I understand you OP. But from the look of things, you seems like a strict person and a micro manager. Your wife's behaviour is not different from mine when it comes to money and giving it freely to people. I will struggle to give her money and at the end, some of the money will end up with people who are most in need of her mercy, even though she is not working. I ignore and move on. If I start business for her in future, I am sure she would use half of her income to do 'Christmas' for people. She just got short-listed for the Npower program and she had alreaady promised her sister that was not short-listed N10k every month from the supposedly 30k that would be paid her. She didn't consider how she would relieve me of family expenses, though she helps with little she has or whenever her rich relatives gives her money. I don't bother myself about all these because I want to have a peaceful home. OP, please free her, be her teacher and mentor. Guide her, don't intimidate her and she would come to love you more and more. Show concern to her and be her counsellor. Don't see yourself as the owner and ultimate decision maker. Marriage requires patience, tact and understanding. Focus more on other important things that matter to you and once in a while, carry out checks and audit of her business and advises where necessary. As the leader of the home, patience is key. I always tell young men to be patient with their wives and serve as a guide. She will always cherish you. My wife was very young when I married her. Just 22 years and she has grown under my tutelage and it is a continuous thing. So, please lead her and points out areas you need her to improve on in total love without being mean, demanding and authoritarian. |
clerkent:Before logging into the biometric app, it requested for the application ID not email and password. That page you posted, did you delete that NPWR to put your email? |
kopell:Don't read or see it from the prism of Naira and kobo or dollar and penny. For some people, the comfort of living in a civilised society cannot be traded for anything. As a graduate student, I lived in St. Andrews, UK for three years, working as a social worker. I wasn't rich but I was comfortable, living within minimum wage, with comfortable accommodation, access to basic necessities and assured security. Sometimes, people look beyond financial success in their quest to live abroad. All those colleagues I mentioned are not rich in Canada. Some left their owned duplexes here in Nigeria for two bedroom basement apartment in canada. Some are currently doing warehouse and county jobs and are yet to break into corporate canada. You can never take away the peace and comfort the state of canada offers to its citizens and residents. |
Zule:My wife is getting the same error message. She tried using her email and password also but the same thing. She couldn't delete the NPWR to input her email. She then used her application ID and the password of her mail as the password, the same error message |
EgunMogaji2:The current situation of the country, politically and economically have made some of us that have decided to stay to look stupid and insane. Family, friends and former colleagues have kept asking what I and my family are still doing in Nigeria. But everybody cannot run away. As at the last count, I have 19 of them, former colleagues in Canada now. People don run comot finish for this country. Every graduate or youth major concerned is how to leave the country. It has never been bad like this. |
EgunMogaji2:Could it be business gone wrong or from competitors? That was a pure assassination. I read this story. The death must surely be business related. These traders could be mean and brutal when it comes to settling scores. |
It is gradually coming home. Let the supporters of violence continue with their stupidity. The much anticipated Anambra airport will not see the light of the day as the violence in the areas ramps up and their useless supporters continue to wallow in ignorance. You think that people will risk their lives to fly from Lagos, Abuja or overseas to Anambra? There has not been any major foreign direct investment in the East in the last 7 years and the people think that things are normal. Graduate unemployment has reached a record level there and most of the people from the zone are trooping into Lagos and Ogun state seeking for employment. Buying and selling is seen as a hubby over there, which does not create large scale employment. Development is usually the first casualty of violence and those supporting it would be affected one way or the other. Those causing violence in the East should be called to order. There is no reason to support them as violence in whatever disguise will not solve any problem. Agreed that this current FG is a total failure, patience should be exercised as their exit is less than 2 years from now. |
Northernblood3:You are the most stupid person I have ever seen on Nairaland. So, a Nigerian can not come to Owerri again? This food you all are cooking, when it is done, I hope you would gladly eat it. Stupid set of ignorant people. Continue deceiving yourselves. It is your region that would be destroyed completely. I pity your folks making their living outside the SE. |
