Mogidi:
Agbaje scored nearly as much as Ambode yet conceded, in Rivers the APC had a shortfall of 1million votes.
How many PDP states did you see blood flowing? Gej called Buhari to concede defeat, Kaduna gov called El-Rufai to concede defeat.
APC never accepts defeat and this is playing out to all Nigerians to see.
My question is just like Lagos, the pdp would have still won in rivers but why did they have to do it in a commando style, if apc had done that in Lagos, will you not be asking if that was the change they were talking about?

For your information the pdp candidate in ogun state is yet to concede and congratulate Amosun even though amosun did not burn down ogun state, their margin too was very close like lagos so what's your point?
Politics › Re: Amaechi Replies Obanikoro: I Will Not Congratulate Wike, It’s Daylight Robbery by Goke7: 8:55am On Apr 15, 2015
A lot of people are missing the point here, the pdp would have still won the election in Rivers state since its more of a pdp state than apc but why did the pdp have to turn rivers state to a war zone because of election? that is the question?

I bet you if the ruling party in Lagos state was pdp and they had a stiff oppositon from another party which fielded agbaje who actually gave apc a run for their money, what happened in rivers would have happened in Lagos too and blood would have flowed cos pdp must win.

Pdp has been transformed from a party with a very large nationwide fellowship to a destructive party that eats up its inhabitants.

Thank God most Lagosians were wiser to know this despite agbaje's influential personality.

Rivers state people will understand better as the days go by

If only the se had just one apc senator, all these won't be happening, the se would have been left all alone to decide but again its our problem as Nigerians not the politicians as we always think
Politics › Re: No Pension For Ex Governors - Buhari ( Vanguard) by Goke7: 8:49am On Apr 15, 2015
This is a good move but the problem is when Buhari starts, our governors and other politicians will run back to us and begin to tell us lies that buhari is undemocratic, then before you know it tribal and religous sentiments will kick in that he is against the south or he is against christians, thereafter we foolish Nigerians after we've been given N1,000 or bags of rice or garri will hit the streets with protests that buhari must go.

Abeg wetin I just talk na lie or true? we Nigerians are the problem, if we can leave out all these tribal and religous stuff, I bet nobody in Nigeria will steal again but ARE WE READY?

Very funny.
The SW are voting smartly and SE are voting out of anger and hatred?
Yeye dey smell here.
They chose Ambode over Agbaje and you call that voting smartly?
They got angry because Igbos supported agbaje, their own son and you call that voting smartly?
They kept saying he was in the wrong party just like we said to Ngige.
I don't see the difference between the voting pattern of the SW and SE.
Please, tell me something real. At least I'm being real to myself.
my guy read my words carefully o, I said the voting pattern in the sw was more liberal, did i use the word smart? liberal means, more accommodating, meaning Jonathan got more votes in the sw than buhari got in the ss and se which is there for all to see, even in the governorship elections, the pdp candidates in the sw except oyo did well by pulling lots of votes which shows that the yorubas did not put all their eggs in one basket which people are blaming the se for doing, there are pdp senators elect in the sw but is there any apc senator elect in the se?

so who is smarter and real now, if Jonathan had won this election, he would have appreciated the sw very much because they tried for him very much and the sw would have been prominent in his govt, i heard from a reliable source that jona was ready to compensate the sw very much if he had won the election.

As for ambode and agbaje, the whole world knew how close it was, but if abia people don't want pdp so why should lagos want them too.

My brother all i want is a better Nigeria for me and you. Cheers

So fayose can talk like this, I said it, the guy is not as silly as people think, he will calm down now, parade don change o!

But in all sincerity, am one of those who feel he should be left alone despite all his atrocities, the guy wants peace now that sai baba is in charge.

I tell people that fayemi should be blame for all these, if aregbesola, ajimobi and amosun even mimiko could be re-elected, fayemi had no excuse, he gave fayose the chance, let's be truthful for once
Politics › Re: Ambode Visits Oba Of Lagos, Akiolu (Photos) by Goke7: 2:53pm On Apr 14, 2015
EUROBOMBER:
Everything that happened in the Oba's palace was rehearsed and well planned by the APC, Oba and the Igbo Ezes in Lagos. The only way Ambode could beat Agbaje was to pitch the Yoruba against the Igbo and that is exactly what happened. Who recorded the whole thing and why was it leaked to the public? If this whole Oba episode had not happened, a lot of Yorubas would have voted for Agbaje and it was common knowledge that the Igbos would vote in block for Agbaje being their party man. The APC saw this and decided to play the ethnic card which worked perfectly. They know our people well and that we will shout and bring down heaven when we see the video just like we reacted during the deportation saga. Alot of Yorubas who initially wanted to vote for Agbaje ended up changing their mind to vote for Ambode because they saw it as Yoruba vs Igbo and they wanted to prove to the Igbo their dominance in Lagos. The whole drowning in Lagoon speech was a carefully written and acted script. The governorship election in Lagos turned out to be about proving who owns Lagos and this alone pitched almost all the Yorubas against Agbaje whom they saw as another Afonja.

All this was part of Tinubu's game, wake up! Don't be surprised to go to the Oba's palace and find him drinking with those Igbo Ezes. embarassed embarassed embarassed

They successfully labelled Agbaje as Okeshuku. cheesy
My brother forget story, nobody wants pdp in lagos for now, it was even the oba's speech, that gave agbaje more sympathy votes, if some areas in the se are rejecting pdp like abia, why will anyone want them in lagos? agbaje in apga sef for enter alausa but pdp? mba even in ikorodu where agbaje comes from, they rejected him.

