A consideration of the context of Colossians 2:9 clearly shows that having “divinity,” or “divine nature,” does not make Christ the same as God the Almighty. In the preceding chapter, Paul says: “God saw good for all fullness to dwell in him.” (Col 1:19) Thus, all fullness dwells in Christ because it “pleased the Father” (KJ, Dy), because it was “by God’s own choice.” (NE) So the fullness of “divinity” that dwells in Christ is his as a result of a decision made by the Father. Further showing that having such “fullness” does not make Christ the same person as Almighty God is the fact that Paul later speaks of Christ as being “seated at the right hand of God.”—Col 3:1.

Considering the immediate context of Colossians 2:9, it is noted that in verse 8, Christians are warned against being misled by those who advocate philosophy and human tradition. They are also told that “carefully concealed in [Christ] are all the treasures of wisdom and of knowledge,” and they are urged to “go on walking in union with him, rooted and being built up in him and being stabilized in the faith.” (Col 2:3, 6, 7) In addition, verses 13 to 15 explain that they are made alive through faith, being released from the Law covenant. Paul’s argument, therefore, is that Christians do not need the Law (which was removed by means of Christ) or human philosophy and tradition. They have all they need, a precious “fullness,” in Christ.—Col 2:10-12.

Finally, at 2 Peter 1:3, 4 the apostle shows that by virtue of “the precious and very grand promises” extended to faithful anointed Christians, they “may become sharers in divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world through lust.” Elsewhere in the Scriptures, Christians are referred to as ‘sharing’ with Christ in his sufferings, in a death like his, and in a resurrection like his to immortality as spirit creatures, becoming joint heirs with him in the heavenly Kingdom. (1Co 15:50-54; Php 3:10, 11; 1Pe 5:1; 2Pe 1:2-4; Re 20:6) Thus it is evident that the sharing of Christians in “divine nature” is a sharing with Christ in his glory.

The verb form “to divine” generally means to employ divination, a practice directly condemned by Jehovah God.—De 18:10-12

“It is in him that all the fullness of the divine quality dwells bodily.” (Col. 1:19; 2:9) Having been with his heavenly Father for aeons of time, Jesus knows better than anyone else the personality and will of God. Throughout his earthly ministry, Jesus taught others what his Father had taught him and reflected in his actions the qualities that his Father had nurtured in him. Colossians:2:9 For in Christ there is all of God in a human body;

Now there's only one mention of the Greek word theotetos but what they translate is theotes, common sense states both are not the same word, why not translate the main word. I agree it's not the same word theias which defined as divine, deity, divinity, Godlike. It even goes more to show that theotetos probably has a meaning that wasn't properly translated to English. So instead of debating Greek, let's look at all of what is written

So no matter what you want to make of the verse, it doesn't change the fact that Jesus said God is in him, the Father is in him and he is in the Father but still he never said not equated himself to God this is important especially since you quoted Paul saying we shouldn't use human philosophy, if Jesus himself who explains the Father being in him, who says Father and himself are one, says the Father is greater than He is, then why you do believe that he is the Father? Are you not confused?!

Now here says All of God, All that is from God, whether you call it fullness, God's nature, God's form, all of the Spirit of God. All join, Jesus Christ had that in him, now because all of that is in Jesus does that make him God, so then we who have Christ is us are also God as well?!

But it does start from verses 8, glad you quoted verses 3 as well so

Col.2.6&7 - And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to live in obedience to him. Let your roots grow down into him and draw up nourishment from him, so you will grow in faith, strong and vigorous in the truth you were taught. Let your lives overflow with thanksgiving for all he has done.

Paul is stating that everything we need for life and godliness is in Christ, God put it all in Christ for us. So let's not be distracted. Instead of understanding what Paul is saying you are trying to validate a false doctrine from a sentence

Col.1.19 - For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, and by him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of his blood on the cross.

So our real Savior isn't Christ but YHVH who worked through him, like he did through Moses for the people of Israel, that's why Jesus said I can do nothing on my own, the father works so I work. Does God not work in us as well and through us all

So instead of thinking that you are God or that Christ is God and in turn you are as well

Col.3.2 - Let heaven fill your thoughts. Do not think only about things down here on earth.
3 - For you died when Christ died, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God.
4 - And when Christ, who is your real life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.

