Thank God you did not mention Switzerland as some ignoramuses do. You people that say there are other countries for Nigerians to emigrate to in Europe apart from the UK don't know what you are writing or thinking. None comes close and there are a 1000 and 1 reasons why that is so. P.S. It is almost impossible to get a student visa interview, interview o not visa, at the German embassy in Nigeria. |

Cloudflare: Honestly, why is it so extremely difficult to find these qualities in a woman.
1. Doesn't double date men for money 11. Spend her money on her man and Pampers him 18. Virgin 19. Has a car 20. doesn't have only sex to offer
Those are the qualities every sane man wants in a woman, is that too much to ask? Judging from my female classmates and other Facebook female friends who are married, Nigerian men don't pay so much attention to those points, except she is a known sex peddler or chronic feminist. In fact, I know one who was notorious for fvcking anything in trousers during our first year wey don marry and have two children. Another used to coordinate runs in the state capital during weekends, she too don born two children. Then another who was close to me and gist about sexcapades married one well-to-do dude who is very handsome. Yet another who was infamous for being a club-goer don marry and born pikin. This one is a close friend to the notorious fvcker. I have seen a lot, which is why this alfa meil movement in Nigeria dey always surprise me. There was even another who was very churchy in her outward appearance but was sleeping with the student's pastor. If I was a frequent "we outside" person, I probably would have known more than I saw and was told. For those who are single, they are being very selective and want the kind of men in Labake's thread. Unfortunately for them, that number 13 of not being a womaniser is where wahala go dey. As for your list, there are women who qualify, but I am not sure of their virginity status. A few exhibit Ndi ifemenisim traits. I am wary of these ones. |

Raalsalghul: This is a viable business plan given how much men are willing to spend on sex in Nigeria.
She'll multiply that money in a month if she has the right clientele.
She should go ahead with the surgery, open a social media profile to become a content creator or something, network and watch her recoup her investment in multiples. There is a popular plastic surgeon in Lagos - something grandsville surgery who is making a killing in the industry. When he started with just a centre in Lagos, he has three there and an Abuja branch. Last I checked, the minimum rate is 1.5 million naira. His dad was or is a doctor, and he graduated from UNILAG and went to the US to hone his skills. Dude does not lack customers and ladies swoop on the company's IG pages and comment section. This is what I mean to play as an entrepreneur rather than just a patron. There is so much money to make from sex related industries. |

SoNature: You should have shared that data in your comment. One thing I know about Nigerians is that we are terribly greedy. Most Nigerians are opportunists. That's why price control is important. Nigerians are human beings. Humans, especially in a heteregnous environment, are greedy. That is a normal thing. Nothing wrong with it. Think of bus drivers or keke riders inflating their fares because it rained. This country is crazy and regulatory bodies should always be in the field. Nothing wrong with it. It is demand and supply. You should pester the government to institute a reliable public transport rather than dictating to private operators how to run their systems. Anyway, with the responses I have read so far, I can predict Nigeria's future and know the country's source of poverty. No be everything be white man's fault. |

SoNature: This sounds good, but make sure you do some research and determine the cost of production before imposing prices on items. If you run sellers out of business, you will cause more problems for the country. The last time I checked, Nigeria doesn't run a communist or socialist economy. It is not good. The countries that regulate prices are always poor. This is a verifiable fact. The moment prices are regulated, poverty increases. |

mysticwarrior: Tackle the issue of insecurity in the middle belt so farmers can go to farm without fear, that would go a long way. If there is one thing I have noticed about Nigerians is their predilection for dishonesty. Nigerians have this innate dishonesty gene, which makes them dodge or parry questions. If farmers in the middle belt and northern part of the country can cultivate their harvests without being butchered, kidnapped or their crops/farmlands razed, prices of food would reduce considerably. Very few Nigerians are willing to confront this issue by demanding the government ensure lives and properties are safe. Thank you for mentioning the most critical aspect of high food prices in Nigeria. |

Communism, especially forced communism, leads to poverty. The government does not have the right, especially in an ethnically heterogenous country as Nigeria, to enforce prices and even shut down private properties. Albertone: The high turnover is paired with more recruitment which makes it easier to break into unlike tech. Tech is more accessible to break in than finance. This is a global phenomenon as tech is egalitarian, and cares less about the school, grade and course of study. Finance and its close sister Law are among the most elitist careers on earth. KPMG does not accept folks with two sittings in WASSCE and strictly five credits. Some finance companies discriminate based on university. Others discriminate based on grades. Tech is easier to break for literally anyone serious about learning. Finance is an elitist industry o. If not tech, many folks from poorer backgrounds would not have earned high salaries, ditto those with lower grades from the university. |

