RomanceRe: Compatibility ! Chemistry ! Does It Really Matter In A Relationship by JJYOU: 1:52pm On Jun 12, 2009
MRbrownJAY:
chemistry is about feeling that the person in Front of you is the right one for whatever reason.
example: you might say that you need a man who is faithfull. handsome, honest, trustworthy, wealthy etc
put 3men with all these qualities in front of you and see if you get the same attraction/chemistry for all of them.

chemistry is when your brain go on overdrive in the presence of a person, releasing dopamine/norepinephrine/adrenaline making your heart beat faster, making you go gaga, feeling like in a dream when with that person.
you dont have that with just anybody.

compatibility has nothing to do with "starting" a relationship but if you want it to [b]last then it is very important[/b]:
-if a person base their whole principles of marriage on "having your own children" and his spouse to be is infertile. maybe not.
-if a person enjoys dancing every weekend as a form of recreation while his partner has two left feet. maybe not.
- if a man is christian and expect his future wife to follow his faith while his wife is muslim expecting her future husband to follow her faith. maybe not.
- if a man is health/image conscious while his gf just dont give a damn about her appearance and just eat anything on display. maybe not.
so true

GETTING THERE

"Master, where dwellest Thou? . . Come and see." "Come with Me." John 1:39

"They abode with Him that day." That is about all some of us ever do, then we wake up to actualities, self-interest arises and the abiding is passed. There is no condition of life in which we cannot abide in Jesus.

"Thou art Simon, thou shalt be called Cephas." God writes the new name on those places only in our lives where He has erased the pride and self-sufficiency and self-interest. Some of us have the new name in spots only, like spiritual measles. In sections we look all right. When we have our best spiritual mood on, you would think we were very high-toned saints; but don't look at us when we are not in that mood. The disciple is one who has the new name written all over him; self-interest and pride and self-sufficiency have been completely erased.

Pride is the deification of self, and this to-day in some of us is not of the order of the Pharisee, but of the publican. To say "Oh, I'm no saint," is acceptable to human pride, but it is unconscious blasphemy against God. It literally means that you defy God to make you a saint, "I am much too weak and hopeless, I am outside the reach of the Atonement." Humility before men may be unconscious blasphemy before God. Why are you not a saint? It is either that you do not want to be a saint, or that you do not believe God can make you one. It would be all right, you say, if God saved you and took you straight to heaven. That is just what He will do! "We will come unto him, and make our abode with him." Make no conditions, let Jesus be everything, and He will take you home with Him not only for a day, but for

You could call islam woteva u want but the truth remains Islam has the highest rate of conversion in the western world and dont give me the shit that it is because muslims have more children and more wives I have said CONVERSION. No matter all the negativity thousands of people became muslims in UK and US after 9/11. Yvonne Ridley even accepted islam after being released fromTaliban jail. US soldiers have become muslims, journalists, intelligence officers and so on . This is all due to the sincere and unbiased study of Islam. If you think those out of contexr verses you quoted is all islam is about   " all I will say is the optimist sees the doughnaut while the pessimist sees the hole".

Call it demonic or woteva u want it doesnt remove a strand of hair from the near 1.5 billion muslims  worlwide, it doesnt stop the many that will still convert today, it doesnt stop us from spreading the message of islam and it will not stop us from defending our faith.

[li]Underground Church Growing in Muslim-Dominated Indonesia[/size][/li]
[li][/li]
[/list]
Monday, 08 June 2009 13:05 Julian Lukins News - Featured News

Pentecostals on the tsunami-ravaged coast of Indonesia are experiencing a wave of conversions and healings.

In the strongly Muslim Aceh province of northern Sumatra—where 167,000 people died in the 2004 tsunami—the underground church movement is growing, with Pentecostal congregations thriving.

Indonesia has an official policy of religious tolerance, but in Muslim-dominated areas Christians face open hostility and persecution. In Aceh province, churches must register with the authorities and are not permitted to evangelize. Many Christians choose to meet in unregistered—or underground—churches.

