Bauchi Governor, Yuguda, reverses self on Northern Governors’ Forum

Governor Isa Yuguda
Mr. Yuguda had vowed never to attend the northern governors meeting.
The Bauchi State Governor, Isa Yuguda, has rescinded his decision to withdraw from the Northern States Governors Forum, NSGF.
Mr. Yuguda’s Chief of Staff, Yusuf Gumbi, said this to journalists on Tuesday at a press conference in Bauchi.
Mr. Yuguda had, following the controversy that greeted the Nigeria Governors Forum election in May, vowed never to attend a meeting of the NSGF; whose leadership he claimed betrayed Governor Jonah Jang of Plateau.

why the argument.We are not interested and the last i know the Igbos are the least hospitable in peace time.The average hausa man or northern man is treated as worthless by the Igbos in there community.I stayed there and the feeling i got in my first year is that of the attitude of the Igbo and there ethnocentric/hateful attitude towards others. A friend once asked an Igbo man while i was with him how come in Ogbete market you don't have shops owned by Yorubas and Hausas? He couldn't say anything.It is rather the other way around.Igbos will not allow the presence of non-Igbos in there midst without discrimination and are not welcoming.How is it for the non-Igbo to acquire property in SE? Even amongst Igbos is land wahalah not to talk of a foreign tribe.
Not withstanding, along Ogui road Enugu, there is a building owned by a Hausa man who was there before the civil war.I have being there looking for place to rent.forget it!!!! Last i checked speaking the Hausa language in the SE only draws some harsh eyes and nasty mocking comments. Inshort if any thing i notice there,was how come the Igbo resides anywhere and blast his hi-life with little concern from there host or can speak there language and no one gives a hoot.Try that in the SE and tell me they Igbos will ignore you and move along like any human. Next you go hear na awusa,onya Hausa,Aboki and alot of comments suggesting there attitude of arrogance.
Finally i say whatever,lets split or what ever.We don't need the investment there at this time.Inshort it will not be wise to do so.Not when all i hear is hate.The north even needs investments here.

we sat down and agreed to vote for Jonah Jang but some governors did not fulfil their promise and instead voted for Rotimi Amaechi. this made Amaechi win but Amaechi would have accepted defeat in victory because we held a meeting whereby we decided that Jang will win and so therefore Amaechi is a desperate man for rightly winning while Jang is not desperate inspite losing and parading himself as winner.
