Private securities move with ak47
Yes, well recognized, trained and licensed private securities should be allowed to move with AK 47.

Like the types of security companies employed by banks. I'm not talking of the private vigilante.

Most of those security will be used in guiding the elite while they free the police force for the masses. Currently in some cases more than 100 police officers will be guarding one elite citizen while some police stations can not boast of 60 police officers.
PoliticsRe: Posting Photos Of Dead Soldiers On Social Media: Army To Take Legal Action by gaddafe(m):
The army cannot do anything about that because in most cases it is Boko Haram that are actually uploading these pictures. is it the Boko Haram that is having a upper hand in battle that they intend on taking legal actions on?
PoliticsRe: Reps Ask Buhari To Declare State Of Emergency Over Insecurity by gaddafe(m):
@the posters above, I don't think you understood what you read. They're not asking for a state of emergency on a state or any region, but on the subject matter "Security". That is making security a priority in his agenda.

Back to the topic. State of emergency will not solve anything. Rather the legislatures are the main problem and they should start weighing their options. Which are as follows:

1. Either create state police or

2. allow citizens protect themselves by allowing those above 18years move with AK 47 or

3. Allow the private securities move with AK47 or
4. Legalise social security and other benefits to the unemployed etc. or
5. Totally scrap this constitution and write a new one. or

6. start making arrangements for peacefully dividing the country etc

EducationRe: He Was Sacked For Making Bad Comments On Report Cards by gaddafe(m): 8:51am On Apr 27, 2021
officialmario:
I wonder the kind of people establishing schools nowdays, for you to be a proprietor or proprietress of a school you need to have studied EDUCATION in school so as to have the clear understanding of how to handle your school and the entire staff.

My friend made some comment on some of his students report card and he is in trouble now.
These are some of the comments:
"He is not active in class"
"She keeps gang in the school"
"He is a truant."
"She is rude and not respectful",
those are some of the comment he made, and the proprietor told him to go and apologize to the parent for the comment made on their children's result, the guy has refused and has been fired for nt apologizing.

Whats your opinion on this?
did you get any comment that made your parent to be mad at you while in secondary school?
Are you kidding me? A teacher wrote "he is a truant" on a child's result? I blame the school Sha.
Truth be told the teacher deserves an outright sack. The problem is not with the owners of the school but the unqualified teachers we use in teaching these days. Having taught for some years now there is a reason why I make it compulsory in my school, the last person to vet the result is the principal's office (the VP included). When such thing is found, you educate the teacher on why he is wrong and ask him to rewrite another result in order to avoid such embarrassment.

God declared that David was a man after His heart even before David was anointed King as a youth. That does not then imply that all that David did throughout the rest of his life was pleasing in the sight of God, nor does it mean that God changed his mind about sexual sins as defined in the old Covenant. undecided

God never made special laws for Kings so be sure that David will be judged by the Old Covenant, just as everyone of His people before and after Him. That God did not complain or send a prophet to him for every sin he committed even as king does not imply that God changed His mind about sin. undecided

As for concubines being against African culture, this is the first I have heard of that. undecided
it would have been nice if you are clear with your points though. When you say sexual sin, I hope you're not referring to David committing any sin by having wives because he was not the only one that did that then. infact it was a common practice then. whether you are a king or commoner.
And if David had sinned by marrying wives don't you think he would have known just as he knew about the Uriah wife.

and yes concubine is a western culture which is frowned at in most African cultures. It doesn't mean people don't have them though.

All the wives that David and Solomon married, were the wedding ceremony in the church? And I want you to answer this last one . Do you think David is going to hell fire considering he married many wives?

and yet the man that was after his heart had many of them. Did you read any part where it states that God was angry with any of those Kings because they had many concubines? The reason why concubines is wrong today is because it's against the African culture

Somebody should help out please, it is urgent.
The three wives are yours keep them. If you chase them away who do expect to get married to them. King David was a man after Gods heart and he had many wives and many girlfriends (concubines). Initially the Christian faith does not bother about wedding ceremony and how many wives you marry as long as the bride was not stolen or kidnapped. All these stuff started in the 17th or 18th century. Please enjoy your life you have not committed any sin. As long as they were duly married

If you read the headline you would see where it states that 81 persons have been convicted. you can read through again. For those expecting the federal government to charge them to court, most herdsmen cases are usually state offences and will be tried by the state laws. That is the state where the offence is committed( I'm not a lawyer though).

even the adam and Eve story was plagrised. Majority of the Old testament was plagiarized. It's all fiction.
all the books written by Moses is questionable and there is a reason for this. it's because of his training. Moses was trained to be a pharaoh. And he passed the trainings excellently. But many don't know what the trainings involved.