goatgoat093:All these are not necessary. I don't know why you guys have made chest beating a hubby. The southwest you are castigating is playing host to a lot Igbo owned businesses that cannot survive in Igbo land. The SW still control and host 70% of Nigeria corporate business and one of the most developed regions in Nigeria according to UNDP report. See politicians as your problem and not some folks from the SW or North. Be liberal and eschew bitterness and hatred. You have a common enemy- your leaders. |
Innoson go soon cash out big time. Nice business moves. He should work with FG to be given the concession as a service operator or else the FG I know will bring one company some where to provide those services and damn the consequences. See how Airpeace chairman, Mr. Onyema, keyed in to FG and parleyed them. If not, FG would have finished him by handing him over to FBI, US based on that fraud allegation with overwhelming evidence. FG just shielded him. Any Bleep from him now, FG will react. He has been singing the praises of FG lately and his business has been moving. That's how it is supposed to be done. In Nigeria, you have to be diplomatic and intentional about your desire. Sentiments, phobia and threats do not get you favour or support. |
Kai, see how account numbers just dey move up and down. Mehn, guys are hungry o. Buhari don finish this country kpatakpata ![]() |
Opportunity for City to force an extra time. Seven minutes is enough |
mrphysics:Yes. Nothing wrong with that. |
My people and Greed! Tufiakwa!!! I fear vigilante people pass anything. They always look crude, dishevelled, mean, unkempt, smelling, fetish, brutish, rugged and murderous. |
Dikegodspower: You no well. My wife was 22 when I married her. Though I gave her up to 10years gap as i was 32 then. She just finished her final exams and was about going for NYSC. Her mum was 39 then and a teacher in a government school. Now, my wife is 29 and the mom is 46, still teaching. She didn't write the test but my wife did as I applied for both of them. Checking their respective dashboards, I saw congratulations on my MIL and my wife own was blank, nothing. My wife has B.Ed, just like the mom from UNN |
I think this short listing was randomly done to balance geoipolitical zone or something. My wife that did the test with a score of 68% didn't get where as her mom that didn't do the test, and in her mid 40s, got the message. Nigeria, I hail thee. Definitely, this short listing was not by test. |
It is Major-General B. Ahanotu from Anambra that I pity most. He missed out to late Attahiru and again to the new one. He might be on the way out soon. He has been acknowledged as one of the most brilliant officers, the best in his class. Read his profile. |
I respect Germany, Germans and their Chancellor |
Immerse yourself and develop core competence in: Business Communication Microsoft packages _ hands on. Foreign languages - French or German You can try any of the following professional examinations: Charted Institute of Secretaries Chartered Institute of Personnel Management Nigerian Institute of Public Relations |
Dea Gea has been a disaster for Man U. I can't remember where he rose to the occasion when it mattered. Always making one useless mistake or the other. |
Mumu man! Despite your age and experience, Ayade is pushing you around. No ideology. If you don't stand for something, you fall for anything. Lack of strong ideology is killing Nigerian politics. Watch European politics and see how people are standing firm based on their ideology and views - far right, centre right, left, centre left, far left, liberals, greens for those that are climate and environmentally inclined, socialist. Etc. These are the kind of ideologies you hear politicians exhibits and people vote based on their own view and perception of the politicians views. Here in Nigeria, corruption and looting are their common ideology. By the way, where is Lara? Is she still married to Osho Baba? |
Kings999:You are just an unfortunate human being. Be blaming Fulani. The demon you all are praising will surprise you guys las las |
My incoming governor. I like Soludo but I am beginning to hate APGA. They are party of deceivers. Deceiving the gullibles and the deplorables. We need a new shift. |
I hope the Delta state government wont deny receiving the fund. Government in Nigeria are on the same level as comedian. Why didn't Delta state government announce the receipt of the fund? Now, the Accountant General has told the whole world that he has transferred money to Delta state government. I am sure the Delta state government wouldn't want to make public the receipt of the fund so that they are not questioned on its usage. |
BKayy:Keep deceiving yourselves. When the thing go be, na una go dey call police to come and help. Keep supporting chaos and disorder. It would surely come to your doorstep. Ignorant people! |
Ambassador. I thought it was something that could be studied at school. I was always fascinated seeing one of my distance uncles that was Nigeria's High Commissioner to Belgium in the 80s. I can't remember the country but it was in EU. H looked fabulous then and driven in a peageut 505 Evolution car whenever he was around during Christmas. |
