@sleekjd, i wasnt taught to wish u dead So I wont.

@ caseless, u said it all.

@Ima Ima, u need to explain whom their brothers and sisters are. To start with, Alhaji Dokubo Asari is a muslim, u prolly want to move his family out of Niger-Delta. 50% of the south-west are Muslims, i wonder what you want to do to them. And there are Northern christians too. obviously u ddnt give that much thoughts.

Many pple here wld b worse than bokoharam pple given the same opportunity. Your hate is a time bomb, soon to explode.
i said MUSLIMS, that means muslims, whether northern or southern. northern CHRISTIANS are not muslims.u said it urself.so get the difference.there are no sentiments here.

they read d same quoran and believe in Allah. whether they r yorubas, hausas or ibos, ISLAM is ISLAM

@Ima Ima,
If u'r not sure of any question, please don't answer it, just say your own opinion. Kindly read Deut. 26 v13 - 15, you will see the pple you can pay your tithes to the levites( priests), the foreigners, the orphans, and the windows so that in every community they will have all they need to eat.

@ Maki

You can read the verse too, and you can give your tithe to the less privileged ones in our community so that they can have all they need to eat.

@All,

I know that some of us are pastors, and will want all tithes to come to them, but tell your congregation the truth. I rest my case
thank u for the correction. i can see that u have all the answers.carry on!

I Know for certain that these 3 guys do not pay tithes. My question is why do you think you are healthy and financially bouyant because you pay tithes when there are millions of people in the world just as healthy and wealthyas you who do not pay tithes. Your reference to other religions having some gods kind of makes me think you are not a strong Xtian because what I deduce you are saying with that statement is that those people are healty and wealthy cause they are giving some form of tithes or offering to their gods. Does that mean you beleiev in the existence of some other powerful gods?

Whatever happened to thou shalt have no other gods
well if u knew anything about being a xtian, i would have reasoned with u and explained myself.however i dont think u really wanna know. i think u are just looking for more ammunition 2 back up ur ideology.

besides, arguing religion and beliefs has never done any good. so, i permit u to draw any conclusion as u hv alrdy started doing.

their brothers and sistershuh How possible is that. Ur suggestion will cause more wahala than the present one
how will it cause more problems?pls explain

Christianity Etc › Re: What Pastors Ought To Do With Tithe Money by ImaIma1(f): 12:25pm On Jan 27, 2012
@norrisman, do they go around telling pple tht they paid their tithes?and even 4 those tht are not xtian, they hv loyalties to some being or god. even in the traditional ways, people took chickens, yam, hot dinks, etc to the gods.but ryt now we cnt fill up d church wit those stuffs now, can we?

if u dont believe, u dont believe. as one person on dis forum said, u cnt use common sense 4 God.

@Maki, i cnt tell u wht to do. use ur discernment. i hv said all i can
Politics › Re: The Boko Haram Story-one You May Not Have Heard Of by ImaIma1(f): 12:00pm On Jan 27, 2012
@onyocha.it is indeed a religious issue. boko haram made it religious when dey started bombing churches.

wht dis islamic fanatics shld understand is that we r not all muslims in Nigeria and they cnt force their blivs down our throats.
Christianity Etc › Re: What Pastors Ought To Do With Tithe Money by ImaIma1(f): 11:56am On Jan 27, 2012
@maki, if u bliv in tithing, u'l know that u cnt interchange both. if u want to do something else 4 someone in need, its a choice.u dont need 2 sacrifice ur tithe.

for instance, if u usually give ur mum a monthly stipend ot 10k and then someone truly in need comes to u 4 help, would u give ur mums stipend to tht person?

dis is not ur mom we r talking abt sha.its GOD. he gave u d money in d first place.
Christianity Etc › Re: What Pastors Ought To Do With Tithe Money by ImaIma1(f): 11:51am On Jan 27, 2012
some pple pay tithes for d wrong reasons and wit a wrong mindset.its better not to pay it if u dont really believe in it.

