God bless you. quote author=alBHAGDADI post=83847174]That last guy really schooled and exposed Daddy Freeze. ![]() Who told Daddy Freeze that Satan can't kill? Satan can only kill those whom God is not protecting. Had it been God didn't tell Satan not to touch Jobs life, Satan would have killed him. Job 1:12 (KJV) And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD. But according to Daddy Freeze who quoted a scripture to counter that guy, Satan has the power to kill and destroy the soul. That is wrong or perhaps he's equating Satan to God. While others including Satan can destroy the body, only God has the power to destroy a soul. Matthew 10:28 (KJV) And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Below is Jesus Christ calling Satan a murderer. But Daddy Freeze says he knows more than Jesus who created Lucifer that became Satan. John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. There goes your knowledgeable Daddy Freeze. He's a liar and speaketh of his own.
|
"Oyedepo shouldn't see himself as rich until every member of his church is rich?" Really? Let me ask: who maketh one rich? Man or God?You quote scriptures, but it's clear you lack spiritual understanding. Who are you exactly? Who knows you? How many lives have you impacted? Or because you quote scriptures you suddenly think you have graduated to speaking against those who are monumental success? Hear me and go hug a transformer afterward: Bishop Oyedepo isn't only rich but wealthy. And hear me again: even to the next four generations, his kids offspring can never know lack, and before he calls for help, help comes in droves. That's what wealth is. If I were you, I would be careful how I speak of someone who is clearly doing something right. I don't know your name or where you come from. And you dare lecture people on what it means to have right standing with God? You truly don't know Papa Oyedepo. And that's why you talk about him dishonouring the poor. Winners is one church that no one gives you special privileges because you are a millionaire. And papa doesn't restrain from saying it. You sit where you like irrespective of what you wear. Nobody even announces how much anyone gives. Papa will always say: the soul of the rich and that of the poor is the same before God; win all of them to Christ. Souls after souls go to winners for help and get it. Widows are on perpetual pay roll, scholarship offerings, accommodation stipends, etc. And you dare speak ill against Oyedepo's ministry? How I pity you. You need to visit canaanland and see the attention they pay to avoiding waste. No wonder papa is so blessed. Every single penny is accounted for, and put to good use. The transparency is second to none. So, I advise you to shut up, yes, shut up and speak no more of what you know nothing about. You aren't a Christian because you quote scriptures, you are one when you act like it. Even when David had cause to hurt Saul, he refrained himself. Yet, you come on a platform like this and derail a man of God, and you start wondering where your problems are coming from. Papa Oyedepo doesn't owe you or anyone Nada. The church isn't in place to repair roads, in case your sanctimonious soul missed it. Keep speaking against those who have what you crave, and you will never enjoy it. And for your information, I don't attend Winners, but will forever speak up for this man of God, who have a heart of God like nothing I have seen. So, again I urge you to thread wisely. jesusjnr: |
In my opinion, your priorities are wrongly placed. You seem to be more concerned about how your woman is perceived by people, than on how much she impacts you. So, let her go and go marry a woman of the people. I know it could be really frustrating when a lady or guy is overly reserved; especially if you are very outgoing. But who says there aren't always prices to pay in love? There are definitely reasons she is acting that way. Low self esteem, lack of trust in people, etc. These are reasons why some people yield themselves from people. They are scared of being hurt or judged. So, maybe your cross is to ensure that you make her know how special she is, and how much the world needs to enjoy her warmth as well. Build her emotional bank account. As she begins to get familiar with your family and friends she will loosen up. If you love her that much, then you should walk her through her fears of shielding from people. She must have had a difficult childhood void of love. Don't just say she is reserved; find out the root cause of this. For there always is. Albeit, if you feel this is one cross you aren't prepared to carry, kindly let her go. Because if you aren't ready to defend her and shield her from friends and family, while you help her come out of her phobia for people, then you truly don't deserve her. quote author=ginaolo post=83099057]I met her randomly on the road it wasn’t in a social setting. But how do I deal with her not wanting to meet family and friends? It’s disrespectful to me. As a wife you have to be open to meet my family atleast, when they are always asking about her, I can’t keep on making excuses for her na. People think there’s something wrong with my gf even though I’ve told them she is the shy type.