I hope government hands are not in all these issues. Honestly, I cant trust the current security apparatus of the current regime. From the look of thing, there is no limit they could go to blame everything on the banned IPOB. I don't support IPOB or all these secessionist groups and I doubt there ability to carry out these attacks. See the one that happened in Awka, they came in two trucks and were doing their things for more than 2 hours without any challenge. I don't know what are the intention of the perpetrators of this dastardly act. When these kind of thing continued unabated, Abacha told us that government hands must be on it. Either trying to achieve one objective or the other. IPOB has come out to say that they are not the ones behind all these attacks on police officers and their outposts. So, who are those behind these attacks? Most insurgents around the world usually claims responsibility for attacks but in Nigeria, no group has ever claim responsibility for these frequent attacks on police stations. Our DSS, NSA, SSS and police should re-strategize and start gathering intelligence. For those cheering this dastardly acts, when it snowballs, nobody will escape. It would consume all of us. We should mind what we wish ourselves. Let our hatred for the regime not becloud our senses of reasoning. I, I am not in support of this government as it has failed us woefully but I get goose pimple on hearing these continuous attacks on police officers and their stations. These are signs of impending State failure, which will affect everybody. The Syrians, Somalis and Afghanistan are praying day and night for peace to return in their countries. The peace they earlier took for granted and were supporting those against Asad regime and regime in their respective countries, burning down police stations and attacking State actors. Before you knew it, lawlessness sets in, resulting in full blown wars, that are still raging now. We have millions of unemployed youths and army of touts waiting in the wings to unleash mayhem, creating warlords that would control fiefdoms. My brother, I fear who no fear for the future of this country. |
All these secessionists agitators, dreaming of an utopian country in their imaginary dreams above me. Hold your respective governors to account and let them perform first before expecting a miracle to happen in your dream country. |
"I","I","I","I","I" - I don't like people that places so much emphasis on themselves. " you don't chase records. Record chase you". I hear you sir. |
Let's not rejoice at this insane act of targeting police stations and state actors. This is how full anarchy begins. Check statistics of failed states. Nigeria is a ticking time bomb and all men of goodwill must put hands on deck to prevent any unforeseen but bad consequences from happening. Police may have their own stupidity but let's not be indifferent and support any form of attack on them. It would surely get to all of us. I get pissed off when I see some folks here cheering and being happy after each attack on police and their outposts. If police goes down, all of us goes down. If anarchy is allowed to set in in this country, what's is happening in Somalia and Afghanistan will be a child's play and those ignorant people happy about the anarchy may not be spared. They will be begging for peace to return. This penchant for burning police station started after the Endsars incident. There are large army of unemployed youths in this country and they look for any slightest opportunity to burn the country as they do not see any future in it. For them, they are already down and would want to bring many down with them. Those in the East will tell you how far their lives have become. Everybody rushing home before 7pm, including those happy with the attacks. Insecurity creates panic and affects quality of life of everyone. If this attack starts in Lagos, then the country is in for a disaster. Thousands of youths are idle and looking for opportunity to vent their anger on police and state's agents. As it is, government can't fight multiple battles at many front. But sadly, this government nepotism and its tendency has created room for disenchantment and disconnections among its citizen. Nigerians have never being this dis united since 1966. |
Two months is rather too short. How sure are you that you that she was ovulating when you both had sex? What I did with my wife after our wedding was to have straight intercourse with her for 30 consecutive days without missing any day, every night and then early in the morning. I did it not to miss any of her fertile days within the month, which were not certain. . The result was evident by the second month when I looked at her one morning after waking up to prepare to go to work and she was still tired, laying on the bed, unlike her. I immediately knew it had entered. We now use that event to joke now The greatest joy of any man is to give birth to his own and that shall be yours. Cheers! |
I hope he wasn't on any substance. The father was known to be a substance taker before he died. Those on substance usually behaves erratically and are usually unstable. See how the car was cut to pieces. I don't know the joy people derive from over speeding in Nigeria of all places. |
