Stir up distrust, moment of weakness, very good coming from a guy, so is it safe to say women or a wife can kiss another man cos it is a moment of weakness, then she shouldn't tell her man or husband cos it can bring distrusthuh

Cheating is not only when sex is involved, it can be in any form, in this case he kissed her, willingly at a point, that is blatant cheating,
He didn't initiate the kiss. She took him unawares and though he allowed it for a while, he put a stop to it.

Most guys cannot even go back from that point. They must do o.

Number, you can't provide and you're mentioning popular celebs and using that as your proof that many (as in, many) divorced ladies are remarried. cheesy
Something that is not yet on the high side in developed societies, it's in Nigeria you are confidently typing MANY.

Do you know what an outlier is? grin
That you even know one or two personally is not an accurate representation of many.

Was it via snooping you found out that there are MANY divorced women who are remarried, or you know them because they are friends and family, or its only the celebrities you are actually using to make your claim?

Don't bother answering anymore, you've shown you are just kidding yourself.
All your rants doesn't change the fact that single ladies remarry. If you don't know that it is happening, then you should research and find out for yourself since you are very interested in the statistics instead of asking me for a number.

I will bother to answer if i feel like it

How is it that it's always you ladies that keep seeing divorced women getting remarried everyday? cheesy

Where is it happening?
In Nollywood, or in the streets with everyday women?

Give us an exact number of the women you know personally that have divorced and remarried, not celebrities but the average divorced Nigerian woman next door.
You are actually waiting for me to give you an exact figure. How will you verify it? So I just start counting and then, send you a report? cheesy. I am coming.

If you go through the thread, you will see where i mentioned popular celebs not to even mention others.

Oga rest. There are many remarried ladies. The fact that you refuse to acknowledge or see them is not really my problem. But it doesn't change the glaring evidence. Maybe you should start snooping. That neighbour of yours may be married to her 2nd husband. undecided

Clarion chukwurah the actress, remarried about 6 times, to men of great fortune, not small Bleep boys like some people are saying here. Learn to change your mentality. There is nothing bad about a single guy marrying a divorced lady, if he finds peace with her, and especially if she was not the cause for her marriage falling apart. I have seen divorced women who remarried. I guess because the OP is married, then she feels every woman with failed marriage is to be blamed. Also, when couple's fall apart in their marriage, they can tell lies, trade blames, etc. How is the OP sure that the lady cheated? If she cheated, what could have caused it? Was her husband an angel? In my own observations I feel that many nija women even tolerate all kinds of bullshit, so that they can stay married, especially, for the love of their kids. I don't believe women are to blame in this.
Besides women are more prone to speaking up and expressing their feelings and that may come off as being bitter. While guys avoid confrontation and prefer to be silent or run from facing the situation. This may be seen as being mature or being the innocent party.

Being able to communicate feelings and issues properly is a major problem for many

Just a another "generalization" thread devoid of real facts. Plus the Op doesn't take criticism well...only discussing with commenters that agree with her point of view. For others, it's a default timid and predictable response.

Painful waste of life,

The society, especially women needs to start understanding that Men are actually more Emotionaly and Pschologically fragile, just because of strong muscle it doesnt mean strong heart or mind..

Lol. Networking is key and you cannot meet those people at the 5000 area even if it is to laugh that all of them came for.

I know someone that goes all the way from mainland to lekki on friday evenings to play ball. It may be far but the reward due to the calibre of people that come to play there is enough for him.

I would like opinions and experiences on this.
Did you save for your first car? Was it feasible. Did you spend the money before you could buy the car? If you succeeded, what did you gain?

Did you take a loan? Was it easy paying back? What did you gain?
Thanks.
Don't take a loan for a car. A car is not something that will generate income to repay the loan. It becomes a liability. Keep saving, keep your ears to the ground and network with people. You could get a good deal from a company trying to sell off their cars to buy new ones or someone trying to sell a good car and relocate. Or you can keep saving to get your choice. But don't get a loan.

Lol I get what you're saying & i have already said that here.

That is how they can build houses in Nigeria because of Currency exchange rates.
Even in the 80s and 90s with the former exchange rates, people who lived and worked abroad could almost easily build their houses back home.

