Finally pairing a male and a female to sing is not always a good decision, women naturally have higher ranges and their high pitch and being able to belt at a higher octave may be mistaken for better singing.

I totally agree with you on this.
But the guys always seem to fair better. See Precious and that young guy with glasses. Yemi didnt pick him because she always picks the girls. But i think he was better

A confused character...not clear at all. A guy that acts that way is most likely gay. He is not just effeminate, everything about his mannerisms screams GAY!!! lipsrsealed

Two wrongs make no right, Killing him will not bring back the dead damsel, JUSTICE IS NOT SERVED

Nobody cares to understand why he did it, the authorities will not want to take blame for not grooming the mental mind of its officers.

WHAT GUARANTEE DO WE HAVE THAT ANOTHER OFFICER WILL NOT SHOOT ANOTHER CHEAT?? the thought of dying will only be soothing (that is if he/she does not take his/her own life too immediately.

DEAL WITH THE ROOT PROBLEM, NOT OFFER MEDICATION FOR THE ILLNESS
Another officer will think twice before doing it. And if he goes ahead, he will be killed...death ny hanging, by lethal injection...by firing squad. If another tries it again...same. and it goes on till they flush out the monsters pretending to be men out of the system.

I'm still not yet over Sunday's episode, it was literally beautiful, the awesome battles overshadowed the average ones.
1)Symeca vs Afolayan - the best? Maybe! I really enjoyed it. Afolayan deservedly won, not because Symeca was bad, but because his baritone was too hard too ignore.
Symeca get sense jare, he ran sharply to join Yemi, and I bet, he would go very very far.

2)Yimika vs Bunmi - it was so organic, felt it deep down my marrows. Beautiful! Yimika was my winner! WTH is Yemi thinking? She is driving away her male talents and leaving behind girls that can't compete with Timi and Waje girls..

3)Wow vs Pauly - Wow is good jare! They did justice to the song.

4)Grey vs Ebube - My least favourite of the night. Grey is finally gone, to think that more talented people were dropped because this guy had occupied their space was just annoying. Ebube clearly won, he has a nice tone.

5)Nwando vs Kendris - I don't really like the song sha, but the girl tried sha, but I think her constant urge to belt was her downfall, but that's what made the performance more interesting.

6)Precious vs Grace - Dope Dope Dope! It would go down as one of the best battles ever seen on The voice Nigeria. Precious did not disappoint his fellow fat people grin Powerhouse!!! Grace should have been saved, she did very well, and it can even be argued that she did better because at one point Precious was shouting and couldn't hold his notes, while she held her notes all through. He adds more variety to the show, so Timi was wise to pick him.
I thought i was the only one that noticed that Yemi Alade picks the girls over the guys

Sending her out doesn't do anything but makes her resent her family. She is still their responsibility even if she was foolish enough to have sex without thinking of her future.
It is better to punish her some other way. Let her combine schooling with motherhood. No one will look after the child while she goes out. Let her feel the whole weight of motherhood and live her life.I dont believe in sending her out.

Some idiot will come and say women have sharp mouths that she probably disrespected, provoked, insulted her husband. So what? It still does not justify beating. Only a weak man will show his strength on a woman. It takes strength to walk away.
Now that he has killed her, who cared if she was a witch. He should have sent her back to her parents.

All you guys bashing the man, how many will contribute financially to his account when he goes broke?
the man is trying to mange his new home the best way he can.

the issue at hand has append and he too was not happy about it and came to Nairaland to see how to remedy his new positions,
so why the bashing?

bros, welcome! your actions is 60% right, you were not told she is coming and she will be boiling much water with gas!
now you did what you did with anger or lack good thinking,
next time set some simple rules, like
telling each other when your In-laws are coming, and some manner to expect.
agree to disagree in the bedroom and when it's a draw give it a brake and come back to it another time with better information and convictions (if both are honest they will lean together no one is a winner! should be your watchword.

some in-laws are immature but find a way to let your partner (man or woman) know you too do necessarily support or like what your personal relation or even friends did. but you will work on them with the right approach. that way you work as a team. You may even not find issue with what they did but if your partner (wife or husband) is not happy you should find a way to clear the issue out, so that you two can love again! in the end its all about the two of you, until the kids start coming and getting in the way, even when that comes both of you will agree on parenting method to adopt. in all no to violence! no to laziness! and no dishonesty, Marriage is handwork but you have to learn how to make it easy by simple bonding rules. and the greatest rule of marriage = don't brake the bonding rule