Sumatra is one of the least evangelized places on earth, according to Operation World. But since the tsunami—which wiped out 15 percent of the population of Aceh's provincial capital Banda Aceh—numerous underground churches have put down roots.

Pastor Nico (full name withheld for security reasons) started an underground Pentecostal church four years ago with only six members. Today 90 people from the neighborhood make up the Spirit-filled congregation. They endure persecution for their faith. One church family had rocks thrown through the windows of their home, and another family was forced to relocate because of threats.

"It's very difficult for the Muslims to accept us here," the 34-year-old pastor told Charisma. "If the authorities knew where we meet, they would close us down."
Despite the risks, the congregation is mission minded. "We'd like to go to the homes in this area, to the marketplace, to share about Jesus and start another church," Pastor Nico explained. "We love God, but we also have to love people—even those who don't love us."

One of the church members, Novi (full name withheld), grew up in a Buddhist home, burning offerings of money and incense at her family shrine. Two years ago, a traumatic experience set the 24-year-old Novi on a spiritual quest that led to healing and faith in Christ.

Whenever Novi was close to her husband, she felt a peculiar sensation, which she described as worms wriggling under her skin. "You could actually see something moving under the skin," recalled her husband Fumin.

Deeply distressed, the couple sought help from various sources, including witchdoctors, traditional healers and their Buddhist idols. But Novi's condition worsened, leaving her on the verge of a breakdown. "I thought: 'I'm going to go crazy and die,"' she recalled. "I couldn't sleep. ,  I felt an overwhelming sense of fear."

Novi became convinced the affliction was a spiritual attack. A relative suggested the couple cross the sea in order to "leave the evil behind." In desperation, they flew to another island, but the attacks intensified.

At her wit's end, Novi listened to her sister who had become a Christian. "My sister told me that I should go to the Highest Power for healing—that is, Jesus," Novi told Charisma. "I thought: If Jesus can heal me, I will follow Him forever."

As they prayed together in Jesus' name, Novi felt a "cleansing surge" through her body. A few days later, she felt another attack and cried out to Jesus. Since then, she has never suffered a recurrence. Now her husband is a leader in the church, and their testimony has drawn others to Christ, including his parents, brother and sister-in-law.

The new converts in Aceh's growing underground church include former Muslims like Ernawati (full name withheld). As a little girl growing up in a devoutly Muslim home, Ernawati visited the mosque with her parents and knelt to pray five times a day.

However, she often asked herself: Who is God? Does He really hear my prayers? Her curiosity grew when she saw the crucifixion scene on The Jesus Film, an evangelistic movie produced by Campus Crusade for Christ. "I wanted to know more about this Jesus," she said.

Shortly before Christmas 2004, 30-year-old Ernawati was at home when a man wearing a white robe appeared and said to her: "Do not be afraid."
"Naturally, I was very afraid," Ernawati recalled. "I didn't know who he was ,  and then he disappeared."

Just days later, the tsunami struck. Submerged by the wave, Ernawati cried out: "Jesus ,  save me!" Although she could not swim, she suddenly found herself above water and scrambled to safety.

Thousands drowned that day but she was one of the miraculous survivors. Ernawati gave her life to Jesus and joined the underground church. "Now I know the Truth, and the Truth has set me free," she testifies. -Julian Lukins in Sumatra, Indonesia

Ukpakareports.com, owned by Chidi Nwokoye, a former Obi ally recruited by UBA & Co after obi refused to play ball with him.
He now castigates all Obi's works and achievements. . . . . why haven't i seen this on saharareporters.com the chief online investigstors?

Anyone conversant with nigeriavillagesquare.com would know the antecedents of the owner of that website.
So all these stories are hogwash!!!!

What won't they do to discredit a noble man. . . . . . . who has achieved what he done in Anambra State.
All the PDP wants is to get into power, cause pandemonium and loot like never before. Our prayers did it before, it will still do it again.