I tell you the truth as it is in the Bible. Many of the signs to look for appear subtle and irrelevant but they are what they are, signs:

*A man of God especially a young one will show enough humility by not allowing himself be called papa or father or make it a title. - Matthew 23:9

* A man of God will by his life and preaching discourage abortion. Abortion is murder. - Exodus 21:22,23.

* A man of God will not encourage believe in the trinity. Trinity is blasphemy against God and it’s a doctrine of demons. - Mark 12:29

* God has a personal name different from his several titles, sobriquets and appellations. A man of God will intentionally and consistently expose and use Gods name. John 17:26.

* A man of God will not collect tithes. - 2Corinthians 9:7.

These above signs look trivial, but God is loving and he has made identifying true worship easy for sincere people.
Granted, 90+% of churches are guilty of the above and that in itself is a sign because narrow is the way that leads to salvation and it’s even few people that finds it to start with. Millions that are calling christ name or that are being called Christians and that even perform miracles in the name of Jesus will at the end discover that Christ do not know them. Eschew sentiments. Serve God on his terms. Do not add or remove a dot from the Bible.

Since when i was in my early teens, i have been finding it hard to comprehend and believe the Trinity. I'm often told that I need to believe God as mystery. So i wonder, how can I know or walk with a mystery God?
I also wonder if the the disciples and the early church understand God as three persons in one God or one God in three persons or just one singular God, a person?

The question here is if the holy spirit taught the apostles and first believers everything and led them into all truth, why are we still left to believe God as mystery?
Another question is those that established the Trinity doctrine years later after the early christians, were they led by the holy spirit?

HOW THE BIBLE SURVIVED : First, although some Bible copyists were careless or even deceitful, many others were highly skilled and meticulous. They reportedly counted the words and the letters to verify that no mistakes crept in. Where they suspected errors in the master text they were using, they noted these in the margin. THE RESULT : Rather than corrupting the Bible text, the age and multitude of Bible manuscripts have actually improved it. “No other ancient book has anything like such early and plentiful testimony to its text,” wrote Sir Frederic Kenyon about the Christian Greek Scriptures, “and no unbiased scholar would deny that the text that has come down to us is substantially sound.” And regarding the Hebrew Scriptures, scholar William Henry Green stated: “It may be safely said that no other work of antiquity has been so accurately transmitted.”

"What occurred at the Council of Nicea?"

The Council of Nicea took place in AD 325 by order of the Roman Emperor Caesar Flavius Constantine. Nicea was located in Asia Minor, east of Constantinople. At the Council of Nicea, Emperor Constantine presided over a group of church bishops and other leaders with the purpose of defining the nature of God for all of Christianity and eliminating confusion, controversy, and contention within the church. The Council of Nicea overwhelmingly affirmed the deity and eternality of Jesus Christ and defined the relationship between the Father and the Son as “of one substance.” It also affirmed the Trinity—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit were listed as three co-equal and co-eternal Persons.

Constantine, who claimed conversion to Christianity, called for a meeting of bishops to be held in Nicea to resolve some escalating controversies among the church leadership. The issues being debated included the nature of Jesus Christ, the proper date to celebrate Easter, and other matters. The failing Roman Empire, now under Constantine’s rule, could not withstand the division caused by years of hard-fought, “out of hand” arguing over doctrinal differences. The emperor saw the quarrels within the church not only as a threat to Christianity but as a threat to society as well. Therefore, at the Council of Nicea, Constantine encouraged the church leaders to settle their internal disagreements and become Christlike agents who could bring new life to a troubled empire. Constantine felt “called” to use his authority to help bring about unity, peace, and love within the church.

The main theological issue had always been about Christ. Since the end of the apostolic age, Christians had begun debating these questions: Who is the Christ? Is He more divine than human or more human than divine? Was Jesus created or begotten? Being the Son of God, is He co-equal and co-eternal with the Father, or is He lower in status than the Father? Is the Father the one true God, or are the Father, Son, and Spirit the one true God?

A priest named Arius presented his argument that Jesus Christ was not an eternal being, that He was created at a certain point in time by the Father. Bishops such as Alexander and the deacon Athanasius argued the opposite position: that Jesus Christ is eternal, just like the Father is. It was an argument pitting trinitarianism against monarchianism.

