NaijaRoyalty:If Gani was alive, Tinubu and APC won't find it funny. Bubu would have used DSS on him. |
hmohammed:Use of overhead tank for home water storage is very common in Israel and middle East and certainly not in one of most developed cities in the world - Prague, Czech Republic |
ike007:It was on a whatsapp status of my friend's cousin. My friend showed me his phone to see his cousin that relocated to Prague. His cousin posted it on his whats app status. I looked at the picture on the phone and sighted the GP overhead tank. |
mangood74:Smart guy!! I like people that use the common vegetation and natural environment of place to decode an area. One guy snapped picture of a very beautiful area in Abuja and told us that he was in Prague, the capital of Czech republic. The picture looked so foreign with the caliber of buildings and aesthetics around the area. In the picture, I sighted one overhead tank at the back one of the beautiful and foreign-look alike building. Boom!!! I told my friend, omo, your cousin is in Nigeria o! See that overhead tank. Take it from me, and truly, it was discovered that the guy man was in Abuja. |
As expected. Conservative UK is not yet ready for non white Caucasian Prime Minister. This woman that slept with her mentor even while still married |
If it was Nigeria, few months, touts, agberos, agbo sellers and omoniles would have occupied the under the bridge. |
KINGBEN1:It's just that our cities are not well planned with pedestrian walk ways. There is nothing wrong with walking long distances. I did it in UK. We are simply too lazy and would look poor in the eyes of the people when we treck or walk. We would rather enter bike to move. I like the decision of LASG. The sanity I saw on the road yesterday was encouraging. The whole okota road, isolo and okota environs were devoid of okada menace. Kids could now cross the road without the fear of stupid incoming okada that doesn't observe road rules. We need sanity on our roads and streets. In coming years, keke may even be banned. |
Righteousness2:SMH |
LordLugard1:Good points. The South is not united Some people in the South will rather sabotage SE from having extra State. I do not want to sound sectional, but the imbalance in the number of local governments between North and South is unacceptable. Look at Lagos with the huge population, having just 20 LGA while some vast arid lands in North have more local governments without much visible human habitation |
I just watched it on BBC. It seemed poorly scripted. The VP is facing criminal charges and could do anything to divert media attention and win public sympathy. Anyway sha, the assassination may be real but I just don't believe it to be so. |
First time in recent times that PDP is attacking APC. All the parties have been busy attacking Peter Obi, forgetting themselves |
And his lieutenant was slaughtered like a goat at mile 12. For them, life goes on if any of them dies. |
Isolo/ Ejigbo!! You sure say this one go work Fight go dey o. If you see the volume of okadas moving out from Ejigbo to Cele or through mushin road every day, you go fear. For me, I like wetin LASG dey do. I know say many people would be negatively affected. One man with three kids close to my church is an okada rider in Ire Akari Isolo, feeding his family from that work. |
The building looks modern and contemporary. Unlike the useless structures usually built by TETFUND in government owned tertiary institutions |
My cousin said no be only block votes, na stone dust votes join. I don laff tire. ![]() But seriously, Tinubu is still the top contender in this election going by Nigeria's voting pattern. Most voters do not vote on ideologies or principles. Most vote based on sentiments, money or any where belle face. |
Born2conquer:This is any builders worst nightmare. Honestly, I sympathize with you. I felt into the same dilemma last year on my own property after sinking so much money into the build to my taste. Madam/ my wife, told me that she was no longer seeing any future again in Nigeria and wants to relocate abroad. She has been on this relocation thing since the past five years but I was holding her. I still prefer my kids to have some basic Nigerian foundation. However, the relocation thing just clicked for her and I was in dilemma concerning my house since it was meant for family. Two bedroom duplex completed at the back of the main house (though the outside was yet to be painted) for us to move in and continue with the interior work of the four bedroom duplex in front that was meant to house the family and I would rent out the two bedroom duplex behind that we were to occupy initially after moving into the main house in front My brother, I had to change style since my family wont be staying again in Nigeria. We redesigned the front house to accommodate for self contain and mini flats. We got about eight in total. Luckily, where the staircase was placed in the duplex was in an excellent position. It would serve as a staircase for the tenants that would occupy the upper floor. An agent