shyling: Male victims ain't aware they are victims! And those who are believe it is useless reporting If they aren't aware then they are either not victims, or not compos mentis. If it bothers you that much, do something useful. This is where feminism will help you - feminism breaks the traditional gender stereotypes and recognises that men can be victims of rape, too. |
Romance › Re: Does Thinking About Sex With Someone Else Count As Cheating Too? by foolinlove(f): 2:05pm On Jul 01, 2016 |
Lewatolu: Okay so i want to know, if you have a girlfriend whom you love so much and vice versa, does thinking or imagining about sex with some other girl apart from your partner amount to cheating, even though you never execute such thoughts? This question goes to 1 out of 100 guys that don't really cheat. I am pretty sure all men do this. Even the tiny percentage who don't cheat. I can't control anyone's thoughts. That's even harder than controlling someone's actions. But I count it as cheating. So if anyone admits that to me, I'll be mad. Note to men: keep your mouths closed about your fantasies with other women. I don't like being replaced with other women - mentally or physically. And yes, I only ever think about the man I'm in a relationship with. |

shyling: Lies! Gosh you're angry. Did you get raped? I'm not meaning to diminish your experience but provide facts... Like I said, women are capable of rape. But published research shows overwhelmingly that men are the primary perpetrators of rape. You *feeling* something different doesn't make it fact. Until you fund some research of your own, you'll never be able to disprove this. I hope you recover from the ordeal you suffered. Maybe get some counselling and try to press charges? Make sure you have a good support network. |
Romance › Re: Does It Mean Dat We Ar Dating by foolinlove(f): 1:51pm On Jul 01, 2016 |
schumastic: you again hahaha, you never seize to amaze me, what makes yo think the guy won't be the one getting hurt? or you think op don't have any one? , the guy should ask as well cus op might gt married tomorrow and she will say "but I never asked you out, I never said I wasn't married, I never said we were exclusive, what did you expect?".
she'll act like he is a madman and he 'll end up feeling like the fool. Many women play this game with men. i only wish he can find out asap before he invest any more emotion or feeling for her. And if op doesn't answer him straight, then she is not serious about the whole affair Correct. But in the context of the Op, I think I have given good advice. Were it a guy asking, I wiuld have reworded and it would have been what you wrote above. She wants to date him and there has been no conversation. It seems like she is naive to dating and scared of asking him for fear of looking stupid in front of a guy she really likes. So she needs to ask, and avoid the risk of being hurt. If he was so concerned about being hurt, he would have officially asked her out at the beginning. Where I'm from, men generally take the lead for asling out. It's not right, but that's what happens. It's also common for women to make assumptions about men they've had lots of contact with - then they get hurt because they didn't make anything official. She just made assumptions with no talking or asking. Ask him before investing anything further is what I'll advise. |

Phasesone: Ask him what he wants from you.... like the other guy said This is true. Make no assumptions. The danger of not asking is that he will lead you on. He says he loves you, he may even sleep wit you... But when something happens, like you find out he's married or dating someone else, he will say "but I never asked you out, I never said I wasn't married, I never said we were exclusive, what did you expect?". He'll act like you're a crazy woman and you'll end up feeling like the fool. Many men play this game with women. You need to find out asap before you invest any more emotion or feeling in him. Romance › Re: Please Advice: My Friend's Fiancee Has A Son Already And As Aborted Thrice by foolinlove(f): 1:25pm On Jul 01, 2016 |
lodphil: Killing an innocent unborn baby is no body's right. If ur mom had aborted u,u wouldn't ve been online saying crap. Seriously? Most medical abortions in the world are carried out within he first 12 weeks of pregnancy. Within the first 12 weeks it isn't a baby, it's a clump of cells. A parasitic growth with the *potential* to become a baby. #science I believe the life of a woman - a life that has been established and lived - is more important amd valuabe than the life of a *potential* baby. I don't believe a woman should be forced to give birth against her will. I don't believe forcing someone into motherhood is right, it has negative effects for the mother and child - depression, neglect, poverty and so on. Abortion is also helpful to those who have medical complications and possibly die due to pregnancy, or when the foetus is known to be severely disabled or diseased (like having Tay-Sachs disease). I wasn't aborted, so moot point. You may be interested to know that a large number of pregnancies are spontaneously aborted anyway due to the internal processes of a woman's body. The woman doesn't even know she's pregnant - even though an egg has been fertilized, she has a very early miscarriage. If you don't like abortion, that's fine. Don't have one. But don't attempt to tell other people what to do with their bodies, especially women, because you have no idea what it's like to be a woman. |

Certifiedbillio: I just hope one day I could know all you've been through I don't have any diseases, it was just the first thing that came to mind - a thing that was missing from the list. Heartbreak can kill your soul, and when you're dead inside you may as well be dead in heaven. People have their heart broken through sex - when one party loves and the other party thinks it's just a meaningless fvck. |

I don't think it's fair, otherwise women would be given a separate but equally comfortable space.
But I disagree with many muslim ideas. Basically that men are sexually driven beasts incapable of self control...
But lots of people will disagree with me so that's life. |