Constantine prodded the 300 bishops in the council make a decision by majority vote defining who Jesus Christ is. The statement of doctrine they produced was one that all of Christianity would follow and obey, called the “Nicene Creed.” This creed was upheld by the church and enforced by the Emperor. The bishops at Nicea voted to make the full deity of Christ the accepted position of the church. The Council of Nicea upheld the doctrine of Christ’s true divinity, rejecting Arius’s heresy. The council did not invent this doctrine. Rather, it only recognized what the Bible already taught.

The New Testament teaches that Jesus the Messiah should be worshipped, which is to say He is co-equal with God. The New Testament forbids the worship of angels (Colossians 2:18; Revelation 22:8, 9) but commands worship of Jesus. The apostle Paul tells us that “in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form” (Colossians 2:9; 1:19). Paul declares Jesus as Lord and the One to whom a person must pray for salvation (Romans 10:9-13; cf. Joel 2:32). “Jesus is God overall” (Romans 9:5) and our God and Savior (Titus 2:13). Faith in Jesus’ deity is basic to Paul’s theology.

John’s Gospel declares Jesus to be the divine, eternal Logos, the agent of creation and source of life and light (John 1:1-5,9); "the Way, the Truth, and the Life" (John 14:6); our advocate with the Father (1 John 2:1-2); the Sovereign (Revelation 1:5); and the Son of God from the beginning to the end (Revelation 22:13). The author of Hebrews reveals the deity of Jesus through His perfection as the most high priest (Hebrews 1; Hebrews 7:1-3). The divine-human Savior is the Christian’s object of faith, hope, and love.

The Council of Nicea did not invent the doctrine of the deity of Christ. Rather, the Council of Nicea affirmed the apostles’ teaching of who Christ is—the one true God and the Second Person of the Trinity, with the Father and the Holy Spirit.

N.B: It is not known why the term "Trinity" was adopted by these 300 Bishops assembled by Constantine the Great, because throughout the Biblical teachings through the Prophets and other writers until the time of Christ manifestations there was no concrete expository teachings in the Bible equating the power of Christ to God Almighty either in substance or in authority but that these two personalities are different and distinct beings with a clear definition of superiority from God Almighty (Yahweh) to Jesus Christ (God's Almighty Only  Begotten Son), sent from above, which was clearly against their positions at this meeting on Trinity. One unique outcome from this Episcopal meeting at the Council of Nicea is that, Jesus Christ remains a Divine Being that deserves to be worshipped as mandated upon him by His Father in Heaven, God Almighty. 

"Who was Constantine the Great?"

Constantine the Great (AD 280—337) was one of Rome’s most powerful and successful emperors and the first to self-identify as a Christian. He is known for his economic, political, and military achievements, as well as his religious reforms. Medieval writers praised him as the ideal ruler, against whom all kings were measured. Over time, his reign was viewed with waning enthusiasm. Historians also began to debate how committed Constantine was to Christianity or how devoutly he actually followed it. Constantine was influential in Christian history for his personal faith, religious politics, issuing the Edict of Milan, and calling the Council of Nicea.

Constantine was the son of a Roman official and his Christian concubine. This placed him in line to succeed the throne of the Western Roman Empire. At age 31, he prepared to attack his chief rival with an army outnumbered 4-to-1. Before the battle, Constantine claimed to have seen a vision of Jesus, with a specific symbol, telling him, “By this sign, conquer.” Constantine ordered his troops to mark their shields with this symbol, the Chi-Rho, then a symbol commonly representing Christianity. The Chi-Rho combines the first two letters in the Greek word for “Christ” and resembles a capital P with an X drawn through the spine. Constantine’s forces routed the enemy, and he became emperor. The Chi-Rho symbol would be part of Constantine’s personal signature for the rest of his life.

As emperor, Constantine issued the Edict of Milan, which declared Roman citizens free to worship whatever gods they chose. The Edict of Milan ended longstanding persecution of Christians in the Roman Empire. At that time, Constantine did not (yet) claim to be a Christian himself, nor did he advocate for an official state religion. Based on his continued use of certain pagan symbols, scholars believe Constantine’s early religion was generally theistic, rather than specifically Christian. His boldness in using Christian language grew during his reign. After assuming control of the entire Roman Empire, he built lavish churches and came to openly espouse Christianity.

During Constantine’s reign, controversy arose over the teachings of Arius, who denied the full divinity of Jesus. Constantine called a meeting of Christian bishops, the Council of Nicea, to settle the dispute. Contrary to popular myth, this meeting did not discuss the canon of the Bible, nor was Constantine influential in the council’s decisions. Emperors saw themselves as responsible for promoting “correct” forms of worship; Constantine’s interest was not to declare orthodoxy but to let the bishops determine it so that he could enforce it. Further, Constantine was not known for his philosophical ability and found himself lost in deeper discussions of theology. Rather, he acted as the council’s mediator and host, roles at which he excelled.

