Yes o.Imagine they brought one mad roof design to our office lastweek. ROOF WEY BE SAY IF OYINBO see, Him GO SHOCK.We had to reject the design. Most architects would just put down their imagination on paper without thinking of onsite construction.

Nice of you for rejecting the job,it's when construction time come now the BOQ for roof be N7million after analysis , the man go tell people say you and builder done plan to reap him off,

Most of the designs by unseasoned architects (using the term loosely) are unbuildable with concrete.

Right, most designs are amenable to wood build, that's why when you see some foreign architectural designs when built you hardly find flaws ,looks almost exactly like like the architectural design "ab initio

Sorry ooooo. I no understand your statement.

What I actually meant is that by the time you start building "as is" on diagram you will discover some ideas are just good on papers ,but when it comes to doing it on the field experience and maturity counts, especially roof designs are prone to these kind of design flaws

If my fellow African think or acts like monkey, I will say it without reservation that he or she is a monkey
Simple and short without sentiments

Many of our people behave like animals, and that is what you are prevalent in many African communities, animal behaviour, channelling your sewage into the gutter, emptying your garbage in the canal, driving like animals, selfishness and unparalleled greed, hailing people of questionable character, selling your country short for personal and parochial gain, neck deep tribalism and hate among Africans, and the list is endless

Till our people start conducting themselves like humans and not animals, they remain nothing but animals, and I say this without sentiment again

You guys can insult me all you want, but compare the quality of comments and topics you see in say Reddit or Quora; and compare it with the garbage here in this forum, and that will give you an insight into how a good chunk of our people reason

Shame.

So what are you still doing in the forum, why not take a leave!

Thanks OP
Who is to blame for the floods in Nigeria, The Government who constructed little or no drainage systems or The Citizens who refused to clean up their surroundings?
It's too sad that many of our loved ones get caught up in it every single day...just September and it's that bad, remember we still have two more months of heavy rain before harmattan.
Brace yourselves and watch this repeat again in 2018, 2019, 2020...cos it will.

Nice write-up from the OP,

To your question we are all to blame, dirty habits and government at all levels not doing anything to improve the road and drainage system in the state of Benue

It is a shame that Human Beings have created a tribe out of the Earth languages, the machine languages used in alchemistry of creations, which must be spoken into existence has become subject of hope, now you have created a tribe out of a language you have no idea how it was created.

Let me ask you this. Which organ in your body is only found in yorubas and is not found in Igbos, Ijaws, Hausas, Tiv etc ? You see, superiority of race based on population is an illusion. An illusion you created because of population which is a result of uncontrolled sexualism. Yes, marrying many and having multiples of wives and kids just everywhere is what increases population. I am right. So, cast your mind back to the strata of humans that multiply most and reason with me friend. I am not here to cast an aspersion against any tribe, after all my tribe has less than 1m people in this country, but in order to make sure I can proof that my tribe is superior to yours, I must introduce you to programming.

Python is a great programming language, and most of lethal webwares are coded using this language. If something is hard and rare and great, it is considered superior. It is creation of scarcity to increase the value. So, if there was a tribe called Pythona, that speaks the programming language called python, they will be superior race. All these grammar means that my tribe is superior by virtue of scarcity of programmers on my language. But I will not come here and promote superiority of my tribe above others, because I am not stupid. I didnt create my language so I can not judge people based on tribe.

I am to judge people based on the content of their characters. Not their family's character, not by tribe, but by their individual character which is forged by their experiences in and through life.

If you would like me to help you through therapy and rehabilitation to free you from tribalism, let me know, I really want to help purge you minions of your bias.

YOUR CHARISMA REFLECTS HOW A TRUE NIGERIA SHOULD BE,TRUELY WE SHOULD BE JUDGED BASED ON OUR CHARACTER NOT TRIBE,

Politics / Re: There Is A Word Called Prebendalism by Flaghouse1: 11:30am On Sep 01, 2017
baike:
There is a word called Prebendalism

That word is the reason why the DSS is building a multi billion Naira sensitive security facility in a porous border state like Katsina instead of a more central location.

It is the reason why Katsina got 51 slots in the DSS recruitment.

It is the reason why a rail line is heading to Daura.

Prebendalism is the reason why most hometowns of past state governors are more developed in terms of road networks than other places of the state.

Prebendalism is the reason why we have now legalized zoning in our politics so that every zone must have the opportunity to chop.

Prebendalism is an inevitable byproduct of our skewed unitary political arrangement.

Prebendalism was the reason why people say Jonathan was stupid for not opening up the South South. Prebendalism is the reason why Buhari must not be as stupid like Jonathan.

Prebendalism is the reason why Tony Osborg must award contracts to his girlfriends, friends, university course mates, in-laws, tribes men, etc if he becomes a state governor or president. You want them to abuse me when I leave office? Prebendalism is the reason why I must loot money as a politician so that 'my people' can benefit from my being a politician.

We cannot stop prebendalism without first restructuring our political structure.

Prebendalism is the reason why some persons want an Igbo man to become president after Buhari so that Biafra agitation can die while Igbos chop their own share of the national cake.

Prebendalism is one strategy we have used to keep the contraption called Nigeria as one by rotating the looting spree.

If you want prebendalism to end, then you must support the restructuring of Nigeria.

Until then, wait for your turn to chop or keep talking. I will keep talking while waiting for my turn to chop since we do not want to restructure.

Try to visit the hometown of your past or present state governor and you will understand what I am talking about.

Prebendalism is the foundation

So what is Prebendalism

The only disconnect in achieving the "desired change" that will bolster development is that there is no powerful force to make this change happen for now,the state will perpetually continue to be runned as an emirate.

you are forgetting the cost of daily feed which takes up close to 75% of this daily income

First the #7.5M ,cost of feeding would have been incorporated for a certain period, mind you also my egg production revenue was based on 20 days production per month, we still have 10 days production which should be able to take care of feeding since at a stage in the life cycle the feeding cost would be reduced.

However a good financial model will show you that the venture is profitable as all parameters would have been taken into consideration, trust me it's worthwhile, what people are looking at now is for him to start reaping profit immediately, forgetting that he has to break even ,then come the profit , I will see if I have the time to put it in model,

There are many individuals and organizations that make it a point of habit to help out the less privileged and those in acute need, no matter the location. They have been and will continue doing so, be it in North Eastern Nigeria, Sudan, East Asia or USA. That Nigeria is reportedly poor does not mean the inhabitants are eating sand.
In life some chose to sit and wail, while others prefer to live above the economy of their immediate environments.

Your philosophy of life is commendable,it's really in our nature as humans to help others in distress, but looking at this situation the distance is may be a hindrerance to achieve immediate solution to some of their basic needs at time like this, when we had similar situation here in Lagos what help was provided for the poor masses of lekki Ajax axis either by individuals or government I am not talking of people living in VGC and other posh estates within that locale , other poor people were affected by the flood , you only get to see videos and pictures of VGC ,Victoria island flooding the scrap media, till date I have not heard of any assistance rendered to the middle class in that local.
