Wow
Sorry about that.... Do you water your plants dailyhuh
After the incident, I cleared the farm .applied my soil amendments and watered routinely morning and evening (cucumber is a fragile plant) and the yield was awesome. From my research though, a combination of Poultry manure and NPK will produce more yield but will deteriorate fast, while that of just poultry manure has a long shelf life.

You can’t just assume he has a psychological problem without trying to talk about it. I prefer to be a Nigerian woman than any other woman is is quick to judge and give up on my marriage without trying to work things out

The best thing to do is talk to him about it. Sit down and talk like two mature people, I don’t think he has erectile dysfunction cos if he does you won’t be pregnant. Prolly cook a nice dish, serve him well and just make him happy, after the food he will ask you what’s up and what the treat is for then you tell him you want both of you to discuss . That moment, ask him if he still feels attracted to you cos some men have the issue of having sex with their wives when they are pregnant while some don’t , some can have sex with their wives during pregnancy but detest having sex with their wives after she put to birth. It is something that can be discussed and sorted out without coming on Nairaland to degrade your husband. How do you think he will feel if he sees this post?

Has healing failed them? They should be sharing anointing oil, Bible and prayer booklets now. What has changed? Suddenly, no church has gone to isolation camps to pray for Corona victims? Garbage in, garbage out.. For those of you who still gift these fraudsters money in the name of tithes and offerings, I dare you to go and touch a Corona patient, let's see if the devourer won't devour you. Why has your tithe stopped working for you? Now you are scared, using hand sanitizers and facemasks in every ticking second.
So what exactly is your conclusion, your government has failed you and you are here looking for how to shift blames to the pastors. How many US churches have you heard of giving palliatives this period? None because their government are doing their job. Next election now, you will join them to sell votes for 3k and 6 yards of wrapper. If you don’t have anything to say, just don’t type this type of thing.

RomanceRe: Should I Lend My Boyfriend Money? by Futurejoy(f): 1:22pm On Apr 22, 2020
Trayceey:
Fellow nairalanders,

I have a pressing issue on ground and I need your contribution. My boyfriend has been working for about 5 years now. We've been dating for a while now and he has been so nice and caring. The best ever.

In my past experience in relationships, I have been quite generous but the guys turned out to be ingrates so I vowed never to give any boy my penny again.

When I met my man, he melted my hardened heart with the love he showered on me. On one occasion, I have borrowed him money and he paid me back. Now he's asking me to borrow him another money. Because of this lockdown, he has gone so broke and he opened up to me. Initially, I did not believe him but when I noticed he has run out of food stuffs and the provisions he normally stock his house with, I believed him. I have more than enough money. The money he's asking for is like chicken change to me. But I don't want him to get used to borrowing from me and I have vowed never to give a guy my money again except if he's my husband.

Please I need advice. Fellow ladies like me, what do you think? Should I borrow him?
I think it’s best you dash him the money instead of borrowing him because he needs it for food. If you were in his condition he would do same for you. look past your past experiences, I have gone through same but it can’t stop me from doing good to people.

Bullets are not noisy, Guns are, unless the bullet hits on a glass or metal object. A Bullet that pierce through POP, then to tiles can't make enough sound to be called 'loud bang'.
Almost similar incident happened to my younger sister’s flat mate.

CrimeRe: My Experience With The Hoodlums Terrorising Igando. by Futurejoy(f): 9:18am On Apr 14, 2020
Enquires:
At about 7:50pm shortly after Buhari announced the extension of the lockdown, I and my neighbours gather around a shop in front of the house to discuss the way forward, wail, and give opinions about what the president just said.

During the course of our discussion, the issue of boys terrorising lagos came up and as expected, they were reactions from everyone. Some are of the opinion that this is not as a result of hunger but just an excuse for these hoodlums to perpetrate their evil act. Jokes were flying around (our usual practice of suffering and smiling), people giving out safety tips and all, talks on how to get a cutlass for protection etc.

In the middle of this talk, a young lady came in to buy foodstuffs from the shop and overheard our discussion. She then decided to make her own contribution of how she just survived an alleged attack by some of these boys, how she scrambled for safety some few hours ago, how many were killed including a pregnant woman( at this juncture, i know all what she said were all lies). She went on and on and i could sense that fear were being created among the listener. I was angry, furious and I began to tell as many people around me not to entertain fear but be calm. Meanwhile, just as I'm talking, one of the women in the discussion claim she saw boys moving in, and this is where it all begins.