Constantine’s Christian faith has frequently been critiqued, if not questioned outright. On one hand, he made great strides in securing political and social rights for Christians and initiating general humanitarian reforms. He poured time and money into building churches and publicly supporting Christianity. Particularly toward the end of his reign, Constantine vocally professed faith in Christ and credited his success to God. He was baptized shortly before his death, according to the common practice of his time.

On the other hand, Constantine continued many pagan practices, including veneration of the sun. His interest in Christian orthodoxy was motivated primarily by a desire to maintain social order. There are also reasons to suspect that Constantine was as ruthless toward rivals as prior emperors had been. One of his sons, a brother-in-law, and his second wife were executed for reasons still unknown. He freely blended pagan practices with Christian beliefs, leading scholars to suggest his public adoption of Christianity might have been a savvy political move, linking him to a rising social force in the Roman Empire.

Ultimately, whether Constantine was a committed Christian, a shrewd, Christian-friendly politician, or something in between is an open question. Without doubt, he ended centuries of persecution and greatly enhanced the social standing of Christianity. He committed resources to churches and Christian education, and his leadership helped to clarify important Christian doctrines. However, Constantine’s actions resulted in some negative complications. Free from persecution, the church naturally attracted more false converts. The melding of Christian themes with secular politics set a pattern that contributed to later disasters such as the Inquisition and the Crusades. Constantine’s blending of pagan, building-and-priest-centered worship with Christianity also contributed to the rise of Roman Catholicism.

Constantine’s legacy is complex and not wholly understood, but he stands as one of the dominant figures in Christian history. Without doubt, his influence transformed Christianity from a persecuted minority into the eventual state religion of the Roman Empire and the most widespread faith in history.

There is a particular verse people who don't believe Jesus is God often pull out from the Bible to butress their point. But the sad part for them is that the verse actually proves he is God. The verse is usually used by Jehovah's witnesses and Muslims to state that Jesus is not God and that the Trinity doctrine is false. Read the verse below.



Luke 18:18-19

Jehovah's witnesses and Muslims are always quick to show people this verse. They say Jesus said it is only God that is good, which means every other being including Jesus are not good. To them, that alone proves he is not God. But is that what Jesus said? Let's examine his words.


“Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God."

Lets ask them a question: Is Jesus Christ good? Their obvious answer will be an emphatic YES.

Now, if they agree that Jesus is good, while he says that only God is good, isn't that a clear admittance that Jesus is God?

The Bible which Jehovah's witnesses think they believe in strongly points out how good Jesus is. The Quran which Muslims believe in does the same.

The above Bible verses show that Jesus was sinless all through his stay on Earth. Being sinless means you are good. If Jehovah's witnesses believe Jesus is good, then they should also believe he is God because he clearly stated so. There's no way they can say he is not good, because it will mean that God offered an imperfect sacrifice for the redemption of mankind, which isn't so.

If the Bible and Quran both agree that Jesus was sinless, faultless and good, then it means He is God. His statement that only God is good is a clear statement that He is God because He is Good.

The question now is, Was it God who came to die for us?

That account at John 3:16, simply shows that there is seniority in the relationship between God and his son.It also, shows that God is more powerful and has greater authority. Also, it shows that the two entities are distinct. God is God, our creator while Jesus is the firstborn son or creation(Colossians 1:15).

God was not created but Jesus was created.

Yet, people still open their eyes wide open and let religious leaders deceive them that God, the Ancient of Days, The Alpha and the Omega, and his creation, his first born son are equal and are one.

Can a father and his son be mate?

The Bible book of John 14:28 States in part:

'the Father is greater than I am'.

Now, this quote was made by Jesus himself.Does this not show, that even Jesus is well aware that he is below his father, and not equal to God.

Yet people keep saying God, and his son and holy spirit are equal.

This "false Christ" or "The man of sin" opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

Take note; while Paul was preaching to the Athenians he said, "God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwells not in temples made with hands. Neither is worshiped with men hands". And Christ also said, "the hour comes and this is the time when the true worshiper shall worship the Father in Spirit and in Truth.

