholm Syndrome at work. You are suffering in Nigeria and defending it. Wow! Some are so unfortunate to come into this world. Wow! The most unfortunate issue is that they don't even want to experience a good life because they have been chained to poverty. Wow!

Nigeria as a land area is not what I am concerned about. I am concerned about you and other people in it. Life expectancy in it is 55 years. Mehn! You are finished.

A beg....don't quote me again. Poverty ....far away from me in Jesus' name. I don't want your "poverty" mentality and the unwillingness to get out of it. A sign of poverty is when you do the same thing over and over with the same failed results. And you keep doing it.

Please.... don't mention me again. I wish you whatever life you get and whatever the result of the hope you are dreaming with the same failed strategy you have been using since 1960.

Poor people are the worst one can try to help. They just love poverty!

Take care!
Lol. Its your type that acquire fake Western accent with 1 hour of travelling out.

Empty barrels make the loudest noise.

Nigeria us not finished and Nigeria will be great.

No point dignifying you with futher response.

Wow! Nigeria has really blocked your brain. Let me try if I can open it.

Do you think those milking Nigeria will let it get to 100% destruction? No way. Cancer kills .....but do you think many in stage 4 feeling the pain want to keep living? Nope. Most want to die so the pain can stop...and it is better. But to keep living in pain..may we not experience it. This is Nigeria. It will not be totally destroyed because the natural resources in it will not dry. Do you think France will let Niger be prosperous? Do you think uranium in Niger will dry?

Guy...when we say Nigeria is finished, we are saying the people in it are finished. They are "walking dead". Your life is hopeless except you get out of Nigeria. How many new cars are in Nigeria? Are you all cursed that you don't deserve a good life like EUs?

We "over-exaggerate" Nigeria's problem? You haven't stepped out of Nigeria so you don't know what is wrong with you. grin You are "walking dead" indeed. What a pity. RIP.
Whoever you are, you don't know me, where I have been and what I know.
Your ranting here only truly betray your level of inferiority complex.

All these countries you tout as your paradise on earth have their myriads of problems and even the citizens of these nations are not holding hands and celebrating their perfect lives.

Some people just love to totally put down Nigeria and overpraise these western nations forgetting that they were not built in a day. Simply because they offer them some benefits Nigeria don't offer.

Nigeria has her problem but she is NOT finished and will get better with time.

Nigeria is finished. It cannot survive this. Never.
Many have been saying this for decades and Nigeria still stands. I get it. They feel hopeless.
But many times we over-exagerate our problems and underestimate our capacity for survival.
