Character is like a smoke, it can never be covered, it will certainly find a way out. And this woman/Poster here is suppose to be educated. There are two types of education, the one we received at home from our parents and the one we received at school. Only few women have boths. Illiterate or not, educated or not, what matter the most is to be GOD FEARING. Beware there are lots like her out there parambulating without no destination, jumping from door to door looking for another scape goat to ruin his life and using the most precious gift that God has given them in exchange for a chicken change that will never be enough to protect the future consequences while simultaneously breaking many homes. Brothers, always look before you leap, least you regret. The mistake of a bad slave make one to curse all slaves but not all are the same. Behind every successful man , there is a woman and i say_____ behind most ruined men and marriages there is also a ____________ ? U all know what i mean. Nothing make a woman feel better than a woman, but we need to be careful, observant and patcient while dealing with them. A word is enough for a wise. Family › Re: Should He Take His Wife Back? by JJYOU: 5:07pm On Jun 05, 2009 |
feelgood: My relation, an only child, got married last year in Kaduna. 6 months after, following a quarrel with her husband, she left to stay with her parents without informing my relation. Efforts to get her back to her husband were unsuccessful as her mummy insisted the daughter would remain till she is delivered of the pregnancy she was carrying at the time. Unfortunately, she lost the pregnancy and my relation refused to settle the medical bills for the reason that she left her matrimonial home without his permission. The wife and her mum stuck to their guns that the good lady would remain in Kaduna.
Meanwhile, my relation's mother (and only surviving parent) was afflicted with stroke - which left her bedridden - which made him focus his efforts in trying to revive his mother. The wife, meanwhile knew about this but didn't come down to assist. Finding it awkward to handle his mother, a former girlfriend came to the 'rescue'. Recently, the mother died - and that is when the wife decided to come down from Kaduna, especially when she heard that his ex girl had been with her husband. My relation is angry and doesn't want anything to do with her, in fact he has gone ahead to pay dowry on the former girl because 'she was available when help was needed badly'. Now the wife has been pestering me to intervene - prior to this, she never called me - because she realised how very close the husband is with me.
I have discussed with my relation and he insists he cannot take her back for not coming down when his mother was ill - he believed she would abandon him shd he fall into difficult times. The wife is seriously pleading that I should help her reconcile them both. She recognises her mistake but my brother would none of it. As a christian, I don't accept 2nd wife and I told my brother so. He replied that he was not bound by such beliefs, moreso as he was only married traditionally.
I'm hoping to meet with him at the burial when I hope we can settle things well. Meanwhile he has informed the '1st wife' to stay off the burial ceremonies and insists it is over.
People, what do you advise? Any hope to reconcile or I shouldn't waste my time? if this was you what would you do? |

porka: i don't know what this thread is aimed at. i have followed it with keen interest and there are few questions i need to ask.
1) if gays or homosexuals are claiming to have gay genes would they have been born in the first place? genes are support to be passed from parent to offspring. it reminds me of two eunuchs in my community, they were (both are dead now) from the same parent. some of the village folks said they inherited it from their parents. pray, how could a parent have seered eunuchs if he were a eunuch himself.
2) are pedophiles and people who practice incest and those who have sex with dogs and horses born with that "condition"? i mean, i know a guy who said he first had sex with him mother and he in turn had sex with his own daughter. he seems to have that gene passed down from generations according to him. 3) what is the actual population of homosexuals? i don't think they are more than a handful in any society, europe or no europe.
4) and since the poster comes from a christian perspective, what is the position of the bible in this. from 1 cor 6:9-10 can we say thieves were born thieves? are drunkards born drunkards? should we say fornicators are born to fornicate?
these are just a few questions that we need to find answers to. the homosexual lobby is a tiny but very aggressive and vocal minority. they use the media to make it seems like the whole world isat it. it is a big lie and con on the weak and gulible. JeSoul: lol make sure you don't have any weapons nearby at all times . . . You're right its easy to tell someone else what to do when you yourself haven't gone thru it. However my brother easy or not easy for me to say, it is still the right thing for them to do - biblically. I don't think we should ever be in the business of assigning blame but moreso about addressing and fixing the problem. Whether or not its their fault, it doesn't change the fact they are partakers of a gross deviation from the natural. lol see as Chris flipped the question on me Insert a big, emphatic NO! I have been hit on by other women and honestly it is just flat out disgusting and unsettling. Temptation usually comes to me disguised as a handsome son of adam to that I'll plead guilty all day. being tempted is not sin it is yielding that is sin. we all get tempted on a daily basis JeSoul: Well there is no conclusive, solid proof or evidence of homosexuality being linked to ones genes so for now their claims will remain just claims. That's the problem & the question. Spiritually speaking, they are also born with a sinful nature like the rest of us . . . but yet only some become those things. Is it the same for homosexuals? Can we blame it on the sinful nature? I don't know the exact figures but it varies from place to place. SanFran is way likely to have a higher population of homosexuals than say Alabama Thanks for including scripture here. The fact that the bible lumps homosexuality with the other sins should tell us something right? If its a sin like the others then its also product of the sinful nature, right? albeit a very nasty product.
People are arguing saying homosexuality is learned from societal influences but I'm wondering if its not just another side effect from having the sinful nature? along with stealing, fornicating etc - that's the point of the thread my dear. it is mainly sinful nature not societal. back in the early 70's in a boarding school in good ole naija there were boys and girls having this lifestyle. sadly one of the ladies is full fledged lesbian in london today. someone told me one other guy is too in northern naija. i cannot see anything in the village that pushed them towards towards that lifestyle not the water nor the people. within the last week i think i have seeen 2 guys here saying theor wives have beeen discovered to be lesbos so it looks it is open season in naija. someone i know had to divorce the wife some yrs back because she wount leave women alone. the betrayal still eats him away today almost 8yrs plus. why cant they just stay un married rather than get kids and others involved. |

