ichuka:You're a blessed bro! |
ichuka:How you doing my brother? Sure everything okay. I'm fine and being here just reading most times behind the scene. Do know many of our Christian brothers and sisters have invested so much into lies and traditions of men by or through their church leaders to the point when truth (of the new covenant ) hit hem they become uncomfortable because they don't like to be wrong. |
johnydon22:No! For the law of the Spirit, of Life in Christ Jesus has set us free from the law of sin and death! Any Christian can go back and forth trying to blend or make up or complete the new mixing with some part of the old. Such is not a student of the word! |
Everything about the law and the old testament is fulfilled in Christ. Christians are done away with the law of the old testament INCLUDING THE 10 COMMANDMENTS. The Spirit in you is now what guides and lead you through the complete word of God. |
Insightful |
Many Christians still wanna argue the truth of the new covenant. To such, we say, Christ died in vain and we pray their eyes be opened to the finished works of Christ. Its too much to argue and trying to convince those who their mind already made up. Until Christ be formed in you and you see Christ in the old covenant as types and shadows of better things to come, one will continue to be tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine. Thank you, OP and may the Lord help His Church! |
MZLady39:No, the command was given to Adam but all things was in Adam and him in charge of all things. |
MZLady39:No, they would have died instantly....the same day they disobeyed. He said, IN THE DAY THAT YOU EAT, YOU (ADAM) SHALL SURE DIED. |
IhatesIGBOS:How does that matter? |
Great, unique, perfect and systematic style of message. You, are blessed...@OP. |
Aaronsrod:No, he's asking the question because he "probably" got answers from a so called website that has the final answer. Watch where the answer comes from.... ![]() |
Pidgin2:Welcome to the truth that sets free, it's in Christ! |
frosbel2:I dey o, my brother, working hard so I can provide for my family and bless those I'm sent to. |
Grace is deep and unsearchable in its whole sphere. Having been a student of the message of the Grace of God, I have come to conclusion more than Grace being unmeritted favor, that it is EVERYTHING GOD HAD DONE TO AND FOR BELIEVERS, THROUGH THE DEATH, BURIAL AND RESURRECTION OF THE LIVING CHRIST. It's, G-od's R-iches A-t C-hrist E-xpenses |
Pidgin2:Why not? I have seen tithers come beg non tither money. So then, where's the promise of God to tithers? Will God say but don't perform? |
An2elect2:At the bold, .....more like saying a babalawo cooked something together and gave to someone, he or she said it worked. Does that make it truth? Or Cele people going to the river to bath and walk around bare footed, someone can claim it's a revelation from about....lol, does that make it truth! |

There's nothing like "falling under the anointing" in the new covenant nor to Christianity. How is the anointing you received that's supposed to keep and uphold you be the same anointing knocking you down? God is not the author of confusion but men! |
Make una tell this lady that, it is God that works in us, to will and to do. It's okay to know what you want but it's better to let go and let God. These specifications are clearly HER OWN WORKS vs God's GRACE in action! |
Great! |
^ ^ ^ Good you have time with these guys that wants to keep Christians away from the finished works of Christ. Good job! |
petra1:Correct! But you know many had been wrongly thought and when we start to challenge those wrong teaching, they say we're hyper Grace teachers etc. Moreso, how people quickly read into scriptures to give their own meaning or interpretation |
Great! Maybe we can use this thread to educate some of the brethren here. Unfortunately, some might not like to listen to our message perhaps because not coming from a daddy G.O or a highly known MoG. However, we will speak the mind of God regardless of human traditions. @ OP, How about to be dead TO sin? #2 - Do you know that many Christians (including many pastors who think they know) when they read the scriptures and come across the word "sin", they automatically read "an act or an action" - i.e, a verb. But, scripture does not teach such! There is sin - a verb and a noun. Both are express in scriptures. Can we attend to these (2) issues above and see where it goes? Thanks |
blueAgent:1 John 3:23. The problem with you guys is, whenever or wherever you see the "commandments", y'all quickly think or conclusion it's the 10. He never said, keep THE 10 commandments but rather, keep MY commandments. Jesus commandments ARE NOT SAME as the 10 commandments. |
Ubenedictus:We can explore that on another thread or some other times if you so wish but certain not OSAS thing. |
blueAgent:And those commandments are the 10? |
Ubenedictus:Lol....not really but the word is true. He that is born of God CANNOT sin. It's either we know what he's saying or we dont. |
christemmbassey:You're blessed sir. I now understand that your favorite verse sooo well now.....he that is born of God cannot sin. Definitely, the Apostle by the Spirit knows what he's saying to the church. We'll break bread together soon, God willing. |
petra1:Tell that to the Sabbatharians. |
analice107:Because Sabbath is part of the 10 commandments. |
Thank you, truthislight, I see you have time to expound the exact thing I wanted to do. Obviously, when people read the word sin in scriptures, they won't check what it's talking about. It means 2 different things in scriptures but context with tell which one applies and or how it's used interchangeably. But I'm following up with the discussion. |
Ubenedictus:Thanks my big brother! You're blessed |
