The catholic church recognizes pagan dates and observes and celebrates them.

That today is Sunday , means nothing to me other than being a tag to identify where we are in modern time. We do not know the meanings of these tags and could care less. We do not observe or celebrate them.

Whereas the catholic church fraudulently pegs the birth of Christ on a PAGAN date and tries to pass this off as TRUTH. But then what is new with this pagan institution celebrating pagan dates.

If I use the jewish calender or the babylonian calendar today how would I make reports at offices and @ school??....e be like your mumu no get boundary.........calendars have evolved over time................servants in the past used and were also under the calendars of what ever world power that arose most especially when they were in exile..........but what those faithful servants of God never did was adopt pagan practices just as you do.......

tammuz is the postexilic name given to the 4th jewish lunar month of the sacred calender,but the tenth of the secular calendar......Tammuz as we know is the name of a pagan deity.(Ezekiel 8:14)..the bible record does not apply this name to the 4th month but merely refers to the month by its numerical order.(Ezekiel 1:1)..the name does appear,however in the Jewish mishnah(Ta'anit 4:6) and other postexilic works..the use of the pagan name tammuz as applying to the fourth month,as well as the use of the other postexilic names,may have been only a matter of convenience among Jews.....remembering that they were then a subjugated people,obliged to deal with and report to the foreign powers dominating them, the isrealites in view of this could never have found it strange to utilize the names of the months employed by these foreign powers.......daniel and all faithful isrealites that were captives in babylon used definitly used the names of the months that were in the calenders of the heathen nations they were subject to..........I earlier gave the example too of the isrealites when they were slaves in egypt(the then world power)....

The same goes for me using the gregorian calender and using the names of the months(january,august which was coined from augustus ceaser,july coined from julius),just for nomenclature and documentation sake.......with this I'm even complying to the principle at romans 13:1 to be obedient to superior existing authorities.........I live in a heathen world and using there calendar system and names of the months for datings sake does not in any way make me pagan....or that i should find a new calendar because the names of the months are that of pagan gods........I would rather be a pagan if I indulge in the festivities or adopt the festivities offered to these gods(in whose names the months are called) and merging them with my service to God......
