TrebleChamp: Hello nairalanders, pls can we get (users) review on d features of windows phone 8 OS?Hello, Windows Phone 8 (wp8) does not allow Multitasking like you have in Android, but it does allow some level of multi tasking. Yes you can transfer data through bluetooth, but due to security reason, not all file formats are allowed. The game you can play depends on availability and your own hardware. In theory, you can play all games on all WP8 devices. However, in some very rare cases, games do require a minimum of 1gb of RAM. That would mean devices like Nokia Lumia 52x, 62x, 72x; HTC 8S, Huawei W1 are left out of the action. Generally, games do play very smoothly on all WP devices, even better than on equivalent Android devices. Some apps do work in the background, but you can control which app is allowed to work in the background, except the essential ones that the OS requires. It is advisable to limit the amount of background apps, so as to avoid quicker battery drain. If you are a Skype user, you would like how it works on wp8. Microsoft Office is never a feature of Windows. It is an independent programme by itself. However, mobile office is bundled with wp8 @ no extra cost. You have WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT and ONE NOTE bundled with wp8 and Windows RT only. For all other Windows, you have to purchase Office separately. |
mamaput: Are most of the things she said not true? forget the fact that she thinks her people are better than your people. How many Gypsies have you met? That statement is very disturbing, nay, racially discriminatory. |
Dibiachukwu: This is why I say free education might turn out to be more expensive than regular education. The majority of the people misinterpreting the article can not be said to have enjoyed FREE EDUCATION. English is a foreign language, and this incident here gives wings to my argument that we should promote our languages. Education and research in the mother tongue is the key to sound knowledge. |
Afam4eva: NTA is still living in the past. Their pictures of 2013 looks like something that was filmed before NIgeria gained independence. That's what you get when you employ federal character in an industry that is supposed to be managed by technocrats. If we want to move forward as a Nation, we must do away with this disease called "Federal character".There is nothing wrong with federal character if the people were properly trained. The system is not bad in itself, it's just the abuse of it that has flawed it. |
sucessful1: Am sorry but it is u dat don't kno wat u re saying, how can 8 pple commit one murder,it's impossible in court of law.ee,I wonder if they even had lawyers to defend them,if they did, then s/he is quack.Your argument is very valid. The victim was said to have been strangled. There must be more than one person involved, but the whole could not have committed the murder. One or more persons were definitely involved, while some just might have aided the actual murderers. |
~Bluetooth:Don't mind him. It sometimes baffles me how he put his senses to work. |
citizenisb: This is proof of the massive decay and rot in the Nigerian system and proves that this country is a FAILED STATE!!!O sese mo eleyii ni? Ji mi fo n'ede Ilaje, Naijiriya ti gbe, o ti mi run pepepe. |
Mozehh: A lot of people seem to be missing the point here. The basic problem is that of mixing beliefs (on which none has conclusive proofs) with the laws guiding the administration of a state. There are no such things as ISLAMIC and CHRISTIAN countries. Only countries where the majority of people are either muslim or christian. If your country is majorly inhabited by muslims (or christians) and you choose to run it by sharia law (or whatever the christian version of that is, if any), that's fine as long as it suits the majority. *Occurences such as this one are what really drives me crazy. It shows how ignorant some people can be*. However, your law should also include banning things like the internet (on which you know youths can watch or listen to corruptive music or where people from other regions can blaspheme or corrupt your beliefs and incite violence). The freedom and open-mindedness of a group of people was what allowed them to advance as a species (referring to technologically advanced countries). It is odd, sad even, that these bigoted countries want such technological advancements without the freedom. How much sadder it must even be for you if you live your life thinking that all you do is right and all another person does is wrong and that somehow you have been given the power to condemn them or correct them. You have a brain, you have a mind. THINK!!!Indonesia is light years ahead of Nigeria technologically. And it's actually a very open and multi religious society. However, they do have their fair share of religious fanatics. Nevertheless, they are still much better than Arabs or Pakis. And Indonesia does really invest in education. They send their young people abroad on scholarship, unlike Nigeria. In the early 1990s, I had the opportunity to have met a lot of people from that country, very nice and friendly, and I am not a Muslim, unlike my experience with a fellow Nigerian from Kano, who only associated with "Muslims". Indonesia is not what you think. |
Ki lo fe fa ikilo oshi yi ke? When I saw the video, I actually forgot about the religious issue. The thing I noticed was the quality of the classroom. Imagine a remote village/town having such a good infrastructure. In Nigeria, many a lot of city schools are not as good. Despite corruption, Indonesia is developing and advancing technologically. I wish I could go see the magic they are doing with palm oil and rubber. |