|
Being a born again Christian entails understanding when, how, and where you speak about your reservations of the Christian faith. That is the definition of loyalty. Christianity isn't a religion -- has never been and will never be. Hence, no point considering whether you want to port from it. If you are considering porting because of the ills carried out by clerics, then you have no idea what Christianity is. And in my opinion, you truly need to sort this out. Because, you haven't seen anything yet. The Bible we embrace clearly spells that lots of people will fall out from the faith in the last days. Or isn't it clear in yours? How does one who truly has embraced Christ consider abandoning Him because someone else did? Or you think Christ is impressed when His name is blasphemed amongst the gentiles by those who should hold His Name in awe? So, I ask again: What exactly is your "born-againism" built on? On clerics, other Christians, or on the living God? If you are making comments like this on a public platform, I believe you truly need to sort out the foundation of your faith. Because I can promise you, the falling away from the faith by "supposed" Christians only just got started. So , I urge you to guard your salvation with fear and trembling. And look only to Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. Because pastors, prophets, evangelists, and other Christians aren't our standard, but Christ alone. God bless you. quote author=GoTV post=82952041] Even though I'm a born again Christian, events like this makes me ashamed to be associated with Christianity and sometimes I'm tempted to join Islam. It's great to know that there are prophets who wouldn't bow their knees to Baal. Albeit, determination alone isn't enough -- It has to be anchored on something -- Christ. Was this a recurring incident on the bridge? Was there a notice indicating the maximum threshold on the bridge? How do you design a bridge in a school where you know youths are bound to be curious, and not have room for excesses? This only goes to show our insensitivity for human lives. The VC's statement sounds more to me like "come on, it's just 3 lives that were lost" We need to start taking responsibility in this country, and know that there are consequent actions for every inaction. mequote author=Naijafull19 post=81050247] No, it was just that the high number of students on the bridge at that time created a heavy load which caused the bridge to collapse.
|
Nice one! But I'm forced to ask: What does the government use this money for? I don't think Nigerians will complain if they feel their money is put to good use. Is the money collected for tax channelled towards world class education, quality health care, affordable housing or efficient transportation system? Please if you have an answer to this, I'm eager to know. Looted funds recovered are in one imaginary account, and the monies gotten from taxes is used to fund the luxurious lives of those in power, and more ways to keep exploiting us are continually presented to us, and you are advocating that we buy it. Kindly don't compare us to a nation that have the goodwill of its citizenry at heart-- please! The one major difference between the living and the dead is the fact that while the living have a voice, the dead doesn't have that unique privilege. The impact of your voice when you're alive can transcend your death-- that's how powerful your voice is. Little wonder today, we still hear the voices of those who made impact in one sector or the other even when they are long gone-- if they didn't have a voice while alive, then there would be nothing to attribute to them. So if you are in the category of people who are scared of offering an opinion because you don't want to appear in the black book of people, then you seriously should have a rethink. Your voice is your power; the day you cease to have one, that's the day you stopped living. And who says your voice is limited to just speaking? Not necessarily. After all, you are reading this now, but I haven't said a word to you-- but hey, my voice is in this write up. If you can act to communicate a message, please do; if you can sing to correct an ill, then go right ahead; if yours is to paint to draw attention to an injustice, then let nothing stop you. What will you do with your voice today? I have decided on what I'll do with mine because that's one privilege life affords me. |
Story story...story!!! Who now made the chat public? The soldier's friend or the soldier? The tone of the chat sef for such a grievous matter as this is a complete giveaway that this is a story. But let me assume that this happened. I'd say the man is at fault. He married a woman and not a wife. The reason is simple: The woman said how does he expect a newly married woman to stay chaste for 8 months. Just 8 months, and you cheat on your husband? And she says it with no remorse; that tendency has always been there, it didn't just come on her over night. How come the guy didn't notice? He was probably looking at "wife-ing" a slay queen, and too busy to really check out virtues that will stand the storms or trials of marriage if it ensues. A wife can never make a statement like that. And hear me; women are everywhere, but wives are a very scarce commodity. Marriage is a long journey, and you just need to make certain that you are embarking on that journey with someone who truly understands the meaning of "marriage" IMO that was what the soldier guy missed, the lady he married was only showing her natural tendency. quote author=Gistvic post=80760330]@Gistvic.com A Nigerian soldier cries out