The only sister i and my other siblings had met a Man around 2008. He's from Imo state, a deportee from Germany who was in his late 40s when they met. My sister was just out of high school then and struggling to secure admission into any of the tertiary institutions. Luckily, she got admission to study law at Unilag after her second attempt. Sadly, there was no money to process the admission, she lost it. She was the first and only daughter of our parents. My parents were incapacitated financially to support her dream

My father never wanted her to work then, for guys not to take advantage of her or something. Having lost the admission, she insisted to work inorder to raise money for her studies. My dad got no option than to obliged

She met this man barely a year she started working. She was in her early 20s and full of dreams. Lest I forget, she was staying with our grand mother due to distance. This man got my sister pregnant and we got to hear about it. My dad got the man arrested and beat the hell out of my sister. He wept bitterly claiming this isn't the life he envisioned for his only daughter

He beseeched her and talk sense into her but she insisted, claiming she loved the man. This man was deported after spending almost half of his productive years outside the shores of Nigeria. He came back home with nothing and the next thing he could do was to got my sister pregnant claiming he loves her beyond words

My sister moved in with him and they started living together. We lost our grand parents (paternal and maternal) Yet, this man and my sister never stepped their foot in our house to commesorate. I lost my eldest brother, same thing happened. They never showed up. I was the 4th child of five children. Though, only four left now. She hardly call our parents nor we her siblings. To cap it all, my sister had stopped using phone ever since she moved to pourtharcourt with this man

This same man always attend his family function and very much into his family but isolated my sister away from her family. My sister never called throughout my days in the university just to know how I'm fairing, despite knowing our family condition. A very close friend of mine noticed this while in school and i did explained everything to him. He felt so bittered. He asserted the man might be diabolic, he's from the same town with the man in imo state

My parents are in their early/late 60s respectively and aging gradually. They couldn't felt the presence of their only daughter. Interestingly, family members got suspicious and they kept asking after her but my parents are bent on covering up, claiming she's fine. Yet, they goes to their closets to cry bitterly for the life of their daughter. I asked my dad why covering up, he claimed to have known his family pretty well, that they would do nothing

I'm just a young graduate, still job haunting. While my elder brother is gainfully employed with 50k as his monthly take home. He's being supportive with day to day running of the house and that of our last born studies. A friend suggested myself and elder brother with any of our uncle should go and treat the man's fvckup for eloping with someone's daughter without paying her bride price nor any other marital rite. I told him that isn't feasible for now due to our poor finances.

Nonetheless, we can't continue folding our hands and watch this man get away with this. She is the only daughter of our parents. Her presence is highly needed in their life, especially my mother

Please what can we do to make things work for my family back? I can't imagine having a sister who's more like a living dead

As I await my night bus to fill up for my journey to Lagos, I am filled with lots of emotions.

A few mins ago, i just got a call that needed me to be in Lagos tomorrow morning for a period of 6 months and it's for good.

However, I left behind my best friends, my twin girls 3years, my first daughter 6 and my son 8 and my wife. Didn't even see them to huddle them, cos they were still in school.

They never contribute to responsibilities in the house. Water pumping, fuel buying, grass clearing, refuse and compound sweeping. If you need money for these or there are responsibilities opening up, they won't even bat an eyelid.

Most times, I and another neighbor have been doing it even though we've had several meetings about this.

He and his wife have refused to agree to a roaster. They say they'll rather contribute and someone do it – it used to be me.

Recently, the lightning poles in Sango went down and we've not had light in two weeks. So no water. With the fuel issues, they still refused to take responsibility.

I've refused to do it too, after they insisted they cannot be in a roaster. The house has a dedicated generator for pumping water. I just put a little fuel in the generator tank, pump the little I need into the reserve tank we have. The wife and child have been without water for days and instead go out to fetch in the street.

Meanwhile, they have a big gen too in their apartment and they turn their gen on almost three times in a week. So it's just that they don't want to do it when it's a shared responsibility.

It's turning out to being wicked at my end. Because I just only pump what I need and collect the water

What can one do ?

