Have watched videos of lots of African countries on YouTube mostly the over hyped R country with Namibia and bostwana.. Honestly I see nothing worth celebrating in this countries they all look like on over hyped piece of town.

Namibia is kinda a big country yet still has most of it's part underdeveloped.. Even the overyhped windohek that was probably developed by the German is still surrounded by slums.. Just a few expanse of the city is developed the rest are just bushes with good roads.. Same with the R country 50% of Kigali is slum and Kigali is not even better than Abuja in Nigeria but the media won't let us rest with hype..

This is not true. With world remit you have a lot of bank offering this service. If a particular bank tells you that domiciliary account is needed please leave that bank and use another. What you're saying was what I was told in Polaris bank, but I left and withdrew the money in zenithbank.

Every course is saturated in Nigeria. There is no course you want to read now that we don't have graduates in that field roaming the streets. Every year students graduate from school, but how many hospitals or jobs are being created for these graduates? Most doctors want to be employed by the government but how many can the government really employ? Just read your book and forget about job for now. When you graduate things will take care of itself. You might even read a course people feel it's stupid yet you'll come out being gainfully employed before your peers.

My brother lucrative is individual dependent. What Mr A sees as lucrative might be nonsense to Mr B. For example, Medical related courses might look lucrative but we have lots of medical graduates looking for jobs in the streets. Some even now work in Banks.

Considering the Nigeria reality, I will tell you my 3 courses I feel it's best currently for Nigeria as a career.

1. Agriculture. Any agricultural field course is a bomb. Maybe it's because I'm a poultry farmer I don't know, but if I'm to delve into the reasons why this course is so good, we might not stop reading. One of the reasons this course stand out is that you can easily become your own boss.

2. Any computer related course. To be honest if you don't know this then I don't know what to say to you. The areas where you will be able to fit in when you graduate is quite broad. Now please consider that I'm not looking at how to get a job after graduation but if you can make a career out of what you've studied. There are a lot of courses in this area. I hope you know that.

3. Lastly. Any medical course. If your parents are well loaded you can choose these courses but personally considering the Nigerian reality I see this as a waste. The reason I included this is that after graduation you can easily relocate to another country. Countries like UK, Australia, Canada will like to have you when you graduate.

There is nothing new here. If you read the history of medicine, you will see it started with people referring to it as witchcraft. This was so even in the days of Jesus. The Bible does not support the use of drugs when sick. All these we do now is civilisation.

There are so many natural resources to tap from apart from oil.

Kogi for example, have abundance of Uranium, scarce elements.

Please economically speaking Nigeria is an extremely poor country. I just pity for anyone thinking otherwise. We have abundance resources that if well utilised could have lifted the country from poverty but resources does not equate to wealth. You are talking of kogi having Uranium. Every state have one abundance raw material or the other but having it is not wealth, it is what you use it for. You are complaining that leaders are stealing money, have you taken out time to consider where those monies being stolen recently comes from? The recent Dasuki loot we are talking about was actually borrowed, approved by the senate. Paying civil servant is a problem to the Nigeria govt. The money generated from crude oil alone cannot pay for Nigeria's expense.

If you say Nigeria is rich, quantify it in terms of money. All the north African countries budget is higher than ours, their expenses is higher than ours, their income is also higher than ours. Or do you think Nigeria is the only country with resources in Africa?
