MMM scam was easy. X and Y started MMM in Nigeria as Guider extraordinaire. X renders help to Y (both are partners in crime) for N1b. All X did was upload fake payment voucher, and Y confirmed. And they use their system to match player with X who pays him N1.3b return in real cash. To keep the system running, they match the little guys with one another to keep oiling the system in order to suck in new members. Eg. Chuddy provides help to wife (different surname, different account). But there is no cash transaction. He uploads a forged teller and the wife confirms it. Remember that Chuddy and his co-travellers are managing the database--garbage in, garbage out. Then MMM system matches folks to provide help in the amount + 30% to Chuddy. So if the forged teller is N1b, Chuddy receives N1.3b without putting up a dime (all raw cash and pure profit) since the only overhead is the cost of maintaining and manipulating the database. Meanwhile MMM keeps working for the little guys to keep the confidence level up. But the guiders know that at some point the system will be saturated and will collapse just like every ponzi scheme. The sad part is that while players lost real money, Chuddy gained raw cash and lost nonexistent funds. Very smart set of criminals. \ |
gemale:/ NDIC insurance is what they use to calm nerves of customers. NDIC will not pay you a dime if a bank collapses. Ask ACB, CCB and Community banks' customers how much they got from NDIC after the banks collapsed. \ |
/ Is there any difference between MMM players and suckers who pay tithe to jet-flying scammers? They are all victims of circumstances. \ |
/ If MMM pulls this off and comes back in January, it will be the biggest financial help anyone has ever rendered to Nigerians. Afterall, people would have drawn their money, blow it on Christmas celebration and come back broke in January. But if MMM keeps their own end of the bargain in January, school fees, rent, food, etc will be paid. Kudos MMM. I always believe that every disappointment is a blessing in disguise. \ |
/ Behind every major engineering work in Nigeria, there is always a whiteman. Are Nigerian engineers daft? \ |
/ Do you have money in the bank? If yes, don't laugh at MMM folks yet. It is a matter of kettle mocking pot for being black. Every financial system is at the risk of collapse any time of the day. Ask Cyprus, their government confiscated 40% of depositors' funds a few years ago. MMM and traditional banks are both financial risks of different magnitudes. \ |
/ 2 types of people that invest in MMM: A. Noisy players -- they brag about the profit they are making and try to lure new customers. B. Silent players -- they play without admitting it to avoid the shame if it crashes. But they gleefully wait for returns every month. There are more MMM players in Nigeria than one could imagine. // |
tosyne2much:MMM will be back in business in January. This is just a litmus test. MMM crash should be bigger than this. If there are not many people talking about crash of MMM, take your money out and run for the hills. NB: I don't expect MMM to survive beyond 2017. |
spyder880:Thanks |
/ House: What is the prospect of a newcomer in the block industry business in the East? There is a consideration for fully mechanized block and interlocking moulding in the East to keep my people busy. Any suggestion(s) will be highly appreciated. cc: Spyder880 4nobod4every1 \ |
/ Why do christians mourn when someone dies? Are they doubting the existence of a better place? Or it is tears of joy? \ |
/ Democrats have good ways of marketing laziness tilted towards socialism and masked in euphoria of phantom egalitarianism. The fact is that Donald Trump is a better candidate than Hillary Clinton. \ |
/ Do you know what is a drone? \ |
/ I guess the Python is still learning how to dance. \ |
/ They got what they deserve. ARIK has been in the news lately for everything on how not to run an airline--delayed flights, cancelled flights, missing luggage, rude customer service reps. Yet, this folks went ahead and bought ARIK tickets. Were they expecting miracles? ARIK deserves to be left the hell alone. But will Nigerians listen? Perhaps, it will take ARIK plane crash to sink in. \ |
/ One would think that the government would have put together some plans to check the excesses of the tanker drivers and containers' haulage companies. The petrol tanker drivers should be limited to night operations. This is one death too many. How many thousand lives will be lost before this issue will be addresses? Every week is a story of petrol tanker falling and roasting people to death. \ |
/ Is there a reason why top military and paramilitary officers carry walking sticks in Nigeria? \ |

otunbaa:/ Everything you stated above is possible. Some people do bury stuff during the foundation stage of their houses. It is nothing new. But the first mistake your fiance' made was moving to Nigeria in the hope of finding a job. Job in Nigeria should have been her third and last option. She has no friends in US to assist her back? Unbelievable! \ |
/ What is the significance of the Caucasian or Egyptian influenced sculptures to his so-called kingdom? \ |
/ I don't see anything wrong in what they are doing. They have money which they don't know what to do with. So they decided to hand it over to the club owner (who may be a good custodian of money) for bottles of champagne . After all, he built the club for suckers -- a There is always something good in anything bad. Money is never lost. It is usually transferred from idiotas to smart ones. \ |
/ The way they are advertising marriage in Nigeria could easily have spinsters spin out of control with high blood pressure. // |
/ A titled, respected and wealthy man can get one for his son especially around the Aniocha part of Anambra state. \ |
IAmBhijay:Just say that you have plots of land at ibejulekki to sell. There is no need for all the long stories. |
/ Refuse dumping in Nigeria. \ |
Nutase:/ Next time you see a house, walk over there and ask the owner to explain to you how he/she made his/her money. \ |
Sunnymatey:/ It is educational especially for the folks that go to Ilorin, Owerri, Kaduna, Ibadan, Enugu, PH, Minna, etc. and take pictures of roundabouts to brag about how developed Nigeria has become. You look around, those cities have no pipe borne water, electricity supply is erratic, bad roads everywhere and poor waste management is the norm. Yet they even have the audacity to come online to fight over it--comparing one mediocre with another. / |
/ Either way, it doesn't make sense to me to spend N400k on a phone that will be obsolete in 1 year. Folks who bought iphone 5s two years ago will be feeling like crap right now. And the ones that threw down thousands for iphone 6s last year will be envious of iphone 7 braggarts. At least developed countries will let you trade in your old iphone for upgrade. But for Africans, I believe it is an outright buy. Funny thing is that iphone 7 has functionalities that about 90% of users will never know or use. \ |
\\ Can she do that with a koran? \\ |
spyder880:/ Called your number, no answer. Message sent through whatsapp...not delivered. \ |
// As a doctor, you have a list of mediocre doctors programmed in your brain that you and your family members must avoid. This is a secret you take to the grave. You go by trust or by referral from a trusted colleague. \\ |