Come and see how people were running helter-skelter, some of the people that were initially boasting how fearless they are, ran like children to take cover. Panics began to set in and just like a wild fire, i witness how it spread throughout the whole street. Shops that were open, close in a twinkle of an eye without seeing the enemy in sight. In the midst of this, I was still angry. Angry, because, it was clear to me this is just another false alarm. The next thing i know, the youths gather in their numbers with cutlasses, knives, sticks chanting as one going to battle. Tyres were burnt in every junction accompany with shouts. Different weapons were brought out from boys ranging from age 12. And the peaceful atmosphere in no time, turned to a violent one. I witness first hand how people can be mistaken for robbers and be burnt alive cause, every okada rider that came into the street was virtually mobbed, innocent residents were accosted, and if not provided useful evidence was asked to sit on the floor.

I switched on my data and the next message i got were from friends, telling me how Igando is on fire, How they have being coordinated attacks within igando, how robbers have invaded Igando and killed many. I was stunned upon seeing this. Logged on to twitter and it's already trending and I'm like, is it this same Igando or another one? Is it the fire we started by ourselves? or is it not the boys that came out with their weapons to attack an unseen army?

My point is, we should stop creating unnecessary fear among ourselves. Let's stop spreading fake news, it help no one. If i should upload the "deadly" pictures and videos i took, its as if we are in a war front, imagine i post it on twitter or facebook, People who are far away would think these are the criminals not knowing they are just residents trying to protect themselves. It later dawned on me that majority of the videos circulating online were that of the residents not the hoodlums. And for the arrest that were made, assuming the policemen visited this street, almost everyone would be arrested as they were all with one deadly weapon or the other. At around 3am, I was woken up with what sounded like gun shots but unknown to me it was the young boys that visibly got angry that were banging gates of every house shouting that everybody should come out, that nobody deserve sleep since they too are not sleeping.

I'm not saying these cultist don't exist or do not attack communities. What I'm saying is, we should stop the spread of fake news, let's report it the way it is.

I appreciate every one who came out yesterday to keep watch till this morning in a bid to try to protect their communities. You guys are the best! God keep us all!!
It’s no fake news, Igando is a very big area. I stayed in Igando few years ago and I can testify that through out the 1 month I spent there, there were cases of highway robbery and killings especially at that Egan side. Everyone should be conscious and protective of themselves,it is better to be armed than harmed.

CrimeRe: How My Generator Was Stolen Last Night by Futurejoy(f): 11:17pm On Apr 13, 2020
Josnac:
The Street Is Getting Hot! My Experience Last Night.

About Last night...

Between 7:40pm - 7:45pm, It was dark, weather wasn't cooling down as quickly as it should and I've bored to eternity. So I decided to put on the generator to see a couple of movies I downloaded during the day.

I took the generator out to the backyard but for some funny reason, I opted to parboil rice first and set it for final cooking before returning to the generator.

Once done, I picked the gallon of fuel and that of the oil back to the the generator, and fiaaaaam, like a stunt in a Nigerian movie, my "Gen" was gone. I was stunned, my neighbour's generator was actually ON at the time, so I came back inside and went straight to check if any of neighbours returned it inside while I was in the kitchen, NONE!...lol, water don pass garri!

My landlady happened to be around and I sort of whispered "ndi a parala my gen o" and she was like "whaaat??!!, Please don't be joking like that" and reiterated I wasn't. Hunt for the gen started.

We went back out, I gently searched around, for footprints that weren't mine and which seemed to be moving away from the building and after some minutes, I found one, still fresh and at the edge of the fence where a heavy downpour with its accompanying breeze, brought down a part of the fence with our neighbours at the back. Drew the woman's attention to it, and she shouted even more.

I followed the footprint carefully but lost it halfway through the other building, but proceeded to the front where a couple where already watching from, trying to decipher what the noise was about. I told them as I got there and they said no one had Crossed them there, and on the strength of that, some others who had gathered after hearing the alarm my landlady raised, suggested we begin searching the front of the building adjacent to us at the back.

We started the search, with the help of the other guys who came out there, after some minutes..I found the generator, carefully kept under a table but partially covered with some rags for disguise.

All along I was largely speechless, but deep down I was enraged, super enraged but tried well to keep my cool.

You're under lockdown, I'm under lockdown..our stupid politicians are only after making radio and TV announcements without accompanying actions and Na my own Gen an idiot go wan move!!!

After this experience, I think I will get a nice machet, sharpen it front and back, and drop it closeby because I know this will get to a stage where some idiots will attempt to pick something from your room through the burglary, and nwanne if I jam that hand, just accept that the part that got in through the burglary is gone for good!!

The police and other security agencies are busy chasing Keke drivers and Okada who defied lockdown to try and feed, so none would be available to help o.
I now keep a sharp knife under my bed after a terrible experience I had few weeks ago. Someone came to my window at past 3am and that was the moment I just opened my eyes from sleep only to see someone with a Nokia touch trying to peek through the window. Though our fence was under construction cos rain pulled it down . I don’t care, anybody that tries to move anything I own will collect scar cos when he was collecting bribe during election I no follow collect. You voted for a bad leader so enjoy the heat.
