Hungry Labour party will simply takes Peter Obi's money. I don't know who is advising this man. He is politically naive. So for his mind, he thinks say him go fit win the presidency ![]() |
He should go and sit down. I don't know why Peter Obi thought he could get the ticket or win the presidential election? Who are the people giving this man hope? His online supporters do not have PVC. He should have stepped back from the PDP primary only instead of his outright resignation from the party. His political career is dead. He has lost everything already. PDP will not call him back neither will Atiku consider him. Atiku may pick Wike, Anyim or someone from the South West as VP |
Fight for politicians at your own peril. I may not vote in 2023 going by the people that would be on the ballot papers. It's not a must to vote if I am not comfortable with the candidates. My not voting is a form of protest. This may have been the game plan of Atiku and Tambuwal |
Honestly, I dont understand the frenzy from West and America to attack peace loving Russian citizens and their businesses and interests because of Putin. They should have focused on Putin and leave unarmed citizens and their businesses alone. If this owner fails, the fans will come really hard on him and Boris Johnson. I dont get the idea behind seizing private business because their home government is at war with another country. Something that has not happened before. |
Menh:None - Must it be an oil and gas Why do most youths have this impression that you must work in oil and gas to be successful? The position opened for people with your qualifications in oil and gas is limited and fiercely competitive, usually filled through recommendation and networking. Please broaden your horizon towards other sectors like Consulting, NGOs, FINTECH and other multinationals. Or better still, as someone rightly pointed out, re-purpose and retool yourself and career towards exit from this country. |
Peter Obi, you are a good person but the current political landscape is not suited for your kind. How do you expect to win the presidential election by the social media support and and love? Building alliances and structure helps with political success in Nigeria. You have none. You seems to be going around this project alone. Please don't preach integrity to us. Nigerian politicians, which you are one, have none. You all are the same. Just that some are more corrupt than others. Buhari preached integrity and frugality to us to win the election but see where we are now. On Wike, that one does not even know what having character and integrity entails. So shallow minded |
Opposition parties usually Waits for the ruling party to present its presidential candidate first. I don't know the reason why PDP earlier wanted to do theirs before APC. Just a day to their scheduled convention, INEC extended submission of list by six days. INEC that had been tough and stubborn in agreeing to change of date now suddenly agreed. PDP did the right thing by postponing theirs as well. Let the mind games begin. The best bet would be for PDP and APC to hold their convention the same day. It will be sweet and heightens the suspense. The way last matches of tournaments are played the same day. Anyway, PDP and APC are not the solution to Nigeria's problems. We need a potent third force. As it is now, I am not inclined to vote for any of the top contenders from the two parties. |
Oga, if serving him would enable you get what you want to progress, please serve him with all humility and respect. Dont mind what people are saying. I had one guy then with Trans ocean oil and gas then, 26 years of age and had one of his distance relatives of his that was about 31 years, living with him and learning Oracle at IIT, Ikeja. His senior cousin literally worshiped him and respected him, washed his car and went on errands for him. The Trans-ocean guy paid for that his cousin's one year masters in Computer science at the University of Birmingham, UK because of his dedication and seriousness with his IT study. The cousin later moved to Canada and completed his PhD in Immersive technology. He is doing very well now, more than the Trans ocean guy that helped him, whose company later left Nigeria and he started struggling somehow. |
Gandollaar:He must Run - Jonathan, you must run. I saw his poster with the above caption - "You must run". Run go where? |
Once you begin here all these "technical error" this and that, they have started their manipulation |
I dont know who is deceiving this man and giving him this hope? Because he is enjoying some media attention from middle class Nigerians and he thought he could win the presidency without wanting to spend money. He simply does not understand how the Nigerian political landscape works. He seems to be over estimating himself. Peter Obi is the best candidate but he seems too rigid. I wonder how he thought that he could go it alone to pursue his ambition. |
Hahahaha - See the number of people praying and wishing to be like the OP My people, na so una take hate this country!!!! ![]() Everybody wan japa from this country. I do not know why i have not caught this Japa bug but the thing has infected my wife. I no go lie |
Abassmt:There are lots of Yorubas that do not like APC and the kind of politics in Lagos, especially the upwardly mobile class Yorubas. A lot of them are pushing for Peter Obi because of his perceived integrity and ability to manage the economy. I can tell you that most Yorubas are progressive and will always follow the path of integrity and progressive ideas more than primordial sentiments, tribes and religion. |