I will soon post the discussion the Anambra PDP had with House members wanting to impeach Peter Obi again. You do be awe struck on what you will learn
These guys are too uncomfortable with Obi in power. Money isn't going around again. things are being done the right way, yet, they are not happy

Out of 10yrs of democracy, PDP had 6 and didn;t do anything. But this has achieved something they could't do in 3yrs in Power
Any Anambrarian here will attest to that. . . . .Andy Uba and Co will go at any lenght to remove Peter Obi and this scandal is just one of them.

Obi has also challenged the peddlers of the crime to come in and investigate. I bet you, if the police was involved, the PDP in ABuja would have threatened them to nail this given their unsatiable quest to recapture the state and discredit Obi. . . . . lets be wise.

I am just sad for Obi for giving room for all these to happen. I wish he had the kinda political backing Fashola has.

How can I have bad belle on somebody I don't know? I've done my own wedding 4yrs ago and am not doing bad financially. Whether he spends 20M for the wedding, is not my concern. The price is not my fuss, but the flaunting.

I like and respect big/rich guys a lot, as am getting bigger/richer myself. But to flaunt it, I despise it.

@Poster
Sorry if you think am attacking you nor antagnostic against you. Am neither.
hear yourself. which kind person you be? where did the guy flaunt it? why cant someone say he can afford £2.5m for a wedding? everyone here is not under 20 or 30 you must realize.

some people stopped living in room and parlour years ago and work hard for their mney so let them flaunt it if they want to if that upsets you tough luck.
the guy is not asking for no collection. wonder why someone cant talk becos some people feel poor. nawao. stop wasting your money on recharge cards and fast food maybe you can save enough too.
Ujujoan:
@ Cheemoney

Even if you have all the money in the world, 2.5M is still no joke. That’s why I think you are lying, about the wedding and about your Fiancée. If she really is that inconsiderate, why marry her. if you have the kind of money you claim to, why complain that she wants to help you spend it. Unless of course you are one of those money miss road stingy people, then I’d say she’s exactly what you deserve.
my sister some people get witch, ashewos and liars for house. not being carefull with money is low scale that can be sorted out easily. the guy only wants to know if he was right asking to know what she does with the money. that is no crime in my book.
FamilyRe: Your Wife Or Mother Who Would You Entrust With Your Money? by JJYOU: 12:27pm On Jun 12, 2009
Lagosboy:
I dey feel u jare . Many people dont like to face reality and base things on emotions. Yes marriage is to bring two people together and you can entrust some money with your wife no doubt but from the posters question it seems like the bulk of the money. As long as your wife has enough for her to live on and the kids will not suffer, the excess cash or investment you could entrust in your mum.

"till death do us part" thousands of people say this every day in religious marriages and civil as well but thousands of divorce proceedings are handled by courts at the same time. That is the reality of the world we live in. A wife could be changed a mother can never be replaced. A good mother will never betray the fruit of her womb, a good mother will always remain when everyone has left you in times of trials. This is the same woman tha laboured hard to bring you up to a stage that your wife could admire you and marry you. If your wife grew up she would expect the same from your son, Its a cycle no one loses out. The wife today is a mother tommorrow. When i look at how women suffer to cater for children , sleepless nights and crazy routines I myself will curse my son if he doesnt place his mother above everything in life including myself.

All said within the context of having a good mother which we all understand !!!
i know it can be confusing knowing who to trust between aishatu, abibatu, sikiratu and serifatu. cant you love one enough to give her the priviledge?

it is good to know you acknowledge some women suffer to raise kids.

Thank God for your life if you decide to leave the church for your personal beliefs. I want to respect your views and various articles that used to support your claims, but i want to believe its a personal decision (which i see no reason except to confuse people about the present day church and probably to convince people from attending churches and i am beginning to sense an anti-church and anti - Christ involvement here.)

The church you are leaving wont even feel you because i sense you are not deeply involved in any church activities (as you never told us if you are a worker in your church or not) and also i want to believe as you leave more than 100 will replace you.

In my own candid advise/opinion as you gave us the opportunity to express our mind towards your decision, i will advice that you run back and go and correct what you feel is wrong in your church rather than running away and then crucifying the church.

it took me ages to discover you were supposed to be a baptist. how on earth that sets you to be special i still cant work out maybe when i graduate in 2014 i will begin to get your point.  you were never part of the church of Jesus Christ.

