Ok time for the real deal. I have been unlucky with relationships. My 1st serious relationship was with someone older than me with almost 6 yrs. It was one of my best we dated for almost 2 yrs but alone the line she backed off cuz i was a lil premature at 23. Felt bad but i understood.
My 2nd was with a nice dark perfect girl. We dated for 4yrs she tried alot was so responsible till her 2nd year in the university. She became a high class public toilet. Was trying to cope but she's tasted wealth and even denied me in the presence of another guy. Had to call it a quit. At 27

The 3rd was an orphan. Practically sponsored her to school but she wanted more and i was still yet to get a job. So along the line she got discouraged and told me i wasn't moving as she expected and left. Dated for a year plus.
So since then i felt cold that my only flaw was not been financially stable. And I'm sick of breakups.
Currently im in construction under an a power station proton energy limted. Although the salary is shared with my uncle that fetched me the job. Passed an interview with another power company and been expecting to resume since September.
I live in delta but im currently celebrating with my parents in lagos. And im really looking for a serious relationship that would evolve to marriage.

Good morning guys.
I've been in a many relationships before now, and I wouldn't say I have had the best of experiences, but I have come to believe that there isn't anything like unconditional love, well, that changed, yesterday.

I will try to keep this short. I'm a graduate and since over 3years after graduating from one of the best Universities in Nigeria, and with a second class upper (largely overrated), I haven't been able to get a job. Being the kind of person I am, who believes that being in a relationship is all about responsibility, and also with the fact that I'm someone who loves giving a lot, I decided I wouldn't get into any relationship until I get a job and be able to meet some financial obligations as real man.

Well, have been that way until I met this very young girl. We started out as friends. She sings and I play the piano, so, it was a musical thing. One thing led to another and we became closer. She is very young but, emotionally and psychologically mature. Enjoyed talking to her a lot and with time, I forgot all about my vow not to be in a relationship, and I fell for her completely. I later got to know from her that she has always crushed on me for a long time, because she saw a big difference in me, that I was like no guy she has ever known (I took that statement as one of those things, but it really wasn't).

We have been cool, talking about future, marriage and all. I don't have a job, and broke, but this girl believes in me so much that it scares me. She is so proud of me and has never made me feel less a man that I am. Now, this girl isn't just any kind of girl: she is extremely beautiful, tall and exceptionally intelligent, and most times I feel like I don't even deserve her, rather, for reasons best known to her, she believes she isn't even good enough for me.

Two days ago, I decided to do a general lab test and know my health status, she encouraged me to. When I went yesterday to collect the test results, an idea came to my mind. When I came back home, I texted her and told her that the relationship can't work, that the lab results showed I was HIV positive. She called me immediately, was calm and asked me what I wanted to do. I said I wanted her to stay away from me and focus on her life and career, that we don't have a future together. She wouldn't hear that, she kept calming me and asking me not ever say we can't be together, that she could never live without me. I told her I didn't want to tell my parents about it, and wanted leaving town, but she said I should give her just two days to get her stuff and go with me, that she couldn't let me be myself. She was almost crying and I couldn't bear it anymore. Had to open up to her that nothing was wrong with me and that it was just a game.

The relief in her voice was even more touching than the concern she showed. I'm just so happy to have her in my life. I feel blessed every day.