Do you mean that old guy married to the underage Egyptian child? Well, if you mean him, I said kudos, because he should have long been in jail for child abuse... |

JideTheBlogger: Lol...think sey na beans? Better don't waste your time and money. Photocopy koo easyAburo, you should encourage and not discourage him. Variety is the spice of life, and competition does bring forth good innovations. The rule 17 should be abrogated or properly fixed to include not just islam, but all religions |
mr-bounty:It was no more common in the 80s. It was only used as akoyoyo in the early 80s. Molue has already displaced it by the late 70s. I dont remember to have entered it during Shagari time. The last time I took it was during the first Obasanjo era. It was from Ojota to Idumota. The old Carter bridge was still there back then. |

Amelian: Also, sweet lovely,Eran awon agbalagbi leleyi. Omo, kini logo e? Oya, baby mi show kolor re, ka jo ma rocky... |
Billyonaire: Lagos is actually Over-hyped. We have few good roads compared to other states in Nigeria that I have visited and the traffic situation is unforgivable. Even Osun and Ekiti States have excellent roads on the hinterland. Apart from VI/Lekki/Ikoyi axis of Lagos, the rest of Lagos is just terrible. This is not politics, it is the truth. You certainly do not know Lagos, if you can boldly say the above. |
maxwello.yg:Very simple! Carrot and stick politics should do the magic there. I already know which it would be sha, but there is a string attached. If this particular university allows Joe to change it's name to M...G, it should get it. Cough... Mega Abiola... Coughs... of Lagos. Thats all! |
PHIPEX: I don't get it when some Nigerians make fast comparisms between Nigeria and America; how reasonable is it to compare a first world nation against a nation that is still ranked in the 3rd world category? A reasonable comparism should be Nigeria against the likes of Egypt, South Africa, Mexico and the likes. If you compare Nigeria to Britain and America you'll easily conclude that Nigeria is not safe but if we are reasonable enough to compare the country against her mates like India and the Arab countries then we may appreciate the country better. If you compare Nigeria to Egypt or South Africa, you will still found out that Nigeria is bleeped up. Those two countries have a relatively working judiciary compared to the institutional desert we have in Nigeria. If you care, go to Sa or Egypt, you wont find officials harassing you at the airport and non official person eager also to take you out. |
Ilaje Omuro: A la Animal Farm's, "Mr. Jones will come back."Aburo, kon ti gha ke? Se o mi yon? E le oma yemi. Aiye gba omuro o... |
distribute inc.:What did he achieve that is worthy of praise? The idioti along with Babangida are responsible for the total collapse of law and order in Nigeria. They have corrupted Nigeria beyond redemption.... Akutuku e lona orun apaadi. |
T-john:Actually there are answers. Like reckless driving, bad road, careless to nil maintenance of vehicles in Nigeria, lack of law enforcement, no formal drivers' training... There are actually more answers than questions. Amo sha, ki Olorun fi ori ji oku orun. Amin |
mekaboy: Na the north dey set us back.North don suffer o. As things look, even the infrastructure in the North is far better than in the region the North is accused of setting back. Nigeria is a total failure. Entering the Airport already portray the kind of land one would meet. A lawless and chaotic country that wait on God to do it. Woo, ebi to ma pa yin ti epo petroleum yin ba tan, a ju,ti Yindia lo. |
pDude: Lmao. I will use 2 million to invest in goats and chicken business. It is more valuable than buying an IMO girl for that priceBEREM, what sayeth thou? |