with tithing, the devourer is rebuked 4 ur sake.tht means things like sickness and unnecessary bills dont come ur way. i bliv in tithing and bliv it or not, i hardly fall sick and beyond my salary, i get legit money from angles dt i cant imagine.

in my church, we do a LOT for d less privileged bt my pastor doesnt bliv in broadcasting it. last year, we bought foodstuffs clothes and things for pple in south sudan tht jst separated. provided electricity and bought a big gen 4 an orphange there. shared things for pple n evangelists there.

and durin xmas, we bought complete xmas clothes n shoes 4 d children in d orphanage. some churches do stuff.dont stand from afar and judge

wow!!! i missed out

@ Deols whtever was done 2 them in the past, whatever pity we wld hv had for the unjust actions done against them in d past has been completely wiped off by their insane murdering of people that know nothing abt their issue wit d authorities

they are just a bunch of irrational people. it wld hv bn better to separate them, with ALL their muslim brothers and sisters and let them practise their sharia without problems in their own country.

we need peace in Nigeria and they are bloody well making that impossible to achieve.

[size=8pt][size=8pt]These women are still poorrrrrrrrr, before and after makeup. Omotola what’s your slow point, I didn’t know you’re so daft. Why not use your fame to get the women some finance for business, even 50,000 each is like a treasure to some of them, making them up will not pay their children’s school fees. I used to like omotola but, kai, I’m disappointed!!!
And btw, I de fear makeup ooooo, whaaaaathuhhuh

if u r so caring, why dont u look for d women and give them d money? omotola did her bit.why not take it from der?

the power of life and death lies in the tongue.

God fights for his people, "i will curse those who curse you, and bless those who bless u, "

its best to air ur views civilly and without throwing insults. the insults are not needed.
Celebrities › Re: Omotola ’s Foundation Oyep Gives 20 Widows Amazing Makeovers by ImaIma1(f): 9:59am On Jan 26, 2012
even if she dint give them anything, at least they smiled for one day and enjoyd a massage, makeover and all. i bet they also talked to them about maintaining a positive outlook in life

omotola doesnt owe anything to these women, she cld hv jst sat in her house or travelled to abu dhabi n enjoyed herself. but she decided to do something 4 those women.that is commendable.

expert55, i concluded that u r not just a smart person. very loose-mouthed and pessimistic. u are a sadist and d kind of person dt is ready to attack instead of appreciate. wht hv u ever done for somebody?u just open ur gutter and dirty water mixed with spirogyra gushes out.
Christianity Etc › Re: Nairalanders Incurring God's Wrath By Abusing God's Men by ImaIma1(f): 9:27am On Jan 26, 2012
yes people are so quick to judge and throw abuses at these pastors.

its best not to bring curses upon urself by raining abuses. the best thing is to live ur life, do ur part and leave the pastors to God. God is the ultimate judge. the pastors cannot stop my blessings from God from coming. whether they chop d tithe or not, i still enjoy my blessings.

OP in school, some people failed but that didnt stop many pple from passing

in life people try out a new business n fail, tht doesnt mean someone else did not succeed in it

many couple have had failed marriages, tht doesnt mean some r not enjoying their marriages.my parents hd a good marriage.my siblings make me envious of their marriages.

so its either u work hard at it, or chicken out. good things dont come to everyone esp d ones dt r too lazy to persist

Romance › Re: Is Waiting Until Marriage An Outdated Concept? by ImaIma1(f): 1:48pm On Jan 24, 2012
i dont think being a virgin is an issue.its just tht d guys cnt handle it. they want to sample the product.

some guys here are saying they prefer non virgins cos of more satisfaction or whtever. its not like d marriage is jst the first night na. as time goes, she becomes a force in the act and the beginning becomes history.

tht being said, not being a virgin is not equal to being a LovePeddler or whtever.

the situation in Nigeria is so depressing.it seems elimination of corruption is something tht cannot be achieved in dis country.it jst seems impossible cos there is no transparency in govt.

i used to bliv things wld get better bt it seems to be getting worse.haba!!!! the greed, corruption and other vices is in depth.

i think d only solution wld be if all d forces in govt are eliminated including Jonathan like wht hpnd in Ghana.