PoliticsRe: Lagos Police Secretly Returns N250million Into Anambra Account Via Fidelity Bank by JJYOU: 3:09pm On Jun 11, 2009
moneygurl:
“We did not intersect any money. We don't give a damn what anybody have to say. People can go on to concoct their stories. I have been briefed. We have been told to say this. We have no such case in police. We are not investigating any case”, stated Frank Mba, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer to inquiries by agents of Ukpakareports.com regarding the N250million transported from Anambra government lounge in Awka to the business [private] residence of the Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi - which the Lagos Police intercepted on Sunday last week. Interestingly, Officer Frank Mba's response adds another contradictory fold to the unfolding 250million scandal – in that - the folks in Anambra Government House have publicly stated that they were intercepted by the Lagos Police.

Be that as it may, our investigators in Lagos have gone behind the veil of secrecy to gather more revealing details to the arrest and seizure of Peter Obi's boys and the N250million. As reported earlier, the arrest had occurred at 3:07pm [Nigerian time] in Lagos and saw the detention of two of Governor Peter Obi's special assistants in the persons of Valentine Obienyem and Benjamin Uba [Managing Director of Peter Obi's ANIDS transportation] along with two mobile police officers [MOPOL]. New information sourced from persons near the DPO in Lagos police Apapa, Officer Mohammed Ari, indicates that following the arrest of Governor Peter Obi's boys, the DPO was immediately alerted of the discovery. And as also reported earlier, Governor Peter Obi arrived roughly two hours after Officer Mohammed Ari was alerted. The DPO who was at the time cautious and unsure of what to make of the discovery, called for the police to physically count the money under the recording eyes of a camcorder. With this, the Lagos police went on to video tape the counting of the N250million. And according to the source, the counted money summed to N250miillion.

And at the completion of the count, the DPO and Governor Peter Obi stepped aside to have a brief discussion –of which only Gov. Obi and Officer Mohammed Ari were privy to the content of their private discussion which took place inside the office of Officer Mohammed Ari. Following the discussion which lasted for hours, Governor Obi was promised the release of his two aides, Benjamin Uba and Valentine Obienyem. And when contacted Officer Mohammed Ari, in confirming Governor Peter Obi's visit to the Lagos Police Station told Ukpakareports.com that, “the governor visited the Apapa police station shortly after the incident. But it was just a courtesy visit and nothing more”. The DPO denied having been settled by the Governor to bury the case. This is as our investigators learnt through one of the principal officers inside the Lagos police that the Police “closed” the investigation by returning the N250million to the Anambra State government. The money was returned via a bank deposit into a Fidelity Bank account belonging to the Anambra State government - and bank teller [receipt of deposit or deposit slip] of the deposit was kept in the custody of the Lagos Police.

Following the deposit by the Lagos State police, Governor Peter Obi's attempt at covering up what appears in the public domain as money laundering, shifted gears to Abuja and Anambra. Our investigators authoritatively learnt that Governor Peter Obi in the company of some of his aides visited the Inspector General of Police, Mike Okiro in the afternoon of Monday – the day after the arrest.

In Awka, on June 5, 2009, Gov. Peter Obi's operatives were at work trying to seal the leakages in the cover up. Two of Peter Obi's operative Ejike Onwusogbulu [the 'contractor' fall guy who was not present in Lagos at the time of the arrest] and Benjamin Uba [one of the arrested operatives] were sighted at Fidelity Bank located along Nnamdi Azikiwe Avenue near St. Paul's [Anglican] college, Awka on June 5th 2006. The duo had arrived at the Bank in an Anambra State Government House owned Green 406 Peugeot with license plate number ANGH 246. Ejike was dressed in a white caftan while Benjamin Uba was dressed in a white trouser and shirt. Both men upon entering the Bank, looking apprehensive, rushed upstairs out of sight of our investigators. Their visit to the Bank lasted 1hour 54minutes. Though, it is uncertain the details of the discussion between the duo and the Bank manager, informants within the Bank indicate that discussions regarding how to handle the N250million deposited into the account by the Lagos police - took place between the Bank manager and the two Peter Obi operatives.