akeju1: Do you think making more money means having more wealth? Many people do because it seems logical that high income would translate to high wealth.
This is not true!
Do you know people who make a lot of money from their business or their job but never seem to have any money? Or maybe they have money, a luxurious house and fancy toys, like expensive cars and boats, but they still have to go to work every day to make ends meet?
While these people have high income, they have very low wealth. When speaking with prospective clients or people at a seminar, I keep running into this situation and I always come to the same conclusion:
Making a lot of money has nothing to do with wealth.
Just this week, I was talking to a new client who runs a very successful business. He makes hundreds of thousands of dollars each year, but has more liabilities than he has assets. The reason seems to be that while he has made incredible efforts to make his business successful, he has never devoted the time or energy to learn how to make his investing successful.
This is not a criticism of this client. It is usually what we are taught.
We are often taught to work hard at our job or our business and to turn our finances over to a financial advisor who may or may not know what he or she is doing.
In addition, this client was given some poor advice regarding his taxes, so now he has to work even harder to pay back taxes that proper tax planning may have prevented.
Like our finances, we are often taught that taxes are too difficult so we need to "hand them over" to a tax advisor who may or may not know what he or she is doing.
In reality, you cannot "hand over" your taxes to a tax advisor. You have to learn enough of the rules to know when to go to your tax advisor for advice.
- Increasing Knowledge = Increasing Wealth -
The answer, no matter what your level of income or wealth, is the same. It takes knowledge to be financially (and tax) free. If you ask a highly successful millionaire or billionaire, they will tell you one of their essential secrets is possessing a diverse, cross section of knowledge in ALL areas of business. And they never stop learning! the trouble we have with our educational system is the continous teaching of history. geography, how to cram + pass exams and grammar without teaching people how to survive the real wprld and be wealth creator. one of the pathetic sight in nigeria is seeing people with great brains and education very poor. |

Going down memory lane, I can recall that at the early stage of our marriage she had confided in me that some of her very close friends in Port Harcourt practised lesbianism while they were still young. Some of them are married now and still reside in Port Harcourt. At a point I concluded that she had taken part in it, but since was a born-again and a prayerful person at that, I felt she had stopped it. Things started changing when this kalabari woman came on the scene. She started visiting our home and my wife too started sharing time with her. A lot of time I would return from work only to be told by the kids and the househelp that my wife is in the other woman’s apartment. I complained to her severally but she always took offence. nigerians and religion. sorry in my opinion most nigerians are god users. sad to say the more religious some of our people are the more devious they are. |

