Hello everyone. I need your advise on this, I recently changed the battery of my 2007 Toyota Camry. I noticed whenever the car in on motion the ac temperature stops cooling, and car starts vibrating. But as I drive further it stops and starts again. It’s been like that for some days. I’ve asked my engineer. He said it’s a normal thing with that model whenever u change the battery, I’m concerned cause it’s still acting like that. What can I do please? Anyone...??

I have a similar problem with my 2005 Toyota Camry XLE with an automatic transmission. In the morning when the car is cold it doesn't engage 'Drive' unless I first press the pedal down and rev the engine then it suddenly engages with a Jerk! Reversing works fine. Also sometimes when the car has gone a long distance or been stuck in our Lagos traffic for long, While moving, with the car on 'Drive', and I am pressing on the accelerator and trying to shift over 80kmph, it feels as though the car is automatically reverting into neutral. I say this because I can clearly hear the engine revving up, but the car is not moving any faster. If I completely step off of the accelerator, and "pump" the pedal repeatedly, eventually, it will begin to accelerate again. this issue seems to happen sporadically, or intermittently.

I have replaced the ATS, changed the filter underneath. But the problem still persists.

Please guys what could be the problem?

Initially the mechanic thought it was the fuel pump so I changed the pump still no solution!
I have even bought a new nee throttle mouth the problem keeps occuring

Yes that is not your case... you need a valve cover gasket. They don’t need to bring out the whole engine. They will remove the top cover and replace the gasket... it’s sold for #2000 for new I think and 1k for tokunbo

My 2002 Camry car (big daddy) is doing start and off.... except you throttled it ( as if the engine is low). I took the car to mechanic and he has worked and adjusted the accelerator pedal sensor or throttle sensor but the problem still continues.......what should I do pls? somebody with experience should help me on what to.

My 2001 Toyota Camry goes off when on idle. It use to happen like that anytime I remove the battery and put it back but after like 30mins to 1hr, it will normalize. Last saturday I had to remove the battery head for my panel to work on the the silencer that was leaking. After that the car has been going off while on idle and refuse to normalize.

Any remedy or advice?
