GeneralOjukwu: Simply check the Passengers' Manifest instead of violating her family's privacy.
This gruesome morbid curiosity taking graphic pictures and deriving some perverse pleasure from being 1st to share must stop.
Even if she didn't write her name on the Manifest, within a week, her family would show up
RIP. ...She knows for sure now if an Afterlife exists. May God grant her family fortitude.
Her watch has ended....The night is dark and full of terrors. It is a very irritating action. Instead of trying to get her to a hospital in case she is still alive and has a chance of survival, people prefer to take pictures. I hate d trend. |

Ugosample: Remember guys, it's yiur wedding and not your parent's wedding.....
So all these people talking "if not for their parents" I don't understand you people o
If you want 100 guests, stick to that 100 guests, and if anyone comes who is not on the invited list, let the bouncers do their work.
This is not the time to be spineless. Some parents are difficult. They act like it's their wedding...like it's all about them when it is actually not. Some parents will blackmail you sef. If your parents are funding d wedding, u really don't hv a choice |
Career › Re: Female Boss or Male Boss? by ImaIma1(f): 1:49pm On Jul 15, 2017 |
alarinjo: I think most women prefer female bosses because there is always some kind of competitiveness between women, why can't women just get along with women (is it because they are all generally, fill in the blanks! ) Even in day to day life, most women I know prefer to have male friends than their fellow females, hmmm, curious,
As for men, we all know why they prefer female bosses, lets just leave it at that.
I'm am male and I couldn't really give a hoot what the gender of my boss is. I have worked for both and can't say their is really all that much of a difference based on gender. There are cool headed females out there, just as there are male bitches! Nooo female bosses tend to be difficult especially with female subs. I work better with male bosses. I have had issues with most female bosses i worked with. One almost got me fired. But after investigation came up with nothing against me, most people concluded it was plain beef. I prefer male bosses. However i don't give any indication of green light cos it is hard to know what i am thinking. I can't handle harassment. I bluntly but respectfully tell u to maintain ur lane. Don't come and complicate my simple life |

My white was a sunday in d evening just for 100. Took it far away to avoid mogbo mo ya. Many people were not aware of d white. I am still apologizing to people till today after 2yrs. But we did exactly what we wanted and didn't overshoot our budget. No matter how big your wedding is, there will be bigger weddings. Just do what you want and damn the consequences and reactions. At the end if the day, big or small, you are married. |

Toks2008: Honestly I just think this white wedding and trad wedding are flimsy and totally unnecessary.
Have a small family get together or bride price presentation to satisfy customs and tradition....proceed to registry and have a moderate reception. Best wedding i attended was a court wedding followed by a parlour party. It was mostly family and close friends. It was so lovely and fun. Everyone knew almost everyone. The best part was food was in abundance and you could go to the kitchen to request your food without shame . |
Romance › Re: Ladies, What Type Of Wedding Ceremony Would You Prefer? by ImaIma1(f): 10:22am On Jul 15, 2017 |
Ishilove: Very quiet and low key with a maximum of 50 people in attendance. 25 from my side, 25 from his.
What informs my choice is not economy but privacy. It is not how lavish a wedding ceremony is that will determine the success of a marriage.
For example, the 1980 wedding of Prince Charles and Princess Diana was the most beautiful and lavish wedding ceremony up to that point in history. It was broadcast to billions worldwide and leaders across the world attended.
Today where are they? Prince Charles is married to someone else while Lady Di is in the grave. And they were separated for years before her death.
Noise. It is not by feferity and noise.
Marriage is serious business and people nowadays get so carried away by the fanfare of wedding ceremonies that they forget this immutable fact. Very true. Too much noise and paparazzi spent on the ceremony when the marriage might end up in fiasco. I never liked big weddings. I hardly attend weddings in general except it's family or very very close friend. A small wedding is possible in Nigeria especially if none of the parties is yoruba. All u need is wisdom and proper planning. |

Family › Re: How Do I Deal With My Child's Anger by ImaIma1(f): 5:54pm On Jul 13, 2017 |
emerged01: If you read my post carefully you will understand me. There is a stage when a kid thinks he can do all by himself/herself. As they grow they watch you as a father doing things on your own without assistance of anybody. When you come back from work,in your kid's presence u will pull off your shoes, your cloth without assistance. So when he comes from school,he will say "don't pull it for me". He also feel he can do it on his own(no crime committed). You will realize when he can do it,he wil come back to you and say help me. That's kid for you, they need to be understood. Yea,I agreed with you,you must set rules for them but they have their own rules you will have to follow to make them comfortable when they are around you. When he sees you as a father and unharmed friend,he will build a trust in you. With him trusting, you can always get him to do what you want him to do without force. But he can't be allowed to do things like an adult when he is still a toddler. The fact that daddy can go out on his own doesn't mean he can. Children at this age do not set any rules. They need guidance from parents. I learnt a lot from taking care of my nephews when they were toddlers. They want to watch tv while eating or bring their potty to the living room to poo. But i had to stop it. And they do not end up eating their food. So i started turning off the tv until they finished their food. And making them ask permission to watch tv. I am very loving but very strict. Kids need the balance. |

siakhris: It ain't a big deal for now till he's a bit over 2years and completely capable of manipulating and emotionally blackmailin you (oh yes trust me our kids now are oddly smarter than we ever were) , then you can keep a cane nearby. For now he's innocent and acquitted. **modified** i skipped where u said he started teeth growing at 3months Lol. Well, i suggest if your spouse disagrees...you try good cop bad cop. So you don't start a fight. In her absence you can be d disciplinarian. Cheers It's really a big deal. My neighbour allowed their to be saying he was still a child. Now he is over 2yrs old and he throws tantrums around...pees on himself even if he can talk and say he needs to pee. He cries endlessly. He could cry non stop for over an hour. They are finding it hard to correct him now. Op i think you should start correcting him now. Do not think he is too young and he doesn't know what he is doing. Imagine my friend's 3month old that hides her thumb in a cloth to suck anytime her thumb is pulled out from her mouth when she is sucking. 3months old...i was weak. |

lofty900: Let's stop all this hypocrisy. Who told you the woman is defenseless? Always too quick to condemn a guy and defend the woman without knowing what transpired between them. No man will wake up one morning and start beating a woman who did nothing bad unless he's insane so next time you see a man beating a woman, instead of abusing the guy, find out what offense the woman committed because these women can be evil and wicked Walking away is better. Infact it is more painful for the woman when u ignore her and walk away. There is no logical reason to beat a woman. Don't even talk about what she did or said. In my secondary school, when a guy hit a girl, the soldiers will not even ask the guy what she did. They didn't care. They just ask the girl to pick his punishment and he must serve the punishment. It was like the gravest offense...the only offense where the offended picks d punishment. No man has a right to hit a lady...none whatsoever. If u now use that your muscle hands and kill her nko, the story will change. Your mouth will not be sharp again. Real men do not hit women. My husband would rather take a long drive to Maiduguri and back instead of hitting me.. .no matter what i do |
