That means you sef haven't 'upgraded' her from seeing her as just a mere date. So e be like she nor too rate you, too, because I understand that partners should be very generous to each other, but I cannot imagine asking for money for body cream, of all things, in just a 3-week-old relationship. When I am a working class woman, no less.

I have dated a lady that even when it wasn't working she never asked from me , I did give her on my on volition, meanwhile, I have dated countless of ladies, even though they are working, they start requesting for money for lunch and data , Even before I toast.

Don't you people do any preliminary 'gauging' before going into relationships?


Anyway, I don't really have much to say. Lemme hope my boo, pansophist, will come and do justice to the matter if he has the time.

A pattern I noticed with most working class ladies have dated from 27yrs old upward.
At the earliest stage, they claim to be tired of relationship, they are fine without a man.
They are doing fine without a man and in fact if not for pressure they don't mind not getting married...(mostly lies)

They say am financially ok without a man, i bought my phone, paid house rent etc without any man and i can never depend on any man hence why they can never be liability since they are working..(mostly lies)

Most claim to be doing fine during the wooing stage but immediately we start dating things turn out differently from what they claim.

Am dating a lady currently who works for a fashion house on the island...During the wooing stage we actually spoke alot for about 2 months and she claimed to be financially ok and doesn't need a man money. Infact she told me how much she paid weekly which is very decent with free accommodation and feeding.

We just started dating not up to 3weeks and this lady have been making demands which I find very childish and too disgraceful for an adult working.
She always complaining of money despite earning above minimum wage weekly.

This morning she called and i didn't pick........I chatted her up and she telling me her cream have finished and i replied hmmmm.
This a pattern have noticed with most working class ladies have dated......they tell you am an independent woman during wooing stage but once relationship start it just seems they are working and not earning with the way they demand and still be pressuring you with marriage talks.

(just want to know if am the only experiencing this or is just normal)

Note: this the fourth time this lady is demanding from me in 3 weeks and they are embarrassing to me for someone who earns.

I didn't believe until I got a call last night from my friend telling me the bride's family want him, to make part payment for the dowry since Nigeria hard now.
My worry, why would they be too desperate to let their daughter go on down-payment.?

I traveled from Lagos to Port Harcourt to see my future in laws family. My girl wasn't around as she's still in Lagos schooling.

I went there with a family member and got them some items like shortcake biscuits and juice.

They offered us food and we ate. After the meeting and normal questioning, we were set to go when surprisingly, this people brought out two loaves of bread and gave us. I told them that the food we ate was enough, that we don't need the bread.

We haven't even gone far when my girl started texting me on WhatsApp angrily asking me why I rejected her mother's gift. That she gave it out of love, this and that.

I told her that bread is the wrongest gift the mother could give me. I am supposed to buy them bread and not the one way round. I intentionally refused to buy bread for them because I assumed bread is an everyday food that people buy and eat, so I decided to go with the package biscuits instead and here they are offering me bread.

If it were something produced locally by them like coconut or something, I can understand but bread?

Please, did I do anything wrong rejecting the bread?

Had deep knowledge about Arabs from my classmates 2 of them one was a Canadian Arab grew up in Saudi Arabia, and another Indian Muslim Hussain, lived in Saudi Arabia all his Life.

I and them were very close in college, we were in same class, same course. We did crazy things lol were like brothers. They call me bro till today

They personally told me about Life in Saudi Arabia Even there personal family ones.

Was from them I knew that females in the family are to only relate with there fathers and brothers.
That even a close friend can't see there mother's or sisters

They don't tolerate female liberation. They believe a woman is to be controlled
Northern Nigeria has same outlook on women

But from what I have seen with our women folk
A woman deserves some kind of control
Those that are left to total liberation turns into something else.

That's why even in my personal family
My parents raised my 5 sisters with strict upbringing, learning to be decent right from primary school
Now they are getting the benefit

2 are doctors, one a consultant doctor. All married and responsible in there homes

There husband's don't play with my family because they were raised well. Even there kids behave well

Unlike some of my sister's friends there set girls some still unmarried till today. There was one I knew, while in the uni, she smokes, drinks, was a happening babe although very intelligent. Today she never marry while her mates children, some don enter secondary School


So having a form of control on a woman is not bad.

That's how I am raising my daughter's. They must learn decency and how to be a Lady even now they are small
Raised very responsibly not in a mean way but guiding them in love and dedication