I think the profile you quoted had an MBA from CBS first Yes, for science students, paper publication is important, but not compulsory. To correct you, EB1/EB2 is an alternative route to PR than H1B. The end game is PR, then naturalisation. Nothing can be an alternative to PR. Tranquility2345: How old are you if you don’t mind me asking? If the person don pass 35, make he forget HWS. For work experience, they don’t necessarily expect Africans to get high profile job pre MBA. As long as the person get decent job (with good name like all them PWC, EY, KPMG, Deloitte, etc), 700 or above GMAT and a great essay, and applies early, he can get HSW with small scholarship sef. E go shock you say that Terry won’t give him full ride. Very difficult to get full ride for MBA. Very rare sef. Yes, but one Oluseun Akin (ex-PwC) man in his mid-30s got into UNC, an M7 school after acing GMAT very well. You are also right that they don't expect overly stellar work experiences/companies from Africans, provided it is a reputable company, especially MNCs. We have had folks with Shell, ExxonMobil, and even St Nicholas and 54Gene got into good B-schools. However, I disagree that a full ride is not possible. It is if one can get a very high GMAT. Indians get full rides, which is mainly due to high GMAT scores. These scores are part of ranking assessments and schools fight for high scorers. This is why I believe less popular schools can offer a full ride to someone, especially from a minority group with a high score. HWS are used to top scorers, but Ross, Hass and the likes are not, especially from an African. BTW, it’s not rare to find Africans with 750 and above GMAT o. Many Africans dey clear that number. And for Africans, you ain’t competing with the rest of the world. You are competing with your fellow Africans. All na quota system 🤐 The majority of Africans don't score very high in GMAT and GRE scores. You can check the information online. One Nairalander - Admitwithscholar - shared the link from ETS (makers of GRE). We score poorly in verbal scores than the Chinese, and obviously less in quant. For GMAT, we have an average of 650+. Check the website BusinessBecause. So, just because few Africans score high does not mean on overall we are high scorers. So, 750+ is a rarity, considering our numbers (test takers) are smaller than Indians and Chinese. We should also separate black Africans from North Africans, especially in admission decisions. As far as I’m concerned, if I go HSW, I don’t have to live in yankee or be part of japa crew. I will even prefer to come back to Africa and get a high profile well paid job and maybe even become an entrepreneur with the network of contacts I made from Business School. That is what every applicant says during admission and visa interviews. Currently, Indian students at top B-school are worried they cannot get jobs in the US. Fine, they have loans to repay, but do we even get the opportunity to obtain such loans? This one no be POF as in the UK. India's economy is fast growing, yet Indians are dragging their feet on returning to the motherland after B-school. Our folks who return immediately have wealthier parents who bequeathed them with a strong passport. Trust me, any Nigerian born with a Nigerian passport and was bred in Nigeria would not leave the US immediately after graduating from HWS. Maybe during GEJ years, but not after Buhari destroyed the country's economy and its fabric. During GEJ and OBJ years, folks from the UK returned enmass to work in Nigeria and set up businesses. But today, we have grown men with families selling off their assets to relocate to the West. Then you expect a much younger and probably single dude to return immediately because of a degree from Harvard? As an instance, the Oluseun Akin man has not returned just as the founder of EduBridge, who studied at Kellogg. Ayodele Dada of UNILAG with 5.0 CGPA with PhD from Stanford has not returned o. Bros forget, you won't return. |

Tranquility2345: With a 750 GMAT score, why the fukk will you want to go to a regional no name school for your MBA, when you can get into Harvard, Wharton or Stanford and still get better high profile jobs? Why do people like you like to dream small and be content with being local players when you can go for the best and become big time? Na wa o. You are right about being ambitious. Maybe na old age don make me dey accept some offers. First, a GMAT of 750 is a rarity for sub-Saharan applicants. I was looking at the sure bet of scholarship; a 750+ GMAT score for Terry would come with a full ride. If Terry is too small, Ross is another good. Also consider that most of our people prefer to stay around places they can find other Nigerians, most are older so that fire burning ambition don reduce, most see postgraduate studies as a leeway to japa not necessarily for added knowledge amongst many things. For first class grads, M7 is a good place. Another thing is the calibre of organisations the applicant worked at before B-school. If not prestigious, the person might be OK with a school like Terry, or if we go higher, Rice is another good school, especially as it is in much more wealthier Texas. You made a great point, which tells me that I don dey old. When I was much younger, I for no gree anything outside M7 - T15. |

