The no 5 question is If after shutting the world economy for 3 months and the virus is not eradicated, what next? Are we not going to leave our houses to look for food? when we know how poor our country is coupled with the useless set of leaders. We should forget the lockdown let everyone go out and work. Those that will die of the sickness should be buried While the rest continue living.

How does giving palliative translate to solving all our problems? Or you think anyone is happy sitting at home? I have said it often: if government cannot provide palliative then we should forget the bullshit of sit at home and social distancing. Let people go about their normal job and if we get infected, those that will die should be buried while those that survive the pandemic should continue living. So who did? Who opened the airport for them to fly in? Or is the airport no longer restricting international flight?

These questions in public domain have been frequently dodged by government officials when asked, they are:

1. Why are the European and American countries evacuating their citizens from Nigeria even though our health facility has not been overstretched and the rate of virus spread here is low compared to theirs?

2. Why is the government so much interested in bringing the Chinese health practitioners even though the NMA and majority of Nigerians are against it?

3. Why did the Chinese government single out only Nigerians and started quarantining them in China?

4. Is there something that Nigerians don't know that the government and other country's government know?

5. What is the criteria for identifying the vulnerable Nigerians? And why are they all in the Northern part of the country?

the no 4 question is important because this government has proven times without number to be a liar or a lying government.

We all know that government of Nigeria does not have such huge amount of money to cater for Nigerians in providing food and other necessary things in this Covid19 period. We also know that most money donated towards covid19 pandemic by wealthy Nigerians to the government of Nigeria is not enough to do the rolling out of money to all Nigerians.

Hunger is another pandemic killing more Nigerians than covid19 and if nothing is done about it, Nigeria may have highest number of death to covid19 pandemic than any country. Robbery, Hijacking and killing will be the order of the day sooner or later if nothing is done.

I just realized staying home with children is more expensive. They eat 8 times a day and we have to pay for those things they eat.

This is what I think Government of Nigeria should do with immediate effect. Order all Nigeria banks to give a non-collateral Covid19 loan to every Nigerians who actually need it and the repayment will be as low as 5% monthly (Max of 20 months) and also depending on the repayment agreement signed.

Government should also help the bank in a way to make sure people pay back within speculated time.

This type of loan will be effective and reachable to all Nigerians regardless of status and position.

Another problem is price regulation. Governemnt should please help to stabilize the price of goods and services now. Garri that was N350 is now N900 and same goes to every other products. Increment of price of good in this period is more deadly than covid19 itself. I think the price of everything now should be reduce as the price of fuel has also reduced.

If you think otherwise, please place your comment. This may help our government in making decision towards helping Nigerians in this Pandemic period.

I have no problem with what you wrote except the part where you said government should help stabilize price. In a free economy price is determined by market forces. That is the forces of demand and supply. In this case, since demand is high, the price will increase. What government should have done to prevent this before now that they didn't do is to have establish a marketing board in every LGA in the country. The advantages of this is so numerous I can't start typing it. Anybody can google it to know the benefit.

Thauit person seeking a test right now is an unserious fellow. They are only testing those with symptoms such as fever, cough and body aches who may have been exposed to an infected person. There are very limited number of testing kits to go around, so yes of course screening is selective. Even in America and Europe, they are only testing people with symptoms, so why did your friend think he can just get tested like that?

The question here is why is NCDC afraid of explaining this to him if it's as you said?

At this stage the NCDC should no longer be taken serious as its obvious they are lying to us. Earlier today it was said the cases were 42, then kyari and the aso rock guys were not included. If you add up the Aso rock cases and that of the governor, we should have 47. Why is NCDC like this? In two weeks time people will know the gravity of nonsense the NCDC is performing.