here they are:
1 Listen to your heart but use your head (be sure s/he is your dream b4 falling in love/getting married) during courtship days
2 Listen to your partner's word and try to understand them (don't 2nd guess! at least ask him/her what exactly they mean)
3 Find it easy to say sorry when the other person feels hurt(and mean it even for no clear reason)
4 Say i love you to each other with a kiss every wake-up morning and at late sleep time.(kissing part is for couples only grin)
5 Put the 3rd party where they belong (outside your joy and marriage) show concern but not at the expense of your partner.
6 Always remember why you fell in love and compromise often; but for reasonably cause too!(say NO NO to violence, manipulation and nagging people are hardly cured of these) search your bible
7 Forget the past errors and close that page!( don't remember there was too much salt in her soup last week)
8 Always remember good deeds and say it his/her hearing (i can still remember how you came home with my favourite apple brand such word make him/her go a step further to get not only the apple but the right brand even if it's far!)
9 Be truthful and hardworking in your responsibility, s/he will know you tried even if d result is poor!(encourage each other)
10 Do the dishes together that way you have a project that remind you to wash away the error too!
11 Be his/her best friend and don't pretend you don't miss him/her
12 Don't brake the rules just because you can! prove you are a better lover by keeping the if not doing more!

When you marry a woman, you marry the whole family. It doesn't mean you should go all out to spend on them. But when they visit, you need to accommodate them. What about his cousin livng with him? Is he not feeding that one on a daily basis? The SIL only visitedand he flipped because she boiled water and even gave instructions to monitor her activities. If he wants to be counting every kobo, he shouldn't have got married. Marriage is for matured minds.

Even if they are from a wealthy home, kids need to be taught basic lessons in life. Obviously, that kid has been over indulged right from small. He is probably given everything he requests since the money is there.
Children need to be deprived of somethings sometimes just to bring them up properly.
You cannot blame this boy now. He is just exhibiting what has been deposited in him

Expecting forgiveness from some women is like waiting for a ship in an airport.
.
Once you have decided, activate spirituality. The porton that says FORGIVE OTHERS THEIR SINS so that urs maybe forgiven, is like they don't read it. Yet they are more in religious gathering.

I once told a committed girl in church that I can't go on committing immorality with her that we should avoid places that we maybe left on our own to avoid temptation. I said this cause my conscience was accusing me of sin after the preaching I heard, I was very sorry for myself and I needed to live right.

I explained everything to this girl but the answer she gave me shocked me! She said, what non sense are you talking about? Just tell me you have found another girl and stop hiding under preaching to talk non sense.

My dear, that was the day I asked myself a question... WHAT DO WOMEN FEAR IN THIS WORLD! If one can't fear God, what else. You maybe thinking that that girl or woman fear God...let anything, I repeat anything stand between her and her treasure that's when you will be in for a shocker.

Don't worry too much about looks or skills, look for one who fears God. Truth is only God can lead you to her or bring her your way.

Rmba the Bible says, beauty is deceiveful.
Even if he activates spirituality and becomes a pastor, his atrocities will still catch up with him. Law of cause and effect will definitely materialize. He should just try to live his life better and pray for grace to face the future.

Are you literally saying men have no role to play in child upbringing, if a father smokes and his kids end up smoking whose reflection is it? this is a matter nobody should pass buck on, male kids are getting sexualized too not just the female ones.
Men have a part to play but in most cases since the mum takes care of most aspects of the child's upbringing, she plays a major role. Things like dressing, body and hair products, courtesy(greeting and comporting themselves), manners, etc.
This doesn't mean the father does not play a role too

jaszplus12:
first I want to thank the OP for such rhoughtful topic.
then i want start by saying the men must first take the blame ...because its how they perceive rheir wifes appearance and approve that the wife transfers to her kids specially the daughters. if a man loves his wife in bum shorts no problem, but that should not become tradition to pass on to kids of tender age and this can be curtailed by the man, the woman understands and makes sure the kids are dressed as kids not kids in adult mode.
movies women watch also has great influence on them. telemundo series has captured and imprisoned our wives so much they no longer concentrate on basic chores. especially the spanish versions where sex and smooching always take centre stage. because the wives cant miss a serie they are weak in changing channels or watching in privacy. kids see all the erotic moves and why not? they do same or their bodies respond like it or not.
music is no longer the food for calmness and rest...lyrics are filled wit lewdness and the videos sell basically because hips are swayed and skin is exposed! its disheartening.
deal with the situations now else you will have a lot to regret in future no matter how you deny it.
fathers mothers work together and save yiurselves the embarrasment!
Very true. The kids are always a reflection of their mums. Men should keep that in mind when they pick a wife and mother of their kids.
And thank God Telemundo has not arrested me..lol. would rather watch supersports than do telemundo

I love this post. It is really happening especially at parties. I have made up my mind that my kids will be kids till they are adults. No hair extensions of any sort...no make up except lip balm during harmattan period. No watching musical videos that show lewd dance steps. No adult clothings. There are so many clothes that can be decentand beautiful on them.
I would rather promote reading, sports and kids activities.

About the 1,000 refund, some people are actually irresponsible about booking a taxi. You cannot book and cancel when the driver is already on his way. We abuse some processes.