ClintonDal: I can see you're still confused, that also makes me wonder what best schools you attended and who actually awarded you those highest grades. He never asked if she was raped, he asked why she wasn't a virgin and she replied by saying she was raped. Admission does not apply in this scenario. Lol, another time zone indeed. Is that supposed to make you seem sophisticated? You ain't the only one to have studied overseas or in another time zone, yet again get down from your high horse. Am a lil bit curious, since you mentioned age..... how old are you? I ask because for someone who claim to be well versed or rather well traveled, you should know that age is not a yardstick in determination of intelligence. Admission does apply. I will send you back to my post with the two scenarios. One contains an example of a lady admitting she was raped, and an example of agreeing she was raped. There is a difference. So you learned something. I only referred to your age because you seem so young and arrogant. I am almost 30. Here I was having a conversation about langauge and you stoop to personal insults and abuse. Shows your immaturity is all. Which is not dependent on age, but is usually correlated. Anyway, if you think you have nothing to learn... that's your life. |
Romance › Re: Please, Girls , Come Up With Another Lie. by foolinlove(f): 10:31am On Jul 01, 2016 |
ClintonDal: Damn your confusion is legendary, opinionated and smart doesn't go hand in hand. It's like saying being tall and strong goes hand in hand. There are lots of opinionated person who are stupid, and I just met one today. There are also tall people who are weak. And again, that you have studied Shakespeare doesn't make you good at diction. You have a lot to learn. Don't mention me again, face your fictitious job in your time zone that stuff only wows nitwits who suffer from complex problems. Get on with your life please. And if studying your version of English is better, I rather remain a dummy. Just FYI: diction is how you enunciate your words, now how you write. I'm good at both. Studying Shakespeare allows you to learn how subtle and emotive the English langauge is. Maybe you could study that, and Noam Chomsky's assertions of English linguistics. Continuance etc. I only mentioned my job and time zone because you stooped to personal insult - I was defending myself. I'm not Nigerian, I've never even been to Africa. |
Romance › Re: Please, Girls , Come Up With Another Lie. by foolinlove(f): 9:27am On Jul 01, 2016 |
ClintonDal: And you couldn't resist quoting me again. Let me school you once more, I never said being opinionated means you're smart. Re-read that sentence slowly and try to comprehend the context. And as I suggested earlier, work on your comprehension skills. You must not reply me so quickly okay, it just exposes your inadequacies. Anyone can be opinionated or smart, I never insinuated they went hand in hand. PS: I think you should take your own advice and enroll for literacy classes. It will definitely do you some good. You said I claimed to be opinionated and smart... I don't remember claiming to be opinionated. Nor can I see it in my posts. I may be opinionated, but I never claimed such. So when you say "opinionated and smart", it implies the two go hand in hand. Subtlety. The art of the English langauge. Never studied Shakespeare, have you? |
Romance › Re: Please, Girls , Come Up With Another Lie. by foolinlove(f): 9:14am On Jul 01, 2016 |
ClintonDal: Jeez, can you even hear yourself? Now I can stop replying you. It's very clear now you don't know jack and anyone who is well versed in grammar would attest to that. Man: Why aren't you a virgin? Woman: I was raped.
That is *admission*. How is her response an admission? The first is "agreeance" as you put it but the second is just an explanation as to why she isn't a virgin. Don't get it twisted and confuse your slow brain alright. And to correct you, English is not a subtle language neither is *agreeance* a globally accepted English word. It's only mostly used in New Zealand and France. And for my late reply, sorry to burst your bubble am not as jobless as you definitely seem to be. To move forward in life you have to get down from your high horse. Don't mention me again, am done schooling you. Cheers Admission: to admit. She admitted to being raped. Agreeance: to agree. And I'm not jobless - I am in a different time zone. I am not the one needs schooling. I've attended some of the best schools in the world and achieved some of the highest grades in each of my years there. English is a very subtle language. There are lots of words with synonyms that have subtleties of meaning, it's not black and white like German. The idea of you "schooling" me makes me laugh. How old are you? 20? Get over yourself. And keep studying English. |

ClintonDal: Haha, you see why being a smart ass will never help. The question was posed by the Op and I only concurred to what he said or rather his opinion. You even shot yourself in the foot when you said this - but a woman simply stating she was raped when questioned why she wasn't a virgin. because that is clearly the basis of my argument. You even had to descend as low as bringing in gender to the matter. You claim to be opinionated and smart but at any slight issue you will try to use gender and wiggle your way out of it. Sensitivity isn't at play here, if any one was sensitive then it's definitely you. Your acclaimed "perfect" write up is full of blunders which I ignored cause schooling you on grammar while ignoring the matter at hand is useless. Take a sit and re-assess yourself, you need to grow up and stop being misguided. You may also care to know that I don't "always" use my gender to "wiggle out" of anything. I use it to my advantage and defend women. And being opinionated doesn't mean you're smart. Many stupid people are opinionated. I still suggest adult literacy classes. |
