NairalandCS: Make your point just as mhizesther as done without bringing someone's mother and sister into it simple.
But no, you won't. instead you prefer to turn your frustration on me.
Edakun, Maabinu. The truth is that OP already mentioned his mother and sister when he generalized and put all naija girls into one bucket. |

Guys just keep starting one female bashing topic or the other. If you have a personal issue with a girl that offended you, please man up and face her rather than hiding behind a thread to generalize and bash all ladies.
Ladies also get offended and heartbroken by naija guys but you dont see us opening several threads like cry babies wailing up and down.
And you should try to stop dating the same kind of ladies. Go for the ones with brains for once. You cannot keep doing the same thing and expect a different result. We cannot be receiving insults for the dumb girls you encounter. Be guided |

EternalTruth: Dont be so foolish. I said Nigerian girls and not Nigerian women. You lack comprehension and need to go back and further your education from were you stopped. My mother is a Nigerian Woman and not a girl. The topic is referred to Naija girls within the age ranges 15-29 of which is obvious that you fall among this category. My sisters are exempted too cos they are all married. Your sisters, mother, aunties, nieces are all girls...girls ..naija girls. Especially your mum...she is a naija girl. Stupid topic. |

itzzhoneybee: let me tell you its because of the part of d world we are that's y all these stuffs matter. Mr or Mrs is not a sign of respect its a title and I never said friends could address u with ur maiden name I said first name I know too well what maiden name means after all God's name is God we don't call him Mr God and it doesn't mean we disrespect him. first name is cool in some situations , maiden name for a married woman is a total No No. The first name issue is more cultural/tribal than marital. It's mostly the yorubas that will see calling their first name as an insult. Maybe we should try to separate that. Well except he means the maiden name. But i dont see people using their maiden names when the surname has changed. |

konfused: Hmmmm, thank you, the part of the baby loosing weight is getting me worried?
Am I being selfish on insisting EBF
I really don't like formula feeding, with all the chemicals, and presevatives.
I will try to get her to eat more of the foods mentioned to enhance more breast milk production. I really want her to do the EBF for 6months at least. Exclusive breast feeding is good but please an open mind. I was at the hospital last week. A woman gave birth through CS. She was too weak to even sit up to try and breastfeed. The nurses had no choice but to get formula because the baby needed to eat. EBF is advisable but in cases where it doesn't work out, the baby will still be fine chemical or not. Other babies have survived especially those that lost their mums at birth. My nephew wasn't given exclusive and he is still sharp...always first in class. Nothing is cast and stone. If you do EBF or not, the babies will still turn out well. |

Omotayor123: Toks with all due respect, you're a Man and a Mature one at that. You don't have to reply to every mention. if that's how you retaliate to every insults offline, then I'm speechless.
Though, you may find some comments out of place and be tempted to reply, but really, it's not worth it. Don't be surprised that most of the females you're trading words with are far below you especially in age.
This thread is yours, and you have made your point, it's left for the reader to agree or disagree, they are entitled to their opening.
But trading words with them, is below my expectations of you, I believe you're far mature and better than that.
I agree most of the commenters jump into conclusion without knowing your true story. Just waka pass and leave them to their imagination.
I pray you get married soonest, so all this ladies go get something else to talk about pls. STOP.
Have a Nice Day. Really, not everyone is meant to give relationship/marriage advice. And people have a right to disagree. People just come out with different lists of dos and donts and expect everyone to take it hook line and sinker. And sometimes age does not necessarily mean someone is wiser. Our National Assembly is a good example. |
Romance › Re: All About A Man.... Respect Him! by ImaIma1(f): 1:44pm On Jun 19, 2017 |
sexybbstar: SAVE OUR HUSBANDS!
Why do husbands in Africa die most times before wives? A husband in Africa in most cases is under intense tension because he is responsible for:
Children school fees House rents Electricity bills Medical bills Generator fuel & repairs Car fuel and repairs Feeding of family Clothes for children Xmas and New year bills Furniture &House maint In-laws wahala/demand His own aged parents His siblings most times His wife's demands Vigilante bills Erecting Building Religious demands Family social bills Electronics bills Recharge cards Extended family bills Community demands
On top of the above, he also faces:
Wife stress/insults Boss stress at work Police stress on the way Area boys stress Kidnappers fear Friends stress Economy stress Fear of job loss Unemployment pains Armed Robbery stress Children misbehaviour Neighbours stress Bank loan paymnt stress Witchcraft stress Demonic attack stress Sex stress ....and so on! OMG!!
Are these reasons not enough for all African Wives to understand and give their husbands peace at home? Are men not trying? How can an African man with this kind of load be romantic like an American man? Women, please give your husband peace at home. Encourage your husband. Stop being sarcastic to him. Except if you like to join the widows club early! Note: That club is not funny. Ask members. Help your husband. Contribute to the family. Be a helper. Be submissive. Stop nagging. Build your home and marriage. It is not greener outside there. Don't be deceived!! Let our men and husbands live long like you. Men dey beg una.
This is all about a woman https://www.nairaland.com/3859779/all-woman-respect OP that was in the olden days when only the man worked and handled everything. Now some women even handle 70%, 50%,etc. Each household to its own. You learn to manage and support each other accordingly |