heard that I wanted to rent my completed back duplex at the back and came and inspected it. He told him that he would be back later. By evening, he came with two people that seems to have come back to Nigeria from foreign country, based on their dressing and accent. They inspected and said they would like to take it. I was actually looking for at least N1.3m a year for the two bedroom based on the quality of the interior that I did. I told them N1.5m, they accepted and I collected two years. I have not started the demarcation of the front house into mini flats and self-contain as I still want to sort out some outstanding family issues that requires lots of fund. The remodeling into mini-flats would be another set of costs on its own. It is always terrible when you are not sure what to do with your build. I will advice you take your time to make your plans; survey the area whether it would be commercially viable and then demarcate into self-cons. You can never go wrong with properties in Nigeria. That rent I collected for the back house created another impression in my mind about rented apartment. One could actually get some supporting income from rented apartment and support himself, at least with feeding. All the best bro!! It is always painful looking at your non-earning assets wasting away. |
KolaShangOne:Looks simple, elegant and foreign like Eguns CASA house. This is how most homes abroad looks, the paint used and the simplicity. The owner should not fill the space with furniture and clutter the spaces. Well done. |
Putin never liked this man. He is not his type person. Putin preferred hard core men. That is why Putin said that the collapse of the Soviet Union was the biggest mistake of the 20th century. If Putin was the president of the Soviet Union, the union would not have collapsed. He would have used all means possible to keep the Union together, even in the midst of blood bath |
Energy transition my foot ![]() Africa should leave this Oyibo people and this their energy transition. We have lots of problems in Africa that needs to be tackled than this over-hyped climate change and energy transition. The West used cheap fossil fuels and coal to power their economies from 10th to 18th centuries, even up to 21st century. They now want Africa to follow them and give tentative dates for migration from their own God given fossil fuel resources to more expensive renewable energy. |
See the weapon sef - that improvised gym weight lift did the job |
Honestly, this current finance minister is the most uninspiring finance ministers I have ever seen. She hardly makes any economic sense and avoids World Economic Forum or any international finance/economic forums like a plaque. Her own is just to sit down in Abuja and be approving nonsense and defending nonsense. Kemi Adeosun seems far better. |
Nigerian ladies in Canada and YouTube videos are like bread and butter. Inseparable! Always telling the same story, same format and same message. The boredom seems real! |
fabulousfay:Looks good. The fibres makes it more appealing and good for the digestive system. |
Zonefree:This generalisation is too bad. Where did you get this your statistics from ![]() Show some respect to the female folks. We abuse them a lot on this forum. It's just too disrespectful to make this kind of allegation without substantial proof. |
I love this. Mostly happens in Nigeria. Everything is shrouded in secrecy. Some advertisers won't even mention the name of the company. You will hear, " our client, a reputable player in the financial sector". Go to "indeed" or "monster" or foreign recruitment agencies, you will see the name of the company and salary range, with conditions of the employment well stated. |
This Nduka Obaigbana is a crowd puller any time, any day. Highly connected dude. When I was still in the bank, the guy came to our head office and the MD of the bank went down stairs to receive him. |
dalongjnr:There was a WhatsApp message from the presidency wishing him success before the match. ![]() |
Lovexme:My hatred for them is on another level. Last week, they pounced on the driver taking me to the airport close to ajao estate. The driver drove pass the "STOP" line mark at traffic light and they immediately swooped on him, dragging him out like a criminal. The poor driver had to cough out close to N35k to pick his car from their oshodi office. |
Lastma go chop some magas. Some may not be informed about the traffic situation and would go against it. Lastma don't direct people, they will rather wait for you to make mistake and be arrested. |
I don't bother eating in a hotel that I am lodging. I usually go out and have my food. Nigerian hotels sees customers as magas that needs to be milked. |
This is exactly what I want now. My appetite has been down since Tuesday because of fatigue induced malaria. I have not been able to eat well but this looks inviting. Channah, please call me. ![]() |
They were able to make a safe descent. Kudos to them. Some pilots would have been in disarray on waking up, not knowing what to do. |
