Private security organization's in Nigeria are worst in terms of staff welfare. Very heartless. You will see their Ogas in SUVs and porch suites but hardly pay as at when due. My Oga told the security company that guards his company and his house that he must pay his boys within 3 days after receiving their monthly fee from my Oga.

Since that time, they have been consistent with paying those guards. The one that scattered our head one time was when my client then paid those security guards Christmas bonus from his pocket. Their security company withheld the December salaries because the security guards have collected bonus from the company they are guarding.

Nigerians at all levels could be heartless, selfish and inconsiderate at times.

Nigerian universities and their penchant for awarding titles to political office holders. I am sure there are many other eminently qualified lecturers that have been teaching and publishing first rated research in learned journals, but the University will turn blind eyes to their efforts simply because they are not in good books with VC and senate.

The company(in this case the wages commission) is still the one paying.But what these senators and reps do is put in the names of those whose account the salary would go to as their official aides,then employ the actual workers who are then paid a percentage of the salary by the official receivers.
The other scheme is employing actual workers who are also the official account name bearers but tell them they will be remitting a good percentage of their salaries to the senators/reps.
No matter how they do it, Nigerians will be corrupt when they enter into office because the system is corrupt from top to bottom.
It's a hopeless situation and those now condemning these people would do exactly the same are they to be in their position.

So sad. Corruption has been elevated to an official level. I know what I face with regulators, FIRS, CBN, DPR for my clients.

When my uncle was at the peak of his career, his company was paying his driver, cook, security guard and personal assistant. He wasn't given the money to pay them. Though he had the right of first refusal on whom to hire as aide.

I fully support the States governments on this matter. My fear is that some Southern governors would soon chicken out. Even the Lagos State that is making noise now would soon bow to FG because it is an APC state.

States should be able to control their VAT receipts and not FG. Beer and Alcoholic companies makes huge VAT from Anambra state and remit the money to FG instead of Anambra State, were the consumption of the Alcohol took place.

North should start charging VAT on sale of Agricultural produce as well and retain the money. That's how it should be.

Finishing should not always look luxurious, a HOME should feel like a HOME, When your home feel like a home… you won’t see any big deal in lodging in hotels (except for meetings or when you travel to another state)

These may look good to some people. But for me, it would be as if I am under heavy loads. Looking at these ceilings may even cause me headache. I love my ceilings to be straight, plain with fine details.
