All these pastors and motivational speakers are not always fair to Nigerian youths and job seekers. We may have everything - good grade, made the effort, press the buttons, prayed hard and yet, Nigeria will still do you. It is not about possessing the right qualification, the system sometimes, conspire to make your efforts to be wasted efforts. The country and its business environment is simply not employment and job friendly. |
Honestly, I have never had any incidence to change my tyre myself. The near incidence I had was coming from Ajah towards lekki phase one. I had a puncture as I was getting close to the House on the rock church. I brought out my tools to do the unthinkable. As I was looking to know where to start from, two young boys of about twelve years appeared and collected the tools. They worked together, removed the punctured tyre. One even had to use his weight to let the spanner rotate properly to remove the screws. I really felt sorry for the young lads because of the current economic situation. I had to ask them to follow me to the nearby ATM as I didn't just want to give them the little money on me. I wanted something bigger and they really showed their appreciation, kneeling down and thanking me. They are the real street hustlers not scammers. |
SOCHDESIGNS:That's if you are having one corner window just below the beams. How do you do it when you want to have like two or three corner windows in the same vertical direction, just below each other without having any column at that corner |
SOCHDESIGNS:Well explained. Could there be a situation where you won't see columns at corner windows and still have openings for the corner windows? I love the beauty that corner windows brings to building |
All these stupid southern politicians are consulting Buhari for blessing and he continue to give them his blessings while their Northern counterparts are busy strategizing without even thinking of visiting the president. E go una, North will retain the presidency |
More fire, Mr. Ekpa. I want the ignorant supporters to feel the impact and direct their anger towards the idiot. Lucking down a whole economy! Could you imagine Some unemployed youths, who have nothing to loose will be hear supporting this kind of behavioiur.I like the way FG is following this sit-at-home. No comment. Just silence and ignore them. Nothing pains a person when you ignores him or her despite his effort at attracting your attention. |
SmartPolician:You are right regarding his contribution to charity cause. I do not know if he funds any charity like most billionaires in US. Anyway, it is his money. He can do whatever he wants with it. If Trump had succeeded with bullying Tiktok, Musk would have bought Twitter |
oz4real83:Based on what I watched on NatGeoWide, especially Simon Keys program, "Snake in the city", anytime he wanted to extract venom, he opens the snake's mouth and puts the upper fangs in a cup and press its head. I hardly see him press the neck. It is the head that he presses and the venom will trickle from the upper fangs inside the little container. |
See how the head is swollen and filled with venom |
Beautiful design. I love the design. The parapet and roof are heavy. The reason for all the columns. The design is a blend of contemporary and traditional bungalow design. Well done |
Hello madam, if you are the one, I beg you, tell your husband not to take that risk. You can continue with your teaching in Nigeria while he goes there to survey the environment. All these African countries are Sitholes when it comes to economic prospects. Except if you have huge reserve of cash to set up a new business without much local competitors |
I am in discussion with a supervisor for a fully funded PhD program in Canada. If successful, I would take the offer and still be shuttling between Nigeria and Canada. I don't want to abandon my consultancy job and Nigeria altogether. My intention is still to remain here in Nigeria after the program. The PhD is to help beef up my profile. Nothing like home. |
I wish like going to my village. Honestly, our villages should now Start being a tourist destination. The farm looks like my "mama nnukwu's mbu-bo" then. Meaning, "Grandmother"s mini backyard farm". Then, we could pluck anything, ranging from vegetables, cassava, pear, Mango, orange and guava. That place is no more as the mini farm has been taken over by gigantic houses. Anambrarians will understand better |
CrestMan:You are correct. But my use of "rightist" here was to connote the human rights groups and those that champion the cause of humanity, not that i meant far-right. Even the human right groups are equally part of the leftist establishment anyway |
God bless my Dad God bless me also for following in the dictates and values inculcated in me by my Dad God bless my child to listen to me and follow on my footsteps and improve on it even better. That is how family values and systems are transferred from one generation to another. May we all continue to increase in wisdom and knowledge. |
abobote:I like him for that - He has always been against the establishment and mainstream positions on things. Banning those players is not the best thing to do. Those Russian players had individually condemned the invasion and playing with their Ukrainian counterpart should have been an opportunity to promote unity and peace. But as usual, everybody would wants to pander to the mood of the rightist groups and mainstream public opinions. Wimbledon organizers are no exception. |
See his shapeless body, bulging tummy and ugly face Nigerian politicians could be annoying. He should just keep quiet. |
The next Grammy award anchor and host. ![]() If you try any nonsense, you go collect. He is not called " Iron Mike Tyson" for nothing. I knew it would be a white man that would do that kind of upsetting Imagine stalking the man after several warning and ended up throwing used bottled water at him. |
Just imagine if this guy was not Englishman. He would have been roasted alive since. Being a son of the soil has been his luck, if not, with his current run of form, one crazy fan would just enter pitch and stab him. |
If you are ready to bear the cost of replacement, remove the roof and the cable wire that was used in connecting light to the compound. If you have pumping machine that pumps water for the tenants, remove it. Let your Engineer mobilize fictitious men to the place in the name of carrying out renovation. A Landlord did in my area and it worked. Nigerians are simply too difficult. |
The most effective weapon given to Ukrainian army till date is the British anti tank hand-held launcher. That anti tank launchers have succeeded in destroying lots of Russian tanks from long range. I watched where that anti tank launcher was used and i was amazed. You will see the Russian tank trying to dodge the incoming missile from the launcher, the missile will be following the Russian tank and be doing zig-zag movement till it hits target. |
Nigeriaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!! ![]() Who did we offend bikonu ?Well, exact same way government spends money to send people to Jerusalem and Mecca to pray for peace and good governance in Nigeria. ![]() |
In as much as this kind of thing happens in other climes, my prayer has always been NOT to be in a situation where i will need the intervention of the Nigerian State or State actors or Agents to save my life. |
EgunMogaji2:Nawao, e no dey hard, person don reach roofing stage for bungalow. Well done. My next build will be bungalow, honestly. |
Fantastic work bro. I love the layout and design of this 2 bedroom flat. Very spacious and well ventilated, especially the large living room |
Start with the one that offers sure money, the 100k job. Don't be deceived by the awon entrepreneurs. Nigeria's business environment is unforgiving and harsh. |
The headline was even confusing. I thought Abukar Idris was the mother that died. Verbal reasoning is one of the major assessment criterias for jobs and entrance examinations. |
This is even an opportunity for any serious politician to make a move and enter the race. Nigeria's political landscape is unpredictable. Let the person contest and take the second position, make trouble, noise and later gets compensated. If he wants, he could challenge the process that brought Sanwo Only in court. |
My Anambra and lavish burial ceremonies!!See how they decorated the coffin and the table like that of wedding, where the bride and the groom cut their wedding cake. |
It is easier to join NATO than EU. EU criteria are very stiff and difficult. You must fulfill certain conditions and be seen to be working towards free market economy, elimination of corruption and other economics indicators Turkey has been a member of NATO but still struggling to fulfill the EU ascension requirements. EU will never accept Ukraine on a platter of gold. They will have to follow the EU laid down procedures. Zelensky is just using sentiments and emotions to sway EU towards accepting them into the block. EU will never lower their standards to accommodate Ukraine or else they will be setting a dangerous precedent. Dutch and Irish presidents have already rejected any accelerated membership consideration for Ukraine and said that due processes have to be follow and potential for good economic growth seen in Ukraine to avoid Ukraine dragging the block behind. |
That St. Paul's letter to the Corinthians: "If Christ has not risen from dead, then our faith is in vain". The above is the very essence of Christianity. |