Notice, that Paul do not believe that God still dwells in Solomon's temple at Jerusalem. Rather, Paul believes that God dwells in you and your body is the temple of God.

Therefore, it is very obvious that this "false christ" is not coming as a man to seat at Solomon's temple, but as a spirit (the seducing spirits) to seat in the mind of men. And most definitely, this is the three unclean spirits seen by John; come out of the mouth of the dragon (satan), and out of the mouth of the beast (false Christ), and out of the mouth of the false prophet. Which are the spirits of devils, working miracles. Because the coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan (the devil), with all power, signs, and lying wonders.

Understand that this "daily sacrifice" cannot be the meat and the drink offered by the Jews, because the Jews offer sacrifices only on the appointed days. But the sacrifices of praise and thanksgiving offered to God through Jesus Christ is a "daily sacrifice". Hence, this "false christ" will take away the worship made to God through Jesus Christ for himself. And as Paul said earlier the "place of Christ tabernacle" is our mind and our body is his temple. Therefore, this "false christ" will cast down the truth in the mind of the people to the ground. (Daniel 8:12)
However, John saw that men worshiped the beast (the false Christ) and they also worshiped the dragon which gave power unto the beast. Now who is the dragon? He is called the Devil and without controversy, the spirits of devils proceeds from the Devil. Therefore, he is the "seducing spirit"
(Rev 13:4)
Understand, the scripture says he will "magnified himself even to the "Prince of the host" "showing himself that he is God". Which is very evident in the trinity doctrine; which is made up of God the Father (whom they presume to worship), the son (the false christ) and the false holy ghost (the seducing spirit), making themselves equal with the only true God, the Father. Thereby showing himself that he is God also.
Hence, John saw "the false christ" open his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name. Now what is blasphemy? It means to make oneself equal with God or express disrespect for God. Thus, It is obvious that this "false Christ" and "the seducing spirit" will make themselves equal with the only true God, the Father.

Moreover, some will ask why would devil include God in his doctrine; recall that James said that "if you believe that there is one God; you do well: but the devils also believe and tremble. Hence, it's obvious that God the Father is indispensable even in the doctrines of the devils. Because even the devils tremble or worship God the Father.

In Matthew 16:15-16, Jesus asks, “Who do you say I am?” Peter answers, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God,” and for this answer Peter is called “blessed.” In 2 John 9, we read, “Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.” In other words, Jesus Christ and His work of redemption is of utmost importance; beware of anyone who denies that Jesus is equal with God, who downplays Jesus’ sacrificial death, or who rejects Jesus’ humanity. As nice as they sound, the statements “God loves you,” “God wants us to feed the hungry,” and “God wants you to be wealthy” are not the complete message of the gospel. As Paul warns in Galatians 1:7, “Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ.” No one, not even a great preacher, has the right to change the message that God gave us. “If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!” (Galatians 1:9).

3) Does this teacher exhibit character qualities that glorify the Lord? Speaking of false teachers, Jude 11 says, “They have taken the way of Cain; they have rushed for profit into Balaam’s error; they have been destroyed in Korah’s rebellion.” In other words, a false teacher can be known by his pride (Cain’s rejection of God’s plan), greed (Balaam’s prophesying for money), and rebellion (Korah’s promotion of himself over Moses). Jesus said to beware of such people and that we would know them by their fruits (Matthew 7:15-20).

For further study, review those books of the Bible that were written specifically to combat false teaching within the church: Galatians, 2 Peter, 1 John, 2 John, and Jude. It is often difficult to spot a false teacher/false prophet. Satan masquerades as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14), and his ministers masquerade as servants of righteousness (2 Corinthians 11:15). Only by being thoroughly familiar with the truth will we be able to recognize a counterfeit.

The trinity doctrine teaches that God the Father, the Son and the Holyspirit are equal and one and the same God.
   Although a very popular and widely accepted doctrine among christains the trinity doctrine is unbiblical and not in accordance with the word of God. The word Trinity does not appear in the Bible neither was such doctrine taught by the Apostles or known to the early Christains.

Implications of the Trinity doctrine.

This doctrine has severe implications and consequences as it teaches that Jesus is not the literal Son of God,that Jesus is the same age as the father and has always existed along side him but this will make them twins and not a real  Father and Son it also teaches that the holyspirit is a being  Co-equal and  co-eternal making them triplets.

Thus the trinity doctrine denies that both the father and son are two different persons thus it denies their personality or persons.