Most men want more than they are naturally entitled to which is sex with their wives so they are willing to pay for the extra
Bedding females irrespective of species requires some effort from male like toasting, caring, putting up appearances just like we can see in cases of bird singing and dancing for their females just for sex
The real reason is the insatiable demand for sex by men, it doesn't matter if man marries the most brilliant, sexy and caring woman he will still want to taste outside and this call girls are ready to fill in the gap, you can't really blame them
Most men will do same if there's insane demand for what's between their legs unfortunately most penis worth next to nothing in the marketplace and alternate penis substitution are freely, endlessly and readily available, same can't be said of pussy

Kelechi009: Going by these 3 stated reasons, can we also affirm that other African countries have this problem (Internet enabled devices, Access to global trends and Increased poverty)?. We aren't the only poor African country in the continent and also not the poorest, nor the only ones with bad presidents. In my opinion, Nigerians, especially Southern Nigerians, are among the top three most ambitious/money driven Africans. This ambitiousness if wrongly harnessed can lead to a mishap of things. That's the reason other Africans don't indulge in some of the things we do. Regarding poverty, the lady in context did not even try to setup a SPA business or any other related businesses that could generate steady income later on, even after given a blank cheque by the Senator. She insisted on just continuing with her sex trade It's almost like free money, which is very addictive. It's similar to cybercrime. Easy money is hard to let go. Nothing surprising. In fact, judging from history, it's acceptable for women to let go of men who fail to provide. The Bible even despises men who cannot provide for their families.
However, as you will leave him when/if he's broke, please don't expect yourself to be his only woman. Tomorrow, this lass will ignorantly accuse the lad of "cheating" whereas he's exercising his options just as she has vowed to exercise hers when money no dey.
In summary, a society that prohibits financially handicapped men from dating shouldn't expect the same to be with one woman when they're financially comfortable. Obviously, Islam is excluded from this arrangement.
Women who don't like this arrangement have the following options:
- Marry a woman - Marry a much poorer man - Remain single - Become a Reverend sister |

But such would never be my life. There was a group i came across on Instagram, i joined the group. Only to find out that most of the girls in the group chat were mausseuse, i teased one, that as i sent a private message.
The highest she can do was to block, so i hmsaud let me play games with one, and try and see. I sent her a message about how she looks beautiful and how her boyfriend can't dare cheat on her. And how if i could get a girl like her, i search for love, has ended.
So i asked her what she does, she said she does massage. This was how i invited her to my place o, can you believe we were just having sex for a whole week, back to back. Like 6 times in a day.
None of us even spoke about the massage she came to do, the girl was a student.

As I expected, I am accused of making sex work look enticing. This is the result when Nigerians are confronted with the truth, they try to deflect it. The Nairalanders who lampoon me HAVEN'T criticised the men who patronised the girl in question. They never have! I know many like them. In fact, I had a lecturer like that - always sanctimonious when discussing about women, only for me to hear his voice notes from a romp he had with a female classmate. He was even begging to put the tip Mind you, this same was later crowned a knight in his church! Did you see them blame past leaders for the economic ruin? No. Did you see them blame the patrons for the weird fantasies? No. Give 10 Nigerian men 1 million naira, especially in Southern Nigeria, I am betting with this Nairaland account that 7 will pay a hooker for sex once he has provided for the family. I have seen it all! Nigerians' hypocricses aren't surprising. Anyway, as we can now see: - These girls don't have sex with themselves - Nigerian men love sex. Yes, you reading this as a Nigerian man, you love sex. Don't lie. Na because you no get money na why you never patronise hookers even though your wife drafted a sex timetable. - There's a high demand for sexual affairs in the country - The men who whine are largely poorer men - Patrons are willing to patronise, participants are willing to participate. Kelechi009: You're so hell bent on this issue and It's astonishing. Anywhere you see hook-up posts like this, you'd run and create thread
Hookup has never been a thing in Nigeria and the mainstream media such as we have now, what exactly happened in Nigeria that skyrocketed the hook-up culture?. Meanwhile 10 - 20 years ago, growing up I never witnessed hook-ups, even in University years ago It was never an issue until current times. What I knew back then was called Brothels.
You need to research more on what changed between 2010 and 2024, you cannot just be throwing blames at men for the hook-up culture. Testosterone levels in men have not increased in 10 years, It has decreased therefore using testosterone as a reason for blaming men is not accurate. - Proliferation of Internet enabled devices and their affordability. - Access to global trends - Increased poverty largely resulting from Buhari's economic policies. His administration was catastrophic to many families. Families lost their breadwinners, especially in Northern Nigeria and the southeast. Still, it's an industry sustained by the basic laws of supply and demand. Men are the buyers, yet men (poorer men) are the complainers. These men should choose a struggle. |

