oochi123:Wait oo, are u sure Esther Ene Audu is idoma? So why does she claim Igala? I hope u are not using the middle name ENE to judge that she is idoma? because igalas do answer some idoma names or her mother could be idoma. |
Wow, see my Benue peeps. God bless Benue . McBrooklyn:So what does that make ur state Dick of the nation? Very silly comment. Benue gurls are learners where ur igbo, edo n calabar girls are... |
MrDraey:Am idoma from Ogbadibo LGA but i was born and bred in Jos n Kaduna and schooled there. So am more of a Jos/kd girl. numericalguy:Pls am from Benue state and grew up in Jos n kaduna. I can fully confirm to u that these girls are typically Jos/Kd girls. Original Benue girls do not look like these. This is more or less what we look like.
|
deliveryboy:Guy, u are not a Kd guy, u are a kd local guy, imagine u mentioning places like Narayi and Unguwan Sunday..... Those places are like the ghettos in Kaduna. If u want to see real Kd chicks why dont u visit the developed places like Baranawa, Makera and Kakuri? These are where u find the high class kd babes. Well, like beget likes, u might be a local person hence attracting local looking girls. |
The truth is that if u want to know how beautiful the people of a place truly are....... I think the best way is to check out the celebrities that hailed from that area. Anyone who claims that Kd and Jos girls are very ugly should pls explain why their celebs are extremely beautiful..... Taking Dija, Rachael Bakams, Sophie Gemal and Melvina Longpet as examples...... I am from Benue, i can evidently say that Jos and Kd girls are truly beautiful..... And for character, they really have it.... They are not materialistic and pretenders by nature and that is why people really feel they are cheap. They are very down to earth people. |
The truth is that igbos will just never learn. However, it may not be that the igbos do not want to develop their own land but the problem is their character and culture which encourages greed and dominating others. Igbos have a very greedy nature and the tendency to want to dominate others and this is why most of them cannot even survive in their own region. In their region, everyone wants to cheat and outsmart his neighbor, everyone wants to dominate his neighbor, everybody eye dey shine for their land, everybody is ready to die in the name of competition, wealth acquirement and selfishness. So naturally they igbos just have to migrate to other peoples homelands where they feel they can have peace and deal with 'fools or duller people ' as they see other tribes, who they feel will be less competitive and cheap for them to control and catch mugu. Unless igbos abolish this their nature of selfishness, greed, Pride, envy, excessive competition and chest beating, they will forever remain inferior to hausa and yoruba in the settings of the country. Even the minority groups are now receiving more recognition and say than them in the running of the country. (make no mistake, i am neither yoruba nor hausa) Just a minority grouper who has a soft spot for igbos. |
Interesting.... The ladies are truly very beautiful.... I think we middlebelt ladies rock. Where are the mods? farano, Rocktation, Ishilove Frontpage deserving i think |
nosike3:My bro, u must not insult to make a point. As u can see, the OP acknowledged Akunyili's influence but the point he made is very valid. Margaret Ekpo and Funmilayo Kuti started fighting for the rights of women even before Akunyili was born, both women fought for the relevenace of women in the independent Nigeria while Ladi Kwali's works were presented as Objects of National pride at the internationa centre on Independence day to the extent that she graced our naira note. Haba my Brother let's be fair to ourselves here. Dora is great, i love her and her legacy, but truly she cannot be in same league with these listed women. |
What did the Igbo nation do to honour or immortalize late Margaret Ekpo of blessed memories? u ppl should not just stop at asserting her igboness because of her paternity. The airport in Calabar is named after Margaret Ekpo, there are roadways and halls named after Margaret Ekpo in Calabar to show how the Efik people cherish her What did Igbo people do to remember her? i am asking all the igbos in the house....mtcheww All u people do is claim! What the OP has said remains the fact. Ibibio/Efik influence made Margaret Ekpo who she was. The only part of her that is Igbo is her father's sperm as IanSweet puts it.....LoL (No offence to my igbo peeps pls), i am also of mixed igbo origin, infact just like Margaret, my own father was a product of his Igbo mother because his own Benue father died early too. |
sheymaziggy:What about we middlebelt? U did not judge us too? GEJ will win middlebelt with 90% i bet u. |
UP GEJ. Buhari, where is ur certificate?? |
missberrypop5:I think u may be wrong if u say ebiras are majorly muslims. I think it is a 50/50, or the muslims may only be slightly more if u use the overall population. Okene has more muslims i agree. But other places like Ajaokuta, Adavi, Ihima e.t.c have more ebira christians. |
Radoillo:Pls i'd like to hear of the oral traditions dat connect d igbos to Odolu.... I'm partly idoma from Ogbadibo and we also share the Odolu connection as i'm told. Some of my clans also trace their roots to Anambra area. |
How can anyone be talkin abt handsomness of middlebelt men without including KELVIN CHUWANG PAM, d first Nigerian to win Big brother Africa, and also KATUNG ADUWAK that won Big brother Nigeria?
|
The OP forgot to include Idoma girls. Marrying from some part of idoma land in Benue is as expensive as marrying from a place like Mbaise. Thats why u see them growing old in their father's houses. |

She stood her ground and she is a hero in every sense of the word!