Some people will deliberately behave like idiots and if you can avoid them, pls do

Get enough drums for your appointment, anyone that needs water should pump to their immediate use with his fuel and so shall it continue

If you can't cope, just find your way out

After all, the issue on ground your are fighting for favours every one and not just you alone

I got married last year June and by February 2024, I was transferred to another state for work. I was bored in the city and probably made a mistake. The girl stays in same hotel, and works for a bank, also on a course. So we started talking and one thing led to another. This girl had her phone on audio record the two times we got down and recorded all the audio of the shit we did.

My wife came visiting and of course I defined boundaries the moment wifey was around. A few days back I got high and dozed off, my wife got into my phone saw our chats. Her last chat to me, was regarding the audio. My wife followed through the convo and she sent two 24 minute audios.

Before I could wake, Wifey was already gone from the hotel. And when I checked my phone I saw a long epistle and screen shots of what happened. Now she has called my entire family, friends everybody I know. I am so ashamed of myself.

Is there anything I can do to have her back.

Good day everyone!! I am emotionally shattered as I type this message. I have been suspecting my wife for years now but no concrete evidence to confront her.

There is a boss of my mine who happens to be our family friend. Each time he calls my wife, she deletes the call history immediately. This has been happening for years but I keep quite because i love my wife and my children so much.

Probably all the great help that your boss have been offering to your family was because of the affair he was having with your wife which gave you great success, Without knowing that your wife was actually paying the price

Laboratory test was carried out and the report showed that the child have sexually transmitted infections. Fungi infection (,jock itch) and candidiasis.
All these evidences have been push to the judge phone and what we are afraid of, is the possibility of the judge cautioning her to take care of the child and allow her to continue taking the child's custody.
Can he take the child forcefully after having all these evidences against the mother?

Taking the child forceful will not solve the problem

He already has enough evidence to tender in the court for the court to grant him custody of the child

In most cases, court will grant a man custody of a child of the woman lacks the capacity to look after the child and in this case, this is one of them

He is likely to get the custody of the child but must make plans for her to see his child maybe once a month

In my compound, we are 5 sharing the prepaid meter. We uses to contribute 5k per person to recharged it when it finishes. So since last week we have been contributing because the units were low and the meter was making noise. By Monday this week it went off around 10 pm. And only one man hasn't paid yet. And he wasn't around that night.

He sent me a WhatsApp message around 11 after he was contacted by the guy that does the recharge reminding him that he's the only person that have not pay. Just calm down, the credit will finish again and when they start contributing, tell him to contribute to replace the one you did for him

Outside of business calls. No other people calls me daily/weekly as a friendly calls neither do I call people or want them to even call me. It get to a point once my phone ring i’m 96% certain its business. And in most time I don’t pick strange numbers direct call because 95% of strange number for business comes through WhatsApp chats. If I don’t have your number i will not pick direct call. I’m a type of guy that hardly trust people or neither want people to change their behavior for me.

I have meant a lot of beautiful girls and at first i will be dying for them, one big problem is I don’t call and once I noticed i don’t like their behavior I will just pull back. Some of them will beg me to tell them what they did wrong and they can amend and change. But i will never tell them or even want them to change for me. Even my plans to spend 40000 on Olosho monthly did not work. My 120k (salary and bonuses) pay just three days ago is finished.

I started work for this organization in December last year and I am heading my department. A new manager, a female was brought in January from a different state as the overall head. It wasn't easy for her as a lot of junior staff fought against her decisions. I was her go to person even though there are other people heading various departments.
As time went on, some junior and senior members of the organization began to disassociate from her. This made us come more closer. We hug each other every morning on resumption of duty, she visits my office, eat there if she came with food and most times, will sleep on my office.
She is always jealous whenever she sees me holding other female colleagues. I don't go beyond the hugging because she is married and I respect her marriage. Even the hugging, I don't hug in the front, but at the side.
With time, she was able to push a lot of junior staffs away and new ones were employed.
One of the new guy employed last month, knows the game to unlocking women's leg.
Within last month and this month, he has slept with almost all the girls in the organization and even the girls I usually play left me, both the one that has visited me in my house although, we didn't do anything.

There is nothing like best hospital, even if you think you have gotten the best, then prepare your pocket down

But I think you should go to General hospital Ikorodu and register for antenatal if its close to you and still look around your area for another hospital where they have maternity facilities. You can attend both for antenatal and let them know you run both hospitals

With these two, once your labour starts at night go to the one near you and if it starts during the day, go to General hospital, they have specialties there