Finally: Gerrard59: There is this thing I really hate about Nigerian men.
They are so poor, unintelligent, stoopid, foolish, unexposed, bloody riff-riffas, modafvckers, wretched, half-baked educated morons whose greatest achievement is dangling their smelly, flaccid and stench-filled preek along the road shouting alfa meil, alfa meil, alfa meil WITHOUT DEVELOPING THEIR SOCIETY! These cretins will, and have, never lampooned the men who patronise these girls. Never have they done so!
Your men, rich men, fly these girls abroad just to fvck just like almost every man in other places across the world. The difference is that those men have built functioning societies that if the matter gets out of hand, they have the moral right to lampoon their women for being too sexually free. The women, in turn, will either change for the better or keep being sexually free according to the standards of their men. But the monkeys in West Africa who have never experienced constant electricity since they came into this world believe that the best thing they can do is to police the vagina of women. The same vaginas rich men in the same society pay thousands, if not millions to access. These modafvckers and donkeys will never call out their men for not ensuring Nigeria gets prosperous. These baboons will suck a politician's preek who rather spend money to ensure his healthcare system is OK, run to the UK to do a kidney transplant. These idiots, rather than thinking of how to solve the perennial traffic problems or high mortality rates or pervasive insecurity, are more interested in the dating market.
Due to how stoopid these animals are, they don't know that when a society is very poor, the women resort to selling their bodies TO RICH MEN for money. The solution is to ensure that society gets prosperous. And even at that, there will still be women who will do hook-up because there is constant and increasing demand for sex by men due to the hormone- testosterone. The average man globally likes to fvck because of that hormone. But these bastards whose greatest achievement is doing CCTV for woman's vagina stood by the window during their economics and biology classes in secondary school. Assuming they even had classes and the money was not used to ensure the likes of Sonia and Seyi enjoy their lives in London.
Foolish men! I spit on your faces! Frustrated idiots! Gerrard59: Special thanks to Kipaji and efficiencie for the graphs and hilarious comments.
I have previously written here that my parents built their wealthy by owning hotels, which I managed. So, I know the economics behind sex in Nigeria. I have dealt with sexually starved men and seen the extent Nigerian men can do to put their heads inside.
To the topic, Durex has always been expensive depending on the pharmacy it is purchased from. Because of these married men – the majority of men who patronize these girls are married – would not want to be seen with condoms, they rarely take condoms home. So, as a hotel, it is extremely important to stock them for customers’ patronage. As a business, I marked up the price by 200%. It is your choice as a customer to decline buying, but when the sex escort declines to have raw sex (a significant number did raw sex), they resort to buying the condom. I mandated the condoms must be sold in packs rather than sachets, but many men complained since they don’t get to use all the sachets. So, I bent to their wishes by implementing the sachetization of condoms.
The most affordable is Gold Circle, but as inflation hit Nigeria hard especially as the incompetent feudalist by name Buhari ascended to power in 2015 and continued for eight years, GC prices soared. But even as GC prices ballooned, so did Durex. There are alternatives like Kiss, RoughRider and many I cannot tell. I even had a customer who worked with USAID who supplied me with USAID approved condom. I had one who supplied me with UN approved condoms. They were free to me, which I sold at twice the rate of Kiss – which customers preferred.
Durex by patrons is confirmed to be the best and as it offers varieties depending on the user’s desires, it is covers everyone. But it is the most expensive which is easily assessible. There is one by name Ultra black something I cannot recall whose price was very high, but promised near-raw feeling. Near-raw because if it didn’t dey, it didn’t dey.
Whether promiscuous men will reduce their lascivious activities, that would not happen. I had customers who thronged in during COVID. Some men cannot do without sex – it is hormonal, cannot blame them sha. The use of porn majorly works with younger men, not older men who are the major customers and biggest spenders. The demand for sex is very high in Nigeria. The price increase will no doubt lead to an increase in STD/STIs as poorer men will want to risk it. But I strongly advise against this because the benefit in sexual intercourse with various women is very minimal compared to the risks.
The economy does affect escort prices especially outside Lagos, Abuja and Port-harcourt. The prices of escorts has remained steady in parts of Lagos like Lekki, VI and some parts of Ikeja. The same applies to Asokoro, Maitama and Wuse 2. Increased supply of yummy, succulent and beautiful girls should bring down prices, one might think. After all, there is a new 18 year old girl every day. But there is this seemingly belief amongst girls that they would get one big spender, partly true in those locations. But as Nigeria receives fewer tourists compared to say South Africa or Namibia, the number of big spenders will decrease.
So, prices should reduce outside those abovementioned locations. Overall, demand would remain constant. There is a hooge demand for sex by Nigerian men. It is not going anywhere anytime soon. In fact, my advice to escorts is to position them for diasporan folks who will visit Nigeria sexually starved. Except for married men, very few Nigerian males who emigrated recently dey fvck steadily.
To them, £100 will be nothing. To you as an escort, it is everything. The endless tirade against sex workers is tiring. You know what to do. Either you do it or become well-to-do. |