Don’t get me wrong @JJYou ! I am not against people setting up enterprises in Nigeria. But it seems most who do, do so in order to make money and not necessarily to inject something that would potentially better their community. I am not in any way calling for folks to dig pumps and all that (personally, I think we do not need more boreholes in that country). To better explain what I mean here, let me use an example here.
I am all for Mr X moving to Nigeria to set up a business. Looking around Mr X can see that the country is already filled with low quality goods and services, and not a lot of affordable high quality opportunities for people out there. He could decide that his business would be to go out to China to get only high quality products and sell them at fair prices and maybe offer his customers’ free service for one year should be product breakdown within that period.
This is not even close to what we have happening with the many so called Nigerian business men I see and know of to date.
I heard the other day that McDonalds makes about 3cents for a mcMac burger sold and that made me sort of understand why the company seems to sell for so little yet make billions at the end of the day. You can still make a lot of money, if you do business fairly or at least close. Not going down to get an 87million contract, using low quality equipment and tools and then at the end of the day pocketing so much and then going around trying to make yourself believe you are better because you have more money in your pocket than most. i get you but dont you think we are just replacing the oyinbo man with the chineese? the more we go to china the more we cvcle the dependency culture. when are we going to start doing our thing? they are now even fishing and farming for us sad. |

Why Soludo was dropped –Northern Group From MURPHY GANAGANA, Abuja Friday, June 5, 2009 Soludo •Photo: Sun News Publishing * More Stories on This Section The Northern Patriotic Front (NPF) yesterday disclosed the underlying factor which militated against the re-appointment of the immediate past Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo for a second term, despite his widely applauded reforms in the banking sector. NPF National Chairman, Alhaji Ali Abacha, told Daily Sun in an exclusive interview in Abuja, that pressure was indeed, mounted on President Umaru Yar’Adua by formidable northern groups and power brokers in ensuring that Soludo was not given a second term of office. Their grievance was based on the belief by a cross section of northerners that most of his financial policies, especially relating to foreign exchange, were not favourable to the north.According to Abacha, “ Soludo introduced some policies that were too harsh for the North. So, when his tenure expired, we said there was no need for extension, that they should get somebody from the North who is competent. And because most of our people are not educated as they are basically farmers, we wanted somebody who would give priority attention to agriculture.”While admitting that the erstwhile CBN boss exhibited competence in the discharge of his duties, the NPF however, insisted that most of his policies further pauperized the northern masses. Said Abacha: “If you take the foreign exchange which has a large number of northerners involved in the business, he introduced a lot of stringent conditions and most of our people in the trade are not educated. They faced a tough times during his five year tenure. The policies are only good for advanced countries, not in Nigeria where education is still low and poverty still high, especially in the North”. Reacting to allegations that President Yar’Adua play the ethnic card particularly with the appointment of core members of his economic team the Minister of Finance, Presidential Economic Adviser, Minister for National Planning, and the Governor of CBN, among others, the NPF said the appointments were made by President Yar’Adua in his quest for credible people to move the nation forward, adding that “there is nothing wrong in Yar’Adua appointing northerners in key positions”. The NPF chairman spoke further on various appointments made so far by President Yar’Adua, against the backdrop of the group’s position at a recent meeting in Abuja . His words: “The Northern Patriotic Front rose from its last weekly meeting in Abuja where it X-rayed the actions of the President on various appointments made within the period as well as other national issues. The NPF commends the President for the confirmation of the appointment of Dr. Bernard Shaw Nwadialo as the Comptroller General of Customs. The meeting commended the President for his decisions and debunked the insinuation by some unpatriotic persons accusing him of being sectional in his appointments. The NPF urges the President to continue in his efforts towards taking Nigeria to greater height, and hopes that by the appointment, the Comptroller General of Customs will use the opportunity to turn around the Nigeria Customs Service for the attainment of Vision 20-2020” Abacha, who however, conceded that President Yar’Adua’s seven-point agenda is too bogus for effective implementation urged him to reduce his programmes to a manageable level. “If he had concentrated only on agriculture and power, we would have achieved a lot in the past two years of his administration,” he noted. moneygurl: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islamic_banking