I knew he was not going anywhere. Even the vice he was pressing to get has been taken away from him. It is not that he is not good, but the Nigerian politics is not suited for his kind. He is not just withdrawing from the presidential primaries, he is also withdrawing from the party, indicating that he was pained beyond marrow by the action of his party. The party has narrowed down to Atiku and Wike, the two men with the necessary war chest. This is the opportunity for APC to woo the SE. The region must be bitter because of the action of the PDP. |
Why are people giving this idiot attention He should be ignored |
Jonadafff!! Cluelessness written over all his face. |
Amaechi and Orji Uzor Kali deceived this man. Imagine if he had remained in APGA and mounted strong opposition against Ikpeazu administration, he would have gotten APGA ticket and cruise to victory. He was too impatient and thought that those two APC stalwarts would help him take over the party. His political career is dead. |
Ogbonnaya Onu is a very daft politician. Despite his brilliant academic achievements in his days, he seems clueless like his boss and not in tune with modern technology and development. Do you know what it means to be a federal minister of science and technology of a country? You develop policies and programs with capacity to catapult your country into a modern technology-driven economy. But in his case, he is too daft, reserved, crude, not futuristic, backwards in thinking and lacks the demeanor of a scientist . If indeed, he is the anointed Buhari's candidate, then Buhari no get taste at all. |
If true, he would be gone within the next five years. NOVICHOK nerve agent is coming for him courtesy of Russian KGB and Putin |
wizdapilla:Good question ![]() My love for catfish pepper-soup and white ofada rice or ordinary rice. |
SensualMan:See your thinking ?From the look of things, SE may not even see VP slot in the next ten years. The zone is becoming politically dead and weak. Anybody can win the presidency without SE |
Ohhh God I just felt like crying after reading this story but did not why. What an inspiring story. i Just wished that their sights could be restored for them to see the smiles and love in their eyes. Beautiful couples. |
gentiles:See them!! They have started again. That is how you bring enemity to your region. Yorubas as it currently stands has the best chances of producing the president. The odd is seriously stacked against SE and you are here talking rubbish. Yorubas elders have been on the forefront of campaigning for the president to come from the SE. During the unfortunate civil war, the Yoruba technocrats and human right advocates were at the forefront of winning sympathy for the secessionist Biafra. You keep seeing Yorubas as your problems without looking inwards to see that your problems and that of SE as a whole are self-made and organic in nature. This thread has nothing to do with the Yorubas but your stupid ignorance combined with unwarranted hatred dragged Yorubas into discussion that has nothing to do with them. Make una dey reason abeg. If you want to attack me, go ahead. Some of us from SE with sense will continue to speak out about the stupidity of our region. |
God help our police force. Those Okada riders will just target them and trace them to their homes and kill them. Those Okada riders are not humans. Some of them are terrorists on bike. |
successmatters:Wawa boy!!! Will you shut up!! Who is envying Enugu? Must you see everything from the prism of "we" against "them"? Please change your wacked mentality. See your long post and you ended up saying nothing. |
iCauseTrouble:See them!! That is how you people talks and distances other Nigerians from supposedly good candidate from SE. Threat and sense of entitlement will not bring the presidency to SE. Build bridges and alliances and eschew bitterness and entitlement mentality. You have to negotiate power. You do not demand for it. |
See petty traders trying to eke out a living in their wheelbarrows. Those of you here still supporting this monster, it shall surely visit you at an unexpected hour. Bunch of ignorant idiots. |
Vulturereloaded:They do not know that one. Most of them will be here shouting Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Access Bank for example had to close down some of their branches in the SE. When they acquired Diamond bank, they allowed both banks branches to be operating at the same time, even when they are on the same street. I have seen scenarios of this in Lagos, where you have the old access bank branch and the defunct Diamond branch, with their iconic Diamond logo operating on the same street. However, Access have now chosen to close down some of the duplicating branches in the East. I am sure the insecurity and uncertainty is fueling that decision. SE have not witnessed any foreign direct investment (FDI) since Peter Obi partnered with the foreign owners of International Breweries, makers of Hero, the popular beer in the SE to invest in the state |
This is one of the most stupid thing to do. Praising tax payers for their obligation to the country. Well, in a country where people and entities pays zero to nothing as tax, what do you expect. Even my own effective tax rate may be higher than all these mentioned corporations. But since they are companies with big war chest, they are recognized. One of the biggest hindrances to tax compliance in Nigeria is corruption and trust. Citizens do not see their government as an accountable government. When you see how the way elected and appointed leaders lives their lives and loot the country, the disincentive to pay tax diminishes. People will not want to pay taxes when they know that the leaders are going to loot the money. |
It is just a matter of time. It is not about the government. It is about the people. Their ways of life and value system. Their mentality of public property. The mentality and perception of government's property is the worst in Nigeria. |
I can tell you for free that if this house was owned by a northerner, FCTA wouldn't have demolished it. |
Dennis3D:This is something I would love to see the finished product. |