Apostle Paul taught Christains that the Antichrist is anyone or teaching that denies Jesus is the son of God and thus denies the father and son  1John2:22-23,1john 4:3
It distorts who God says he is.
The doctrine of trinity also lends credance  or promotes the Catholic teaching that Mary is the mother of God  since it claims Jesus is   God and Co-equal to God. It is not surprising that this trinity doctrine was instituted by the usual suspects the Catholic Church and they claim it is the foundation on which all other of there teachings is based on.

Note:The angel that delivered the message  to Virgin  Mary  told her that the  child will be called( the Son of God) and not God. Nothing stops God from describing Jesus as God or his twin or avatar, rather he  used the adjective SON of God to distinguish him from the Father.

The trinity doctrine cannot be proved in the Bible neither does it have any divine origin or inspiration.
It is one of those man made doctrines that have crept into Christaintity. it is unacceptable to God and contracdicts God's word about himself.

Worship of The False Jesus of The Trinity


We must make a point clear about the Lord Jesus before we proceed, that He is not the second person of the Trinity nor is the Father the first person, nowhere was He called a second person of trinity in scripture, and that the Trinity doctrine does not originate from God. The religious people of the world believes the Lord Jesus to be equal with the Father. Their unfruitful argument is crushed when we look into 1 Corinthians 15:27-28; For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith, all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. If the Son shall be subject unto the Father, then have we been duped by Trinitarians.

If we would look into what Jesus said about the Father, this would solidify our claim. John 14:28; Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I. That seems quite obvious. So the crowd says what about Matthews 28:19 and 1 John 5:7-8? After much research we realised that these verses were not in scripture until after AD 300, they were added to strengthen the Trinity doctrine, these are mere interpolations. If the best verses to support such false doctrine were added to scripture does not that make it even more suspicious?

Another stronghold of the trinitarians is found in John 1:1, let us get the true interpretation so we would no longer be tossed about by every wind of false doctrine. John 1:1; In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was (a) God. The confusion for most people often springs up from the "and the Word was God," we would be saved if we had interpreted as "and the Word was (a) God," for the latter is as accurate as the former. Jesus is a God Who Has a God, this is strengthened by Psalms 45:7; Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. And also Revelation 3:12; Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. If Jesus was equal with the Father, would the Father be His God?

The trinitarians argue that their god is not three but one, three personalities but one god. If there be three personalities, that simply is three gods. This has led most to serious confusion, some don't believe the Bible anymore because of this fatal error. Is God an author of confusion? Is He willing to befuddle His children and leave them beclouded? No! God never wills to leave us confused, this is why Christ Jesus sent forth the Holy Ghost to lead us into all truth. But trinitarians believe God himself to be a mystery and an author of confusion, and that's not God, but Satan. Another confusion here is about the Holy Ghost. They believe the Holy Ghost to be the third person of the trinity which is another falsehood. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit that fills the Father and the Son, the very life of the Father and the Son, He is often referred to as the Spirit of God. What sort of Spirit is he? A holy Spirit! What sort of Spirit is Jesus and the Father? Holy Spirit! Has the Holy Ghost a separate personality apart from the Father and the Son? For this is the Spirit of the Father, can His characteristics be different from One Who owns Him or from His Source? Herein lies the confusion, the Spirit of God is the complete representative or manifestation of the Father and also the Son. Nowhere did the apostles prayed or sang to the Holy Ghost. Prayers are offered in the Holy Spirit to the Father in Jesus name.

As the spirit in man is subject to man, for the spirit of the prophet is subject to the prophet, so is the Holy Ghost to the Father and the Son. Saying the Holy Ghost is equal to the Father is the same with saying the Father is equal to the Father. That appears unreasonable of course. For the Father is a holy Spirit! God is Spirit. For the Spirit manifests the persons and presence and power and glory of the Father and the Son. Isa.44.25 I (YHVH) am the one who exposes the false prophets as liars by causing events to happen that are contrary to their predictions. I cause wise people to give bad advice, thus proving them to be fools.

If you sincerely believe that mere confession would save you, then who ever taught you that is helping the devil destroy you. Believe doesn't lead only to confession either of your sins or that Jesus is Lord but true believe leads to obedience to God, and to the one true God revealed by his son Jesus Christ.

No matter how many times you shout or call the name Jesus you will not get saved, salvation is through the name of Jesus by being baptized in his name, believing in Jesus and obeying his words, believing that the son of God who died and rose is our Lord and Christ and obeying the commandments to love God and love others as yourself.