I was just going through my facebook page when I stumbled on a picture of one of the hearts I broke, and to my surprise she was getting married. I couldn't help myself but feel pity for the husband because aahhh!! my God if the husband should hear a quarter of what I did to his wife eehhnnn he will divorce her with immediate alacrity. I remember all the methotrex..... And Misoprost..... That this girl used and I just hope all her reproductive organs are still in tact make she no go swear for me oooo!!! What makes me a monster is that there were so many of them. The babe has moved on despite what you did to her. Funny thing is you are the one suffering. The one carrying the burden of hating and going up and down breaking hearts. Are you the first to be heartbroken? Continue destroying yourself. When you are done, you will realize the emptiness in your soul. |

PaperLace: This shows that kids are smart and sensitive: they see and hear every. It takes a virtuous woman to keep a home and a loving man to get the best out of that virtuous woman.
Men should take it easy on the dictatorship. When you lord over your wife, she might rebel or better still give you the total submission you seek _ but we all need someone to counter us with reverence. Who else is better for the job if not ones spouse that knows you in and out? You're the head and a good wife knows this, you don't have to go out of your way to prove it.
A good woman is more powerful than you know, she is very analytical and discerning. When you take away that power to voice out her concerns, by forcing her into sheepish submission , there shall be issues. Maybe not now, but in future.
Some couples spend so much energy fighting themselves at home. Both trying to outdo the other _that's why they don't have any energy remaining for work and lovemaking . Kids are smarter than we thing. I realized it when i watched my friend's baby. When you stop her from sucking her thumb, she takes a cloth and covers her thumb in her mouth to hide it. A 3months old baby. Don't underestimate them |

Toks2008: The day you ladies start reading my threads without sentiments is the day you will start seing the true message.
You can as well create a thread pointing to the men too.
Once you get married, your status changes and by right your name so that respect must come with it expecially in public.
Will Ambode's friends publicly call him Ambode to his face without putting Governor or your excellency? I disagree with this point. The fact that i am married doesn't change my name. So should i tell my family members and relatives to call me madam or Mrs. As long as calling me by my name doesn't interfere with my status as a married woman, it is fine. Life is not that hard. |

Afonjashapmouth: Why do some people resort to "my girlfriend left me" when I was nothing, let's be realistic what father would let their daughter be pinned down to an uneducated street footballer at her early stage of life Would you ever let your own daughter She made a decision which every lady is entitled to. If reverse was the case men depending in women, how many of us would stay and be faithful in hardship and not seek sugar mummies?? Let's do table turns sometimes guys and leave this after breakthrough sentiments. After all the girl might not be made for you. Let guys talk about my wife left me and not girlfriend abeg, if leprosy has strucked the girl back then would he have married her ..Happy for you though You said it right. Besides a lady has a right to date or stop dating a guy the same way a guy has. It is really not by force. If it is not working for her, she can move on. What if she stayed till he became rich and he still dumped her? Life itself is a risk. It is not compulsory she ends up with Ighalo. |

It's your type that will push her mother in law down the staircase or be slapping your husband up and down.
You are a classic case of domestic violence, a psychological wreck and I pity the unfortunate man man that will marry this demented creature. Only an evil and diabolical mind like your own will justify domestic violence against men. Hahahahaha you sound so much like a child right now . Dont tell me you are going to cry. Are you a man at all? Baby boo boo boo boo. Domestic violence indeed. Grow up small na and let it reflect in the way you speak. I have brothers too and they don't exhibit these traits the poster mentioned. Most of them are not ready to get married. When they do, they ask their mum about everything. If they decide on something with their wives, they change it after they discuss it with their mother. They have still not left their father and MOTHER to cling to their wives. |

Tiffbuxas: Babe I wish you well o... I pray u don't av unnecessary issues with ur in laws due to your insecurities My mum inlaw and I are cool. My hubby doesn't even know when i call her. We even gossip about him sometimes. His dad is late. Him and his mum talk almost everyday and it doesn't bother me. They both understand what marriage is about and my mum inlaw does not interfer on our matters. He hardly discusses our issues with her just like i dont report or discuss our issues with my family. They are all 3rd parties. There is no power tussle because he is very mature and wise about the situation. Maybe it is a tribe thing. Most women i have seen from our tribe respect their sons and son's wives and try to do things to make their lives simple not complicated. They train their sons and leave them to be their own men. It is the same 9months that they carried the sons for. They hardly ever interfer in your choice of a wife. You become one of their daughters instead of an outsider that they keep trying to frustrate. So i dont understand all these "my mum is my life" "nobody can separate us". Yes love your mum no doubt but you aint kids no more. I dont even like clingy children. Grow up and live your life. I can only guide and pray not control. |

Do you know that rudeness, nagging are all part of domestic violence
A man does not have any excuse to beat his wife so does a woman does not have any excuse to be rude or nag her husband. Just get that into your empty skull. You can pass your message across without displaying your stup!dity, leaking mouth and level of verbal abuse ok? You can do that to your wife/gf since you are the person the OP is talking about.
