Well, I should be asking why you are still here. In the poster's company, About 100 people moved. How many employees does his company hire that over a 100 people would leave? His he working for MTN?

Abeg sufri sufri na!
Well... you don't know if I am one leg in and one leg out at the moment.

How many staff do you have in banks for instance? Branches have between 10 to 20 staff. How many branches do you have in Lagos alone. Not to talk of the head office with different units. 100 is not much.

You mentioned Johnny Drille. Burna is more lyrical. Moreover Johhny Drille's genre of music is somewhat different. Thought you were gonna mention Falz coz he is very lyrical(probably the most lyrical). We both know that most Nigerian artistes aren't lyrical at all. You'll love Burna boy soon mainly because of his versatility.
Burna is more lyrical than Johnny Drille cheesy. Now you are beginning to sound like his publicist

Bro I tire oh, Working in Canada is good surely but not compared if you earn 1.5 in Nigeria. If I earn 1.5M, mehn I'm staying in Nigeria Biko!

1.5M is $4,167 US Dollars in a month, how many Americans/Canadians earn that please after Tax?
A lot that i know earn that and more. Not everyone is washing dead bodies there or driving cab. Besides, you are not paying school fees for your children from it. Their education is free till Uni.

But here, for you to send your child to a school with the same standard with schools abroad, you will be thinking like 500k to 1m. Imagine a school i went to in lekki...just registration is 200k. By the time you fund your life to match the standard of someone staying in US/Canada, you will see that your 1.5 is not enough.

It is easy for someone earning 70k to think that 1m will change his life and make him a king in Nigeria.

You are right. A friend of mine got a consulting job there... another one is an engineer there. I wonder why people keep saying it is cab driver we will go and do. When doing the whole immigration process, they do an academic verification. Some people just have reasons to remain in this failed country

Except a miracle happens, my sister this condition has been like this for 5 years and counting, for 5 years we have never bought food in bulk, except I buy with my money with the hope that he will return it... NA lie, the other time we had food in bulk was after the burial, but unfortunately or fortunately, it was consumed under 3 weeks during the holidays when inlaws came for holiday, except he changes his thought pattern and begin to set aside some money for feeding from his income, I don't think situations can change except like I said A MIRACLE HAPPENS, sister in law can only leave when the house is renovated and she gets a cp tenants or if there's fund to rent an house for herself.....
Let me get used to the new change.
Whatever you can do for her without overstretching yourself, do. Aside that, let her be responsible for herself and her child. Of she has to ask her brother, let her ask.

I m really wondering how you got yourself into this marriage as you don't seen to be enjoying the union.

Madam as I said in another post...at this point, do what you can afford to do especially as you are not even getting any kind of support from your husband.

Maybe when your husband sees that there's no food for his sister, he will step up, or the sister will leave when she sees that she has to be responsible for herself and her kid.

The root of her problem is the lack of money. She has said it over and over that what causes friction in her marriage is financial issues. The current fracas is a spill over from that. She is frustrated because her husband isn't pulling his weight for some reasons, and she has had it up to the brink. She doesn't know how to proceed. I think her main problem is with her husband and not her inlaws, especially when she has to cater for them from zero finance.
In a way, I understand her frustrations, as it would have been easier to do the right thing with her SIL facing challenges if the OP earned better, and her husband also could afford to care for his extended family
Yeah. I understand her frustrations especially as her husband is the light in his family. And the financial burden is resting on her plus her sister inlaw he moved in with a kid.

If she was getting emotional and financial support from her husband, it would have been more bearable. But the fact that she mentioned that she would do it for her own sister and kid makes me think that it's not about the money alone

Having inlaws is not always convenient. I have had three adult inlaws stay with me for like 3months and i tell you...it was not easy at all... especially with food. Each with their likes and dislikes. But i didn't want them to leave on a bad note or put my husband in an awkward situation. So i just tried to deal with it.

But i wonder why the op went ahead with the marriage with all these complaints about him and his family. She probably didn't see these signs. At this point, whatever she decides should be what works for her because she is the one bearing the brunt of the problem.

can you please tell us the financial situation of your oldest sister and her husband the times she took in six of her in-laws? Then compare it with laeroy's financial situation.
We both know that the Op's issue is not just financial but mostly the attitude towards her inlaws. She rightly said that she would do it for her own sister and kids but not for her inlaws. Is the money to do it for her family coming from a different place? She described her inlaws as poverty stricken.

My point is not for her to accommodate all her inlaws but to handle the situation wisely.

Thanks for being sincere with me...... I'm also being sincere with you... I'm wicked, I can't take care of my kid and hers.... I don't start what I can't finish.....

If it was my blood sister ill house her and her kids.... But she is not my sister nor her kids..

They also didn't think twice before they sent their fathers wife packing just one day after the burial..... I've realized in life that what is your own is yours and not the other way round..... She is nice to me no doubt but when the chips are down... Blood matters most....

Thanks for your sincere comment once again...
She is your husband's sister. You and your husband are one and you should see his family as yours. If they don't treat you well, just keep doing what you can.

I have learnt from my oldest sister. She accommodated her husband's 6 younger siblings at different times. She was never hostile. Whatever she did for us, she did for them. Right now, they will do anything for her. They can go out of their way to make her satisfied. They don't joke with her.

Your inlaw is even showing your child love and you are upset. What do you really want?

Do you agree that he has more lyrical songs than most A list artistes. E.g Soke, Halleluyah, Dangote and more... You'll realize how good he is very soon. It's a matter of time. Why do you think the A list South African artistes used to want him in their songs? Why do you think he influenced Drake's More Life mixtape? Do your research..
What lyrics? Nothing spectacular about Burna's lyrics. There are Nigerian artists with better lyrics. You just like him.

Calm down, marrying a virgin girl is still the best provided that every other things are intact.

In those years marrying a non virgin is not encouraged, in fact, in some cultures today they test for virginity on wedding night... Eg Egypt.
The irony is that the Op might not even marry a virgin cheesy

Its sad that d Nigerian community including op has a wrong conation about d male gender with all the psychology exposure around. I don't know how expressing affection for your child on a rare occasion makes you a non-man. When its not crying over pot of soup as women normally do often
It is the men that made it that way. They make it seem like crying is a woman thing...women are emotional and men are logical mumbo jumbo.

When barca played Chelsea then in the Champions league, barca played better Chelsea won,,,
We are talking about the Barca and Liverpool 1st leg match. Besides, a team supposedly playing better is inconsequential when they lose the game, especially when they concede three goals and score none.

Even if they played better, their mistakes or inability to make use of their chances already made them lesser team.

He's on another level. No one can even imitate him. He has his own unique style and he makes hits songs out of that. You have to respect that. Isn't that enough to worth the artist of the year?
A lot of artists have their unique styles... that's nothing out of the ordinary. Burna's music doesn't appeal to everyone the same way every artist cannot appeal to everybody.

Burna boy is just another Nigerian artist

And you'll give artist of the year to Davido right?
Which album can stand Outside? You people think popularity and airplay are the only signs of a good artist. People dey wey good wey never still blow. This is Burna's time to shine.

From Like to party, to Tonight, to Run My Race, to Yawa, to Check and Balance, to Pree me, to Gba, to Ye, Heaven's gate, to Konibaje and now Dangote.

Listen to these songs firsts. There are much more tho.
I love yawa...oya show dem kill dem show dem kill them. I am not saying Burna is not good. However his performance last year wasn't worth artist of the year.