We should know that to believe in the name of Jesus doesn't mean to call upon the name of Jesus. To call upon a name is to pray to that name or person. A name signifies authority, authority has been given to Jesus but does that mean God doesn't have authority anymore, no it doesn't. To believe in a name, is to believe in that person's authority.

I have usually excused some of these things (teachings) as human error but in as we are weak as long as we are willing, just as the spirit of God lead the church in Acts in it's growth, he will lead us into correction as well unless if that which is in us is not of God. But the root of such human error should not be said to be from God, it was not the spirit of God that made some rise up and claim circumcision was necessary for salvation so also it is not the spirit of God that adds things Jesus never commanded us to do especially when they contradict the love that Jesus preached and taught. Note love doesn't condone evil nor harbor it.

Many times we fall victim to false preaching, false teaching and false prophecy because many of us do not have the time to get to know God nor have the Holy Spirit and the understanding of God's word. Imagine someone who works mornings to evening Monday to Friday only opens the bible on Sundays and even if they do read during the week, do they spend time studying it? This has lead to mass deception and acceptance of error.

In truth THEY WERE NEVER SENT BY GOD OR HIS SON IN THE FIRST PLACE

Instead of believing and turning to the one true sovereign YHVH, the Almighty Most High God, the creator of heavens and earth. They want you to believe that God became three persons, Father, son and Holy Spirit, so what happened to God when he became three persons doesn't that mean they are saying God doesn't exist but what exists are three gods.

The one called son of God is not god the son, God made Jesus Lord and not god the son, whoever is god the son is an associate of darkness, claiming to be God, the false christ coming to the world. John 20:31 that you may believe that Jesus is the son of God and not that you should believe that Jesus is God.

But where will your lies end, when will the deceit be finished, it will be after the false Christ has been revealed and accepted then Jesus Christ appears in God's glory and destroys it.

2Pet.2.2 - Many will follow their evil teaching and shameful immorality. And because of them, Christ and his true way will be slandered.
2Pet.2.3 - In their greed they will make up clever lies to get hold of your money. But God condemned them long ago, and their destruction is on the way.

You collect and claim to pay tithes God never asked nor commanded you for, making up clever lies with scripture to enrich yourself -windows of heaven will up not treasures you expect but a flood to destroy those who lie against God and use his name in vain.

1John.4.2 This is the way to find out if they have the Spirit of God: If a prophet acknowledges that Jesus Christ became a human being, that person has the Spirit of God.

But you all claim Jesus is God and was God and not a human, you lie that he became both God and human, but here is states that Jesus became human.

1John.4.5 - These people belong to this world, so they speak from the world's viewpoint, and the world listens to them. (6) - But we belong to God; that is why those who know God listen to us. If they do not belong to God, they do not listen to us. That is how we know if someone has the Spirit of truth or the spirit of deception.

They told there are three gods you believed, yet when the true God speaks to you through us, you refuse to listen because you do not know Him.

You have rightly quoted, 2Tim.3.8 And these teachers fight the truth just as Jannes and Jambres fought against Moses. Their minds are depraved, and their faith is counterfeit.

For their own gains but to the end their destruction, they withstood him who God has chosen, trying to lead the people to destruction with their lies. But you see Paul was even clearer about such people

Yes, and everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. But evil people and impostors will flourish. They will go on deceiving others, and they themselves will be deceived. 2 Timothy 3:12-13

Now because you are excelling in your evil ways and believe doesn't mean you are right, but the more you deceive others to go against God's word the more you deceive yourself as well

2Tim.4.3 - For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to right teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever they want to hear. (4)- They will reject the truth and follow strange myths.

Have you all not rejected the truth that Jesus is the son of God, God's faithful, righteous and true servant but believe and follow strange stories and myths, calculations and formulations of men, fables of gods, and a god the son.

Are you not supposed to learn from scripture

The Lord your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul. It is the Lord your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him. That prophet or dreamer must be put to death for inciting rebellion against the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt and redeemed you from the land of slavery. That prophet or dreamer tried to turn you from the way the Lord your God commanded you to follow. You must purge the evil from among you. Deuteronomy 13: 2 - 5

Yet you follow the said evil willingly because of the signs and wonders you lust after. If you will not turn to the one true God through his son Jesus Christ who will save you?!