after finding his wife pregnant for her Ex after leaving for 8 months to fight Boko Haram. This guy sounds truly intelligent. I'm not one given to reading stuff from Nigerian artists, but this guy is truly one very humble and diplomatic dude. If your comment states otherwise, that's because you probably just went with the title of the post without reading through. quote author=GistMore9 post=80635046]From winning the BET awards for Best International Act and featuring in Beyonce's Lion King Album, Burna Boy says Nigerians love him now because the rest of the world does. Talking about his album which will be released tomorrow and his music in an interview with Billboard, the Rivers State born singer said his plan is to take his music worldwide and also play in a stadium in China. But first, he’ll embark on a 17-date global tour of 1,000- to 3,000-capacity venues starting Aug. 9 in Toronto. “This has always been my vision,” he says. “Not like I planned it, just that I knew I should stick to doing what I’m doing. It’s almost like climbing steps -- you keep going up.” Also speaking on his local growth, Burna Boy stated that Nigerians only acknowledge him now because the rest of the world does. “Nigerians love me a lot more now because they can see that the whole world likes me, too. They think I’m something special, but I’m not. I’m just a human whose skill is making music. Way I see it, everyone plays their own role in the world, and no role is more important than the other.” On becoming one of the richest Nigerian artists, he said, “You are only as rich as where you come from, and Nigeria has a lot of poverty.” See more here; http://gistmore.com/nigerians-love-me-now-because-the-rest-of-the-world-does-burna-boy
|
I don't entirely agree. It seems to me that when a case is high profile, with the possibility of high media coverage, our celebrities suddenly have a voice, and turn into freedom fighters. Yet turn their eyes and form busy when the same cases happen in their villages or in rural areas every day. The Dakolo case they all lent their voices to isn't the first alleged rape case, but Kate and her colleagues made an already popular case more popular. I understand solidarity to a colleague, which is awesome. Albeit, if only they would lend their voices from time to time to the impoverished; those who truly don't have the means or wherewithal to fight for themselves, knowing how much impact their voices would make, then I would dolf my hat for them. I wish Kate Henshaw and her likes would agitate for justice over seemingly ordinary cases, cases that normally would not make the news, just as they rose up for Busola Dakolo. en a case is high profilethor=Omudia11 post=80588381]Kate Henshaw has her personal life to live and can't Wade in on every injustice in Nigeria. Hahahaha. Social media buzz has always been about controversies. I don't think he would make this headline if he had submitted to Otedola's line of thought. This was a comment made on social media by Otedola because he wanted engagements. So I believe Otedola appreciated Freeze's input, and didn't have issues with it, so why should any of us? Everyone is entitled to an opinion; no matter how rubbish it sounds; it doesn't mean they aren't thinking right. It's just people seeing things differently, which makes the world not boring. If this is all Freeze does, I don't think people will have issues with him. He constructively erred his opinion, and I think that's nice. If he uses the same approach in voicing his reservations against some of the ills carried out by church leadership, I don't think he'll have too many enemies. quote author=Cantonese post=80589347] Rubbish talk from a rubbish person. I am curious as to why 4-5 cultists from different cults will be after just your girl friend. Is she the only fine babe in the school? What exactly is she selling that they are so eager to buy? Don't flatter yourself that it's because she's miss universe. The fact that the girl in question doesn't seem perturbed that she is attracting bad guys is worrisome. Is it possible that there's more she's not telling or are you probably missing some obvious signs of who she really is because you are so in love? But wait ooo...shouldn't any cool headed, decent, God fearing girl see it as a cause for concern that cultists are after her? This one that she is enjoying the whole charade and encouraging you to be a man, and fight the cultists on her behalf is simply baffling. I went through school and there were some truly very pretty, drop dead gorgeous babes that cultists wouldn't dare go close to simply because they aren't their type. Cultists don't just go after any body; do your findings. For 4-5 cultists from separate cults to be chasing one babe, I feel strongly that you may not know this girl well enough. So again I ask: what is this girl selling that the cultists are fighting over themselves to buy? That's the question any cool headed young man whose destiny is important to him should be asking. I believe the old man should be given some slacks. There are several card carrying members of parties that aren't voting for their presidential flag bearer in the elections. It only goes to show that we haven't come to a place in NIgeria where we are party loyalists. The individual that would deliver should be who commands our vote. If anything, I believe that's what the baba has gone to prove. Democrats in America are a free will party. Hence they support gay marriage, abortions etc. That's their ideology and even the blind knows that. The same applies to the Republican party that have very traditional values. So mostly seen as a Christian party. My point? You know why you are a Democrat or a republican. And any candidate that emerges from any of these platform must uphold these ideologies. What is PDP's ideology that we all know? What's that of the APC? Yet, we are screaming I am APC or PDP. We haven't gotten to a place in this country to be loyal to a party o Jere. Vote an individual you believe can deliver change. Lastly, during the June 12 presidential campaign. Even though we had SDP and NRC, during the polls, can anyone remember what happened? Irrespective of party affiliations, people came out enmasse to vote MKO. So before you crucify this baba, know that he is just being loyal not to a party, but to the person he believes can command change. |