Born Gay my ass,
1. If i say I like money, does that mean i should go about stealing it. 2. If i say i like sex, does that mean i should go about sleeping with anything moving with skirt.
3. Yes sin has caused humans to experience genetic degeneration since the time of Adam, however that still does not determine our choice at the end of the day. The truth is that being gay has become a fashion and societal statement in western countries mostly amongst caucasians (its still a taboo amongst black americans). As such even those that choose to be gay would always look up a stupid reason for their condition.
4. If they claim to be born gay as they want us to believe, how come some of them married a woman, experience penial erection, ejaculate into the woman and enjoy sex with her. Or are they trying to tell me that since they were born gay, they still do not have control over their penial erection and ejaculation in the presence of a nake woman. Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
All this gay business is just pure bullshit and symptoms of serious spiritual problems, in our society.
I believe there is an over-indulgence within the European culture (we have to remember that most of europe as we know it is a mixture of Ancient Barbarians that fought against the Romans and the enlightened cultures of Europe during those times) Hence i am not suprised that a lot of human degeneracy and madness and racism seems to be traceable to them all. you hit the nail there. most people dont know the big businesses pushing the "pink pound and dollars" down our throats. the gay lobby is one of the sleekest lobby you will ever see. it is so well oiled and funded you dare not criticise them or your career is over. abasifo: Little Known Truths About Prostitutes
You are about to read what God's word has to say about the prostitute. Among other things, you may be surprised who she actually is and what her victims are like. You will also learn the Biblical definition of a prostitute, which is certainly different from what most think:
For these commands are a lamp, this teaching is a light, and the corrections of discipline are the way to life, keeping you from the immoral woman, from the smooth tongue of the wayward wife. Do not lust in your heart after her beauty or let her captivate you with her eyes, for the prostitute reduces you to a loaf of bread, and the adulteress preys upon your very life. Can a man scoop fire into his lap without his clothes being burned? Can a man walk on hot coals without his feet being scorched? So is he who sleeps with another man's wife; no one who touches her will go unpunished. Men do not despise a thief if he steals to satisfy his hunger when he is starving. Yet if he is caught, he must pay sevenfold, though it costs him all the wealth of his house. But a man who commits adultery lacks judgment; whoever does so destroys himself. Blows and disgrace are his lot, and his shame will never be wiped away; for jealousy arouses a husband's fury, and he will show no mercy when he takes revenge. He will not accept any compensation; he will refuse the bribe, however great it is. My son, keep my words and store up my commands within you. Keep my commands and you will live; guard my teachings as the apple of your eye. Bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart. Say to wisdom, "You are my sister," and call understanding your kinsman; they will keep you from the adulteress, from the wayward wife with her seductive words. At the window of my house I looked out through the lattice. I saw among the simple, I noticed among the young men, a youth who lacked judgment. He was going down the street near her corner, walking along in the direction of her house at twilight, as the day was fading, as the dark of night set in. Then out came a woman to meet him, dressed like a prostitute and with crafty intent. (She is loud and defiant, her feet never stay at home; now in the street, now in the squares, at every corner she lurks.) She took hold of him and kissed him and with a brazen face she said: "I have fellowship offerings at home; today I fulfilled my vows. So I came out to meet you; I looked for you and have found you! I have covered my bed with colored linens from Egypt. I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes and cinnamon. Come, let's drink deep of love till morning; let's enjoy ourselves with love! My husband is not at home; he has gone on a long journey. He took his purse filled with money and will not be home till full moon." With persuasive words she led him astray; she seduced him with her smooth talk. All at once he followed her like an ox going to the slaughter, like a deer stepping into a noose till an arrow pierces his liver, like a bird darting into a snare, little knowing it will cost him his life. Now then, my sons, listen to me; pay attention to what I say. Do not let your heart turn to her ways or stray into her paths. Many are the victims she has brought down; her slain are a mighty throng. Her house is a highway to the grave, leading down to the chambers of death (Prov. 6:23-7:27).

