Now that SS are fully pdp, we should be expecting all round development and less poverty in the land, insecurity should be tackled, because it seems APC is the reason while they are backward despite the that they are the richest in the country with the 13% derivation
You dey mind the hypocrites? They are liberated but will still be back here to lament the failures in their shithole states and not mind their business
Politics › Re: Lagos Must Be Free! The 2023 Slogan for Lagos by Goke7: 2:16pm On Sep 20, 2020
Philipponzaghi:
Shut up. Abuja has standard international Airport since God knows when while the ports in the SS are working.

Why hasn’t Abuja made the same wealth as Lagos? Beside government activities what other economic activities is in Abuja in terms of industry, commerce, entertainment, IT, FinTech, Business, and etc.

Lagos is the highest pool of intellectuals in this country and the reason why Lagos is ahead is due to the fact that it is situated where Human Resources are concentrated.

Its waterways is also some form of natural resources and Lagos understand how to maximize the waterways to its benefit more than other state with the same resources. Do you know they already have a port since 1909 or so?

Nigeria saw Lagos as a leading light in the first place and made use of her glory.
Don't mind the fools, their fustration is other states including their shithole states can never catch up with Lagos in any parameter.

They are just bitter and nothing more

Just left Oniru just now and you need to see what that's entire hard rock cafe road was from end to end you will think a bitter civil war was fought there ...you call Lagos the best managed state?
If you are the one in charge, can you do better? You lots can't even manage your own homes yet you whine online.

This craziness about lagos on nairaland is becoming more of hating the good you see in others. If Lagos is really crap then leave and relocate to a better managed state, na by force?

Lagos is Fulani clay and they will have it when this country goes full Yugoslavia.

You will be driven off from there to IDP camps in Benin Republic and Togo.

Stop asking me foolish questions

Go and do a survey if all infrastructure in Lagos developed prior to and after Independence.

FYI, the British maintained Lagos as a protectorate separate from the western region and every thing they constructed in Lagos came out from the national purse. This continued up till Abuja was made the capital in 1992.

Ingrate parasites claiming Lagos

Lagos is not Yaribanza land it belongs to Nigeria .
statements like this is the reason you guys will always fail cos your target is not even tinubu but Lagos assets which you can never have

Well, I live in Accra, Ghana. I have never had problems with electricity. Yes, occasionally we do have issues, but electricity is very stable in aGhana.
what if I tell you where I live in Lagos, I enjoy very stable electricity except occasional issues and is the reality. If one is on pre-paid, those discos now know areas concentrated with pre-paid meters hence they make electricity more stable in such areas for their revenue to keep growing.

How much do you know about Ghana to type this rubbish huh
Does Lagos compare with Ghana on water, electricity, health, enrolment in government schools, roads etc apart from economy that is shared by millions of people and is not fairly distributed?
stop this electricity gibberish, I work remotely with folks in Ghana and they complain bitterly about poor electricity that they can't even attend some of our meetings or complete some of their tasks at work

This is deep

I also hypothetically think they suffer from post war defeat inferiority complex... They always try to prove through falasy something to others while others are busy with their own lives

.
They just want to continue to check to know if they have gotten ahead of the yorubas. The day they can surely confirm they are now ahead they will be satisfied and stop wailing but they keep getting fustrated that the yorubas keep getting ahead.

One thing I have come to realize is that the igbos are not very good pioneers and innovators, they are just good in copy and paste. They keep trying to see how much they can copy what they see in other places back in their land and I must say they are really trying, that's why they want airports, sea ports(even though I don't know where they want to put it) and so on.

But they need to be more innovative to create models that can make their land uniquely developed else they will keep getting fustrated in what they see in other places especially Yoruba land which can never be theirs and keep blaming others for their woes.

Fashola is keeping a low profile. He is kuku still a minister.

I think I prefer Fashola too. That guy is daring and strong with the will to step on toes to effect real changes.

Prof. Osinbajo is too gentle and soft to lead Nigeria.
The odds against fashola and tinubu is religion. This may be difficult to convince the christians in youruba land that the likes of Oyedepo and other pastors have confused. This is where osinbajo may be the best option. Personally I would have preferred a fashola but having another muslim president after another for 8 years might be tricky.
Christianity Etc › Re: When Daddy Freeze Called Bishop Oyedepo "Bald-Headed Fowl" (Video) by Goke7: 4:22pm On Sep 10, 2020
saajus:
I am not Ibiyeomie fan. I like Freeze, I like his messages, but he is as guilty as Ibiyeomie. Go to his page and see how he insults people that have contrary opinions to him. Sometimes, he uses physical attributes. Why is he crying foul now because someone gave him a taste of his medicines, but in a higher form?
He called himself a man of God too, but hear what he said in this video:

- bald-headed fowl – he's referring to Oyedepo. Even, if Oyedepo was wrong, he shouldn't be calling him such a name

This video is a complete one. In the same short video message, he said
- Aye baba yin o ni da - it means it won't be well to the parents of people abusing him.
- Iya baba, baba Iya - he was insulting someone's parents too.

The only problem I have with Ibiyeomie is that he didn't insult Freeze alone. He insulted broadcasters, Somalians, and mixed-race people. Tbh, it's not everybody that knows the word half-caste is offensive. I used to say it when I was young.
the part were the pastor said 'does he look like a Nigerian' was damn funny mhen, chai that was too bad o

What other options, the army has been chasing bokoboys for 10years and gana for 5years, the Governors only accepted the reality that the army cannot end anything soon, it's better to give money to bandits and they genuinely ceasefire than to continue giving to the army and the state kept on losing lives and properties to their activities.
Time to stop dreaming and embrace reality
Imagine the army calling for recruitment recently and people replying we are not interested, you want to sacrifice us to bokoharam. The army is overwhelmed already
what reality, does amnesty solve anything? No bandits will receive money and stop banditry, let's stop deceiving ourselves, Katsina gave amnesty to bandits, are they free now? has amnesty stop boko haram so far?

Sincerely this should be the way to go for this harden criminal. According to news making rounds, this is the second time he is going to see amnesty wft! huh ...The way forward should be inviting all this harden criminal for amnesty then give the army intel to go and eliminate them on their way.. All this amnesty really is for them to come and cash in from the government and not really cause they've changed... For boko haram "repentant" terrorist na inside bus rigged with explosive them suppose put em and detonate... Nothing like repentant harden criminal undecided
I don't buy the amnesty nonsense, its an insult to the memories and families of all the victims of their crimes, we all condemned the recent govt program on repentant terrorists lately, when are we going to learn for God's sake.

all these amnesty up and down will do this country no good o, reason we have banditry all over the place cos they believe one day govt will bribe them to surrender