We are talking too much. Move a neutral person that has never lived in both countries. Let the person stay 1yr in Nigeria, search for a job, commune to and fro work without a car. Then let the same person stay the following 1yr in the US, search for a job, commune to and fro work without a car.

Where do you think the person would pick after the exercise?

Okay sha, I'm am 100% sure so many people will disagree with you on this. Canada isn't built to make you Rich Lmao. Someone who acquired houses there isn't average by any means. He was probably earning around C$100k to purchase houses via mortgage, then start leasing them.

Canada, US is built to make you average.
Yet people that live in those countries build houses back in Nigeria. People that ordinarily could not have ventured it in the next 10 years if they were in Nigeria.

What I am saying is that you cannot compare the quality of life in those countries to life here. They are miles apart. Many people would rather hide out and stay there than come back to this jungle

Hmm okay, your points are very good. The only trade off is you'd never become Rich in Canada, but you'll only have a better life. The only time your money would have value is when you convert it to Naira.
You can be rich anywhere. I know of someone that already acquired houses there and is renting them out. Infact when the person explained the trick to it(completely legal), i was impressed at people's business sense.

Besides, some people will never be comfortable in Nigeria not to talk of being rich. They will always struggle with electricity, schooling for their children, etc. When a system is working, life is easy.

Hahaha are you sure ma? In Germany, cost of living at minimum goes around 750 - 850 Euros, calculate that to Naira & see for yourself.

Labour in Nigeria is the cheapest in the World, If you earn 1M in Nigeria per month, you are a King. You can save 850K every month.

In Nigeria, once my Rent is paid, I never spend upto 100k Naira in Expenses in a month. You can even setup Solar one time for 600k, light never goes off in your home forever.

In Nigeria, your HMO works pretty well once you work in a company that pays Health Insurance, nothing special about Health Insurance, People should stop making noise about Health please. You can use Private Hospitals with HMO.
The cost of living is proportional to their minimum wage/earning. And when they pay tax, they benefit from healthcare, free education to a level in standard schools.

Can you compare the minimum wage in Germany to that of Nigeria when you convert it? A civil servant there lives much better than those collecting proposed 30k here.

There is a big deal about health care o. Not all companies in Nigeria give HMO. I worked in one. A good friend who stays in Toronto was in the hospital for about 4months because of a difficult pregnancy and she didn't pay a dime because she is a PR. Except you are working in a multinational in Nigeria, that cannot happen.

You have said it all. How many people earn 1m in Nigeria? What is the percentage to the population of the country? Can a civil servant afford to install the inverter of 600k? You can see that you are funding your electricity even if you are paying PHCB bills.

If you are objective, you won't compare Nigeria to countries where the system is working... where you pay bills and tax and you reap the benefits.

Give me examples Nigerian female divorcees that have remarried esp the celebrities or any known name let's start from there.

Will u even allow your brother to marry a second hand? lol
Our everyday people are much more than the celebrities...regular people that have remarried.

However, some celebrities who have remarried are Uche Obi Osotule, Stella Damasus, Monalisa Chinda, Funke Akindele, Stephanie Okereke, Foluke Daramola, Lola Alao, Regina Askia. We have those like Clarion Chukwura, Shan George, Ann Njemanze who remarried but it didn't last.

These are even the popular ones not to mention the low key ones.

Nothing, Nigeria is a great place to live once you have an American Passport. You can go in & out anytime you want, you can pay cheaper rates for Tuition in US because you are a citizen & you can also bring your Children back occasionally to spend some time back home, they will have best of both worlds. Nigeria is cheap to live in, their Dollars will have much value anytime they visit home & their peers will worship them.
You mean America is a great place to live when you have an American passport. Nigeria is not a cheap place to live in because you pay for everything even after paying tax. You pay for electricity and still buy fuel for gen. You pay for good healthcare if you want the best or you use the govt hospitals that would frustrate you. You pay for security, you pay heavily to send your children to good schools because the government schools are below standard.

There is no solid reason to pick Nigeria over US. No reason at all. And it has been getting worse instead of improving because we have terrible leaders.