We just learned the following: * she primarily goes hunting at night time. * she dresses a certain way (to excite the flesh). * she has a crafty, evil intent. * she is loud. * she is defiant. * she can be beautiful. * she doesn't stay at home. * she hangs out in the squares and street corners where there are lots of people. * she aggressively approaches her potential victim. * she has a brazen look. * she is religious. * she tells her potential victims that they are the ones she has been looking for. * she is married, but states that her husband is gone for a long time. * she is persuasive and smooth with her seductive words. * this kind of prostitute does not ask for money.
The victim of a prostitute: * lacks judgment. * is likened unto an ox going to the slaughter as he follows her into sin. * is likened unto a deer stepping into a noose till an arrow pierces his liver (and dies). * is likened unto a bird darting into a snare. * is unaware that sexual sin (adultery) will cost him his life.
Infidelity
Such a wayward, adulterous wife (prostitute) has brought down many victims. Her slain are a mighty throng. "Her house is the way to hell " is the rendering of verse 27 in several translations (KJV, MKJV, NKJV, God'sWord). Many other Scriptures show any kind of sexual sin will send one to the lake of fire (Rev. 21:8; 1 Cor. 6:9,10; Eph. 5:5-7; Mt. 5:28,29; Gal. 5:19-21; Jude 7; etc.).
The prodigal, in Jesus' teaching in Luke 15, sinned with prostitutes but came back to spiritual life, just like all others who are willing to sincerely and humbly repent and return to God to serve him. Godly Wisdom
Besides all of that, Godly wisdom has multiple sin-preventative benefits, including becoming the victim of a prostitute. Also, let's not forget that the fear of the LORD is the beginning of [Godly] wisdom (Psa. 111:10; Prov. 9:10). Many in our day lack this vital fear and therefore don't have Godly wisdom and its benefits:
Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men, from men whose words are perverse, who leave the straight paths to walk in dark ways, who delight in doing wrong and rejoice in the perverseness of evil, whose paths are crooked and who are devious in their ways. It will save you also from the adulteress, from the wayward wife with her seductive words, who has left the partner of her youth and ignored the covenant she made before God. For her house leads down to death and her paths to the spirits of the dead. None who go to her return or attain the paths of life (Prov. 2:12-19).
According to that passage, the adulteress (or prostitute) is a divorcee—one who left the partner of her youth and ignored the covenant she made before God. Such a person will take you to hell with her (unless you turn away from such wickedness and get Biblically forgiven). An Adulteress = A Prostitute
According to what you have read in these Scriptures, any adulteress is a prostitute, even if she doesn't want money! What a surprise that must be to many who have committed adultery, but would never think of themselves as a prostitute. Nonetheless, this is how God sees them. This truth should help all in this vile sin to recognize how heinous it is and to repent before it is too late and they get thrown into the lake of fire.
We know from other Scriptures that Rahab was a prostitute that got saved (James 2:25). Furthermore, salvation for male prostitutes is shown in the New Testament:
Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexuals nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God (1 Cor. 6:9-11).
Hence, if you have been or still are a prostitute or the victim of a prostitute—repent while you still can. God has forgiven those who repent and will do the same for you. Bathsheba
Since an adulteress is a prostitute and Bathsheba was an adulteress, then Bathsheba was a prostitute, according to the Bible. Bathesheba was also religious and beautiful yet took a bath where others could view her naked body. Such wickedness led to David sinning with her.
Finally, the Bible also likens a prostitute to a bandit among other things:
For a prostitute is a deep pit and a wayward wife is a narrow well. Like a bandit she lies in wait, and multiplies the unfaithful among men (Prov. 23:27, 28). you have answered some questions i have always asked when in nigeria. |

Absolutely precise, well done! You certainly might have had things missing somewhere and tried to compensate for the lack by trying to deflect this discussion with Sen. Grassley - which was why I asked how he's got to do with tithing. You should have done a bit of research yourself before interjecting Sen. Grassley as a compensation into your mass choir, no?
I wonder why it took you this long to find your roots. Now you've breathed easy, do enjoy your adventures. Tara. you dont do hostages my sister. i wont like to hold the stingy brigade a hostage myself. God bless. |

I like your enthusiasm but most Nigerian banks are unlike HSBC and Barclays that fund you from idea to reality and success. would it be fair to say also the main reason nigerian banks wont support these ventures od that we are not too good at repaying loans and majority of first business starters fail |

audio: If you're homophobic, that's fine. You can make excuses from today till tomorrow, but that's what you are. Beastiality is a sexual fetish. It has nothing, absolutely nothing to do with your genes. Please prove me wrong by searching the vast internet and pasting just one article in this post that suggests beastiality has ties with genetic make up.
Pedophilia (which by the way, is not the topic of discussion, but i'll allow it) also has genetic ties. It is wrong because it preys on young children. That's why its a criminal offence. I hope that answers your rather obvious question.
Like i said, just thank God that your genetic make up is hetrosexual. Christianity is about love. Please practise what you preach can we begin to accept thieves and liars cos they can argue they were born that way plus they are many enough to matter in any democracy. honeric01: I am waiting for someone to justify beastiality just like homosexuality is being justified one. One sin leads to another. Every sin is sin, It all started from disobedience from Adam and Eve, then followed murder from Cain, now we have thousands of sins all over the world, There is nothing new under the sun, it's just unfortunate that it's being unravelled in our time, Watch out, more is on the rise and as long as earth exist, men would be lovers of themselves and iniquities will abound. the word indulgence comes to mind. homosexuality is the choice sin of a single vocal minority. |