Possible line the buhari administration will take that will or might not go well with the south
1-outright removal of fuel subsidy
2-fight against 13% derivatives
3-outright removal of armnesty programme (meaning turning the SS/SE Violent)
4-the pattern of appointment and who and region he appoints
5-the grand plan of conferb to favour certain region or set
trust me, apc is smarter than all these, they will even add more incentives for the ss or you think they just want to be there for four years alone and watch pdp grow again? my brother cool down, all the governors there go change story soon
Politics › Re: Apc Gradually Turning To A Northern Party by Goke7: 2:24pm On Apr 14, 2015
The Apc Govt with the great intellectual base that they have will play more mature politics than even the great pdp of the past where they easily penetrated the sw in the days of obasanjo. The ss and se will have no option than to embrace them finally after all the anger of the loss of the re-election of Jonathan would have gone down, I feel their pain now but never mind they will soon calm down

Na Naija we de nothing go happen, we like enjoyment gan whether sw or se or ss.

You don't even understand.
If the last election was cancelled and it's scheduled to hold again, SE will still vote against APC, just like APC voted against PDP in Lagos.
It's a regional thing.
the voting pattern in the se and sw are very different, the se votes are just out of anger and hatred which will cool down very soon when reality dawns, the votes in the sw were more liberal and even the whole world knows that hence the appeal to the Buhari and his team to address the issues in the se and ss by integrating them properly into their Government.

The apc guys are very smart, by the time they start executing federal projects in the se, people will change their minds and realized that they were only being deceived by some very selfish politicians who only wanted to perpetuate themselves in office or do you thing the apc led fed govt will toe the line of pdp? think again

what the average nigerian need is good governance, our politicians are the ones dividing us along regional lines

Amaechi to me is one of the heroes in this election, he took a very big risk that most politicians in Nigeria in their life time can never take. Amaechi will be fine, just some little tutorials from Asiwaju and you will see a man, the whole of Niger delta will be proud of in years to come.

If Amaechi had remain in pdp, I will be hopeful of a man who can play opposition politics that can keep apc o its toes not some liverless politicians who will have to depend on abuja before they can make even a small noise which is why they will decamp to apc soon.

If Alamiesigha joins APC and wins the governor elections, he's likely to defect back to PDP within a year or two.
As for SE governors, once you try decamping to APC, your ass is fried.
you are forgetting something, pdp is no longer at the centre and if any ss or se governor decamp to apc, who will fry their ass?

our present politicians are just too lazy to play opposition politics if not alamiesigha should not even be thinking of decamping to apc in the first place, I thought he was blowing hot like other Niger delta politicians that Nigerians had no choice but to vote Jonathan.

most of our politicians no get liver if not we won't be seeing the mass defection to apc.

They ain't kidding(SE governors).
Apc is not for SE.
Any governor in this zone that defects to APC, automatically loses his seat in the next election.
Rochas is struggling to win when he should have beaten PDP hands down, if he had stayed in APGA.
it looks like that now but after may 29, the dynamics will change again abi no be nigeria we dey, would you have imagine alamiesigha thinking of joining apc? that's politicians for you o
Politics › Re: How First Lady ‘influenced Rivers Governorship Poll For Wike’ by Goke7: 12:51pm On Apr 14, 2015
we are just making noise here, Naija politicians only use our heads, when things cool down, wike and amaechi will reconcile with wike joining apc later or do we things these guys will keep on fighting forever, oga jona is out and the dynamics will change again.

If Alamaesigha is already toasting the apc guys that he can cool down the militants for them if he can be the next governor of bayelsa on apc platform, then it means as Nigerians we should stop killing and abusing ourselves for these politicians.

ondo can't wait to join the progressives, they are not hardliners like ekiti, pdp is almost dead there, forget whatever mimiko is doing right now, they are just waiting for the next Governorship elections to align themselves with the centre.

or haven't u heard that even alamesigha or whatever his name is and timi alaibe wants to be next governor of bayelsa on apc platform

Most Nigerian politicians are not that smart to play opposition but seriously I want ekiti to remain in pdp, I want to see if fayose can open his mouth to say that buhari wears pampers after may 29, i dey wait o

Honestly i want fayose and ekiti to remain in pdp, I want to see whether he will still be able to make all the noise he has been making before the elections after may 29, it will be interesting to see how he can play opposition politics too, after all only tinubu was not in the pdp when he rest of sw were with obasanjo in pdp.

But something tells me the guy does not have the heart, all na gra gra, I see a very quiet fayose who will want to spend his four year tenure in peace especially with apc in the centre, the guy is not as stupid as people think he is after all.

you cannot separate a candidate from his party, Nigerians must begin to understand this

APC has succeeded in dividing Nigeria into two- South/East vs North/west . And they have also divide the peaceful co-existence of lagos into Yorubas v Igbos . This isn't good for Nigeria progress... This will only trigger most tribal crisis in future. The unity of Nigeria is finally coming to an END. Thanks to APC
Pls blame the present pdp Federal Government for this, they divided Nigeria according to the voting pattern we are seeing now which was very different from the 2011 elections if you compare statistics.

The incoming Federal Government just have to execute federal projects in all regions irrespective of who voted for them or not and we would be fine. its not a big obstacle that we cannot overcome, that is why pdp should leave us alone now at least for four years.
