Your problem is comprehension.
A car's documents comprise of Registration and proof of Insurance only. But in Nigeria, they want you to carry all kinds of documents --Registration, 3rd party insurance, Proof of Ownership, Tint permit, ECMR, etc. That's how they complicate otherwise simple things.

I will try as much as possible to make the write-up short.

I am a 21years old guy at a Russian university with two Nigerian roommates (In the hostel though). We averagely get the same amount of money as an allowance monthly, but mine always finishes first.

I don't spend unnecessarily on myself, and we cook together. I discovered after two months of staying together that they care less about buying things that we generally use in the room. For instance, I always buy food season, detergents, and cooking oil (quite expensive).

I cook most of the time. Anytime I decide not to cook, we always go hungry and I can't cope with that. This has made my cash always run out faster and I can't stop them from eating my food or using the things I buy.

There was a time also I lend the last money with me (100k in naira) to my best friend then in Nigeria because he claimed his dad was sick and promised to repay by month-end. I didn't have anything to take me through the remaining days of the month but I gave it out because he was a close friend. Month-end, I couldn't get money from my sponsor because of some issues. I contacted my guy but he stopped replying to me on WhatsApp. I managed to get 20k but the rest is probably history now.

Whenever people talk about their problems, I always feel for them to the extent of giving out my money even if it's the last cash on me. I have never had a girlfriend, but I don't always have the strength to reject if a girl asks for airtime or money from me (including my mum and sisters though)

I always try to go to any length to see people happy even if it means borrowing money from another person for them. I'm that foolish. Generally, I'm too soft-hearted and nice but I don't know how to solve this problem. Someone advised me I should get a girlfriend who should always be angry with me if I'm being too nice to people and that will help me solve the problem to some extent but I think it won't.

I'm not from a rich family, not even from an average family. I'm even from a polygamous home so I know what it means to have suffered as a Nigerian. I was on the street and I guess that's what is making me this weak emotionally. I'm a simp all-around in my life and relationship with people. People are always cheating on me, taking advantage of who I am.

People wont understand this. I was on trial in the crown court last summer and whilst I was on the stand, it got so comical that at some point I started laughing at the story the well spoken prosecutor was narrating even though I was facing 6 charges and prison time if convicted.

The prosecutor look at the facts of the case and come up with as plausible a story as possible. In court, lawyers dont say maybe, they say things ike they were there and saw it happen.

People think it is by shouting online and quoting laws up and down. Inside the legal system is a whole beast of its own. They think that one has to be guilty to be convicted. We have had recent cases of people wrongfully convicted having their convictions overturned after decades in prison. Suspects are just pawns.

The prosecutor may opt for "nolle prosequi" on July 9th. Then what? It is a crazy world indeed.

I remembered when I working at Allen & living at Palmgroove àxis on 25k salary. My Boss went to his Village to lavish money in December & my school fees deadline was 26th. He paid me a sum of 20k as salary.
I wept that day. He's now contesting in Akwa-Ibom. So many things I can talk about.

No need to educate you folks. Some of you have never been to a real court.
The government lawyer(the prosecutor) will twist the stories to fit his or her narratives. It is up to the Defense attorney to poke holes in the prosecutor's charges. It is a battle. The prosecutor's job is to ensure that they are convicted. The Defense attorney's job is to counter him/her, provide legal counsel to Ekweremadu and arrange a plea deal for them if necessary. Some prosecutors can be very aggressive.

Either way, I wish them luck. Pray never to be used in the Chess play in a legal system. Do I feel sorry for the Ekweremadus? No! The level of impunity in Nigeria is outrageous.

The problem is that you believe the venue should be a house of God while the pastor sees the venue as his place of business. Sunday is for church business. Whatever the pastors makes on Sunday is probably what s/he uses to take care of his or her family for each week. No church is sending you to heaven.

We always like to pretend like we don't know how things go in this country because the person at the receiving end is either not one of us or don't agree with us.

If you have had a relation with kidney problems in Nigeria, and kidney problems are very common these days, you would have known that getting a donor most times depends on how much you want to pay, if the donor is not a family member.(

Obviously this guy was promised a huge sum to donate, they got to The UK and it was noticed that his kidneys can't match with hers, which means that he has to go back to Nigeria. Aware that he might not be paid as promised because he didn't donate as agreed and not sure of a good future in Nigeria after returning, he bolted away with all sorts of sickening tales.

This is the plausible pattern of events and although Ekweremmadu is not my favorite politician, this accusations of human trafficking and organs harvesting as far as I'm concerned, all look staged to dramatize the whole story for media effects.

Do you know how many Nigerians that go through US Embassy and Immigration in just a year? There is nothing about Nigeria that UK officials haven't heard or seen. Ik Ekweremadu and wife "may" escape prison in this case but the harm is done already. It may seem that Ekweremadu's nemesis is always in Europe.