Some other nonsense Moses said was that angels came down from above to have sex with humans and they started having children. Even Moses himself did not witness the so call Noah's ark.

Only thought Nairaland is the only forum where people do call unknown person a terrorist I don't know its everywhere. Meanwhile the word of terrorist become popular during president Buhari contesting for a president in 2014 the same word became general use by Nigerians when Buhari proscribed ipob as a terrorist organization.

This is really bad for our society. Pdp started this nonsense then they are calling Buhari terrorist just to paint him bad before electorates .
PDP was right. Buhari is a terrorist. If you look back now you will see most of what PDP said during the period you're talking about is true.

The only reason Isa Pantami is a minister is because Buhari himself is a terrorist. So I will be surprised if Pantami is sacked today
PoliticsRe: There Were No 'Tribes' In Nigeria Before Colonialism. Discuss by gaddafe(m): 4:28pm On Apr 21, 2021
Rosskiiku:
I agree, bro.

In fact I will explain this further in a way that will be quite jarring to us today.

SCENARIO 1:

Let us assume you are in the year 1750, long before colonialism.

You were born in Awka. You speak the Igbo language.

One day, you decide to travel with your wife to the west, ie Yoruba-speaking territory, say Ijebu-Ode, to settle, and maybe raise a family.

You learn the Yoruba language after a few years there. Then you have kids.

Since you had no concept of being ''an Igbo man'' (merely a man from Awka), you would happily give them the names used by people in that region, eg Olusegun, Afolabi, Adedoyin, etc.

They will be speaking the Yoruba language etc.

Guess what?

You have BECOME an Ijebu family.

What we would call today ''a Yoruba family.''

You and your kids can even be made chiefs and leaders, and elders there.

But COLONIALISM changed that.

It created what I call ''language-derived ethnic permanence''.

TODAY, if the same trip occurred, you would be regarded in Ijebu-Ode as ''that Igbo man who can speak Yoruba, but is not a Yoruba man''.

Your children would be called 'Omo Igbo' even if they speak Yoruba as fluently as anyone in Ijebu.

You see, under SCENARIO 1, the colonialists felt MOST UNCOMFORTABLE, because such social fluidity they saw as very dangerous for their occupation, as the 'Nigerians' could UNITE based on their underlying unity to drive them out.

So they created SCENARIO 2, ie ''language-derived ethnic permanence'', which stipulated that ONCE you 'hail from' Igbo-speaking territory, you remained an ''IGBO MAN'' for life, plus your entire succeeding generations, EVEN IF you migrate elsewhere in Nigeria.

This meant you could not be allowed to partake of major leadership roles in your 'Yoruba' abode, and would always be identified (and self identify) as ''Igbo'', and regarded as an 'outsider'.

Same applied, of course, to other 'ethnicities' across Nigeria.

Now of course this radically new way of seeing ourselves did not all happen overnight.

Language based ethnic permanence was legally enforced by the colonialists, and it entrenched itself in our society over several decades, to the point we are today, where we actually see it as the way it's always been.

NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH.

It wasn't always...like this.
I am even surprised people are arguing with the OP on this issue. This was something I found out since 2008. It was even placed in the Edo state website then where they tried explaining why there were various languages in Edo state. We seriously need to wake up

DFOmobolla:
I think op is mixing up some things here, for example there is limited mobility in precolonial times.
And mobility actually plays a lot in homogeneity. A yoruba man from Owo most definitely feels more intone with an Akure man than he does an edo person. But lack of adequate mobility( physical immobility, mental immobility, and spiritual immobility) actually plays a lot in their hesitancy towards homogeneity.

This same hesitancy toward unity plays out every where among blacks, will the op say blacks are not a different race to others?
The thing is the caucasians moved a little ahead of the times, when they discovered writing, and the importance of record keeping. Ideally the world as a whole is just moving into the homogeneous state of mind.

So next time op look at the world through the eye of an universal being and not through a colonised eye.
Oga please writing was discovered by black Africans. Nobody is disputing this. We read this way back in school. Please if you have any source that claim otherwise quote it here. Numbers started as a result of the trade between Egyptians (black Egyptians) and Sumerians (Arabs). Record keeping started in Egypt. There is nobody disputing these facts. These are common knowledge for those that studied history and library science