As I have stated countless times on here ( https://www.nairaland.com/7684230/how-reduce-hook-ups-nigeria), men are the patrons of these girls. So, before you begin to type kini kon up and down, remember it is men like you who have preek as you do that pay these girls money. Nigerian men like to fvck, and would spend any amount to fulfil their sexual desires. Apparently, it is not just Nigerian men in Nigeria, but even in the abroad especially the Texas area where their wives have accepted their behaviours as our men fill the clubs and lounges paying hard dollars to baddies and sex workers. Even at that, it is still not a black man's thing, but everywhere as Chinese men spend a lot on escorts in Singapore, Macau and Philippines. In Thailand, Western men aka oyibo fill there for sexual rendezvous. It is a global phenomenon - the average man likes to fvck. It is nature, not nuture. Testosterone is a hormone, not a m.oron. Gerrard59: I read to the end. The major reason I like Nairaland - the real nature of Nigerians is displayed, no forming. This is how the typical Nigerian man spends on sex, and how he loves it. Like I've said countless times here, the average Nigerian man is sex starved. If the country was very liberal, culturally and religiously, like countries in Southern Africa, I doubt sex will be so monetized as it's in Nigeria.
To those who say get a wife or girlfriend, well, that doesn't stop men from patronising prostitutes. It's akin to those who say polygamy stops a man from cheating. In fact, the vast majority of men who patronise prostitutes are married men and those in serious relationships. As long as testosterone exists, men will always desire for sex and spend on it. To some men, sex is a hobby just as a sommelier loves tasting and drinking different wines. There are people who spend a lot on wine tasting and drinking. Hobbies can be addictive, one just has to manage it properly and financially.
Additionally, sex is not free. The belief that it's free is entirely false. Sex is paid for in either kind (offering a job, contract or admission), cash (like opined on this thread) and commitment (marriage/engagement). However, in rare cases, handsome men get sex for free. This is the top 1% of Nigerian men as the vast majority of Nigerian men are ugly (myself inclusive). If you think getting a wife equates free sex, don't drop feeding money or money for her upkeep and beauty products.
In conclusion, the best way to derive benefit from the sex industry is to offer a service or products that patrons and players consume. This could be as a restaurant (my hypothesis says 50% of restaurants in Nigeria will shut down should men be faithful to their partners, ditto 75% of hotels for the same reason), lounges, intimacy gadgets, herbs for sex enhancement etc. Men will always demand for sex, you don't have to play as a patron but as an entrepreneur. That's how my parents built their wealth. Gerrard59: The issue of hook-ups is entirely on Nigerian men. Men sustain the industry, not women. These women don't fvck themselves. The average Nigerian man has an insatiable demand/urge for sex and would do anything to get it. That creates a market, and since women can be the only suppliers, they cater to this demand. If Nigerian men indulge in celibacy, the rate at which young girls resort to hook-up will drastically decline. It is simple economics. Additionally, it is biological because men have testosterone which induces the urge for sex every single day, people who cannot tame it will resort to demanding for sexual intercourse, and another set of people have to supply that demand.
Also, in poorer societies, many women resort to selling their bodies because they have fewer economic opportunities, just like men resort to stealing. In richer nations, the rate is very low. Even in prosperous patriarchal societies, women don't resort to prostitution because they have a high standard of living. For prostitution to reduce (it cannot be eradicated as the average men will ALWAYS want to fvck), Nigeria has to be rich and Nigerian men have to tame their lascivious demands.
I have written about this extensively. The blame is on Nigerian men not the women. Research on testosterone: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/22552705/#:~:text=Sexual%20desire%20is%20typically%20higher,in%20studies%20of%20sexual%20desire. cc: nlfmod; Seun; Mukina2 |