To political opponents and former colleagues of Peter Obi, the veil of deception has failed him. In their take, the veil has lost its deceptive cover over what many informed observers believed to be an ongoing practice of money laundering by the Governor of Anambra State - particularly amidst the unraveling whirlwind of troubles now descending mercilessly on the Governor on Anambra State. In the words of one of Governor Peter Obi's principal supporters [a former lawmaker and a fellow confraternity member], in revealing the Peter Obi mode of operation stated, “the N250million leaves Anambra for Next International limited office at 7b Aerodrome road, Apapa, Lagos without failing every last Sunday of the month – where from Monday, Malams are called to either exchange it to dollars or pounds or are given addresses and account numbers of numerous small banks in London owned by Indians, Pakistanis and Lebanese where the monies are held without trace. Heard he wants to be the first Igbo man named in Forbes like Otedola and Dangote which will put him in good position when the Presidency rotates to the South. With our money! When the primary school system has collapsed, water borne diseases rampart and workers on strike?”

This notion is espoused in other quarters of Anambra particularly within the key players of the Obi's administration. In the words of one of the security officers stationed at the Anambra Government House who shared their insiders knowledge into what went wrong on that Sunday, stated, “Mr. Ndibe Obi who usually escorts the money was indisposed. Peter was therefore forced to use inexperienced Mr. Val Obienyem who was unfortunate to run the errand when the hungry and deprived security escorts - whom Peter overworks – and is too mean to give enough to shut up – have had enough and decided to sing.” The government house security officer continued to reveal that Governor Peter Obi pays each of the MOPOL officers a minimum of about N2,000 for each of the normal movement of money and a maximum of N10,000 for the occasional heavy movement of Anambra money. The officer went on to confirm to Ukpakareports.com that it was indeed one of the MOPOL officers who blow the whistle on Peter Obi.

The Governor's latest woes are coming on the heels of other related and/or tangential problems of governance.[b] As Ukpakareports.com reported earlier, the Local Government Area [LGA] funds had during the Peter Obi's 3.5years at the realm of affairs lost N68bilion to withdrawals for payment of questionable contracts and/or items. One of such questionable withdrawals came November 2008 in the amount of N442.5million that was distributed to the 177 town in Anambra State against the Christmas season. Each town was given N2.5million – with N1million of it going to the Traditional Ruler of each town while N1.5million went to the President of each Town Union. What is not clear is why the N442.5million came out of the LGA account. It is against this background that the image maker of the Anambra State House of Assembly in the person of Hon. Egwuatu indicated to one of our reporters that the Anambra lawmakers recently passed a law setting up a joint committee to oversee the usage of the LGA account. He noted this while adding that the 1999 constitution provides for a joint account to be set up for State and local government funds. However, it is unclear why the Anambra lawmakers decided to passed it into law now.
[/b]
Allegations of financial crimes and relatedallegations of foul play are abound in the Anambra State political ruling class of the many questionable transactions by the Obi administration. One of such allegations which Ukpakareports.com investigators have verified and confirmed as valid is Peter Obi's use of funds received from the Federal Government for use for environmental matters. This fund which is different from the Erosion Fund and LGA Funds is siphoned under the banner of “Common Services”. N700million out of the N1billion grant from the Federal Government in 2005 by the Obasanjo administration for use in palliative work to be carried out at Umuchiana Gully Erosion site in Ekwulobia was siphoned away and remains unaccounted for till today. Umuchiana site contract documents show that only N300million was released to the contractor for the project. Reacting, one of Peter Obi's Pirates Confraternity members and an ardent supporter added in his own words “What are these common services? Where are they rendered in your own LGA?”