Interesting watch. Just wonder why Sowore seemed to be the one desperately seeking Bobrisky's attention; when it should be the other way round. Kinda disappointing. I believe we deserve a president with charisma and carriage; one who isn't interested in licking asses to make that happen. I wouldn't be voting for Buhari but notice how even his silence makes even his opposition want to bow. I guess one of the stuff he got from the military. And this has nothing to do with his being president. It shows his mindset. Atiku too does well in this regard. Fela Durotoye too dey try. How can this guy be begging to take a shot with Bobrisky for crying out loud. He doesn't even know who he is. #myopinion. 100% Atikulated. |
It's appalling how someone would commend a threat to life, when there are measures constitutionally to deal with issues like that. It's truly sad when Nigerians speak from their anuses. This isn't about Buhari or ipob, it is about the rule of law. No wonder our soldiers are always trigger happy to waste lives over trivialities. People like you are the reason Nigeria is in a mess. What has ipob got to do with a president threatening the lives of her citizens? Why am I not surprised? Every nation gets the leader they deserve. As long as our thinking is still this myopic, then there isn't any hope in sight for our election of credible leaders. BTW, I'm not Ipob, but a Nigerian advocating that youths receive anointed common sense. Let me ask: Do you seriously think that there's one politician that isn't corrupt? I believe you know the answer to that. quote author=sogodihno post=75868070]Yes o, Ipob pigs go and snatch it, chest beaters go on, u will be killed with gladness. God bless PMB. Eshinwaju:Whether he does or doesn't will be up to the February elections to decide. But let all and sundry canvassing for president Buhari remember when the next four years comes to a pojt where people begin to roast tebir children for meals, that you sold your children's future because of very selfish reasons. Ask yourself as you sleep tonight. What exactly has APC done to deserve a second term? And what are you anticipating for the next 4 years besides making assumptions? Even Buhari has no clue what the next 4 years will bring, and you dare leverage your children's future on a blurred vision. Please tell your children how you sold their future for something that isn't gold, because you chose not to see reason. Atiku isn't a saint, so is Buhari. But who truly has a promise to deliver? Then , I believe that person is Atiku, if for nothing, he can think for himself, and knows how to leverage information. Ask yourself candidly: Aren't you super scared of your president's performance in the debate tomorrow? That's if he shows up. You truly want to tell your kids that having a president that is vast isn't important? The last years of PDP administration may have been filled with corruption, but there's no denying the fact that businesses, events and activities still flourished. We now have a Nigeria where everything is at a stand still, and a few people claim to be fighting corruption. Yet we are borrowing $100m amidst all the talk of recovering loots. And a trader mini scheme that is entering into the pocket of the organizers. If that isn't the height if corruption tell me what is. Where is MTN project fame that raised stars? Maltina street dance that enriched families, the list goes on... I can't begin to imagine what the next four years will be, even with an administration that clearly has no clue as to how to bring us our of this mess. If they had something to prove in the last four years so as to win your reelecting them in, and they under performed is it when you give them another four years on a platter with nothing at stake that they will now perform? Show me one Nigerian politician that performed better during a second term, and I will show you a saint. Wake up, this is beyond you or me, its about proving to these guys that we have the power to hold them accountable with our votes when they don't perform optimally. Stop assuming Atiku will steal the nations treasury, does he seem to have what it takes to deliver? |
Eshinwaju:I think you are missing the point. This isn't about all the questions you are asking. Whether he entered via diplomatic immunity or through witchcraft isn't important. When Lauretta Onochie and APc cronies were saying if he entered the US he would be jailed, I guess they didn't figure that there was a supposed clause to his entry, right? Accept it or leave it, Atiku proved them wrong. How he entered is immaterial. |
HtwoOw:Don't you think you are missing the point? The argument was about if he could enter the US or not. Whether he was booked as an aide or not, is completely irrelevant. Did he or did he not enter the US, as opposed to popular opinion that if he dared he would be jailed? |