[b]Adding gravitas to the money laundering stench is the impeachment overtones gradually sipping into the consciousness of the Anambra polity long after it had been forgotten. The State House of Assembly, the day after the N250million was intercepted, set up an adhoc committee to investigate the source and destination of the said money. And before the adhoc committee could get to work, rumors of bribery by the Obi administration through one of his man-Friday commissioners in the person Hon. Dubem Obaze, began to spread. While Ukpakareports.com cannot confirm whether it was Dubem Obaze that attempted to deliver the bribe, it is however certain that Governor Peter Obi, through emissaries, approached the State Assembly with N50million bribe to incapacitate them from commencing his impeachment. And as gathered, the lawmakers rejected the cash saying it is small.

Meanwhile the Peter Obi boys have stepped up their media relations campaign to a new pitch. This is amidst the epileptic contradictory outbursts by Peter Obi media assistants that continue to sink Governor Peter Obi into a hole. Valentine Obienyem, the special assistant on media matters, on the morning after his release, frantically released a statement to the media indicating that the money found in their possession belonged to a contractor who had requested for the N250million to be paid in cash. Hours after the Valentine's statement hit the newsstands; Valentine released another statement contradictory to the first. This time Val said that the money was not paid in cash that the money was paid in check to the contractor who then cashed the check and hitchhiked with the Anambra government convoy headed to Lagos. To this end, Peter Obi dished out N20million to the editors guild to avert the inevitable explosion from the ill advised cocktail of fabrications to cover a pending inquiry into Peter Obi's money laundering scandal.[/b]

Nonetheless, the inner circle of the Peter Obi administration is said to be highly upset with Valentine Obienyem and are currently considering reprimanding him, this is according to sources close to Hon. Emeka Ojukwu Jr.

13months ago, i left the shores on my sweet home country Nigeria to study, try some new adventures and get my health back on track(kidney stones), to be frank, i was really confused about where to go to, i had 3 options,( uk, Spain and Poland), thank God for the information i got from this site about the 3countries mentioned.I decided to settle for my last option(Poland),

So many people i contacted after getting to Poland kept asking me same question, WHY POLAND?(waitin u dey do for country wen dem nor dey speak english?)!, But i thank God for my life today cos after 1year and a month,i think i am amongst the happiest Nigerian in Warsaw poland, i have been able to kill 3birds with one stone,

1) i underwent 4 successful kidney stones surgery in 3months( without spending a dime owing to the fact that i had a health insurance of 37zloty abt 1500naira a month) ,

2) My education is well in progress(1st yr completed),with an opportunity to tk a transfer, to Canada/Australia, getting the visa here is so so easy, Polish citizens are visa free to Canada. i have been to the Canadian embassy in warsaw twice, and it was virtually empty, only aplicants from china could be visibly seen

3) I not only got a us visa, but i will be working in the us for this summer,

The interview i did at the us embassy in warsaw didnot tk up to 8mins,it was so so easy, even easier than the interview i did at the polish embassy at Abuja, all he ask was my student id card,my index( to know if really i was attending classes) and how is Lagos?

Nairalanders, for those who hv the money for studies, and can endure ,owing to the fact that Uk keeps disappointing u as
regards visa palava, please i"ll advise u not to kill urselves, IT MUST NOT BE UK? try a shengen country, ( uk is now congested) jobs are hard to find,

With ma karta Pobyto( temporal resident card),i have access to 22 countries in europe.without aplying for a visa,

my friend who got the us visa thesame week i got mine was bold enough to apply for a uk tourist visa ,and he got it , i intend to aply for cyprus visa nxt week,
tks we are all on our way

Christianity EtcRe: Why Do Many Nigerians ´´Born Again´´ Get Backslided When They Travel Abroad by JJYOU: 1:29pm On Jun 11, 2009
i read somewhere here yesterday there are no good churches in naija so how come you have born again in naija church?

thankfully God users and religous folks are not every where but there are more Godly and God fearing people here in england of course they dont go to church 3 times a week like naija

what about people who became christians in the west? nigeria dont have a monopoly on Christianity. if you can stand your ground it is actually easier being christian here than naija

Congrats to Yaa all about to wedd
Well, don't know what it is yet to plan  or cost for a wedding, hope to be experiencing that soon

There is noting absolute wrong in knowing how the money is been spent

Most of us women are not money managers, i guess ur ability to checkmate her will help cut down her excesses

The day she starts working for her own money is the she will understand how difficult or easy it is to earn one.

Once again congrats, August a bit far  though but don't forget to post our cake here. grin
nice one but when you get the odd money expert you have a gem.

Thanks all for ur input so for. We had a serious arguement last night & it led to her crying & that alone got me angrier. I didn't think there was any cause for her crying. She was insinuating my present actions means I'd be dictating for her what & what not to buy in the kitchen. Is that a sound judgment? Does that make me a dictator? I'm so relieved to hear from you guys that I'm on the right track. Yes every woman has a dream of a fairy tale wedding but realities has shown that most often than not, it has remained elusive for the majority due to the realities on ground. Money does not grow on trees like someone rightly said & I'd press further to know what our money is being used for, how much was spent & what balance do we have so we can channel the balance to other needs still aimed towards a successful wedding. Can you imagine her saying that her friends & cousin claimed this planning period is a time for her to make some savings which obviously will be at my expense. How am I supposed to react to this please my people. I need to know o. I want to be a great husband to my wife but I also know that money doesn't grow on trees.
bros thanks for wanting to be a great husband.  please you will get there quicker if you avoid arguments with her.  as for you being a dictator please forget that.  you are only trying to be responsible which hasnt become crime in nigeria.  there is always a life to lead after the wedding so dont get yourself into unnecesary fiinancial stress earlier on in the marriage.  wedding is only one day that is what most nigerians forget.  it is buy this and buy that or that is what is in vogue or the latest nonsence.  who says others should set your trend.

financial stress is the number reason for most marriage failures so dont go that route and dont let no one tell what you have is not enough.  how do they know what you earn? N2.5m is almost £10k.

please remember this lady in your prayers. i dont know what to say things like this breaks my heart. may God intervene and heal this womans heart.
Please pray that my husband of 5 years softens the anger and hate he seems to have for me in his heart and that he can give me another chance. I met him 6 years ago when I travelled to my home country in Africa on holiday. He said he loved me and wanted to be with me forever. My family helped to bring him over to London and we assisted him in everyway we could through a masters degree at University. My son was 2 years old when my husband started cheating on me with many different girls. He had a double life and till today I know none of his friends. he left me once for a year and came back again but was persistent he came back only for our son. We have bought a house together and he is living there now without us and says he doesnt love me and wants nothing to do with me. Please pray for me that he does not rest until he cmes back to his family. I love him so much I do not know how to move forward. I am very soft hearted but he is very unemotional and has no care for me but god knows I love him and I want so much to work on our marriage. I have never been unfaithful and believe so much in marriage. Please help me, I am so depressed. Please help me

I have been through this before so I know how it feels. I lost my mum when I was 12 still in primary school that was 1992 but now am 29. My dad tried to re-marry along the line but it's didn't work as all d women where self centered until 1999 when he finally did with intense prayer. My step mum is the best woman ave met in life before. All my relatives envy her. God fearing, nice and a mother indeed. I luv her with the whole of my heart more than my dad. My close friends dnt know she isnt my mum cos of the way she treats us. Now that am working, I remember her 1st before my dad and sometimes my dad get jealous about that. My siblings and I dnt joke with her welfare cos she's a mother indeed. My mother cant do better even if she was alive. All am saying is u can get married again but pray that u marry d right woman dat wont make life HELL for your God given kids. Cos of the way my step mum treated me, far be it from me dat I maltreat sme1 else kids. God bless her for me.
thank God for a blessed woman and hope she has kids of hers too. so good to read this

I don’t believe a relationship will go that far and there wouldn’t be any quarrel, is too good to be true, boy, you need to watch your back, I think she is pretending and such girl cant correct you even when you are going astray. I can’t advice my brother to go for such girl
She is only trying to get you hooked, probably after marriage you go hear wehhhn. grin
you may be sincerely wrong. some people dont do drama and fight over irrelevant things.

i know it is hard to accept people like that but i find they are life's greatest people. we have stayed too much with argumentative people we are almost beginning to believe quiet people are threasherous people.
may God help us
