That is not true! All gas meant for cooking smells. It is not a Nigerian specification, it is a world wide standard. I have never come across gas that do not smell. If you have, let us know
I have. I remarked on it to the attendant.

This, he said with passion, is not only a big treat to the geometric growth recorded in the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) also known as cooking gas sector in the past 10 years, it had also fuelled the availability of sub-standard cylinders in circulation across the country along with gas that no longer smells to warn of leakages.

That is what worries me. How come gas that does not smell is being sold in Nigeria and the government allows it?

Facts: Statements proven to be TRUE
That is ONE definition of facts. You need to stop drawing your conclusions based on one dictionary definition. Words in English are dynamic.

Yohh:
U are wrong, facts are verified assertions, they are always true.
No. In some contexts, facts can mean things accepted to have happened. Facts are assertions that things happened. They are then either proved or disproved. That is why during a court trial they are separated into "accepted facts" and "disputed facts".

Op should change topic to:
Top 8 Common Car Myths That Are Actually Not True
Nope. Facts are either true or untrue, so the topic sentence is logically correct. But you do have a point - for the purpose of common usage, "myth" works better in contexts like this. But it would be tautological to say: "Top 8 Common Car Myths That Are Actually Not True"

Nigerianization:
I'll pray for you on the following conditions. Pledge never to do any of the following if you return alive
Collect bribes
Illegal roadblocks
Mistreating inmates
Extortion
Illegal detention and framing innocent citizens
Sounds reasonable. I'll tell him. But pray for him first since he's not back yet.

You shouldn't assume every policeman is crooked, though.
Politics › A Call From A Policeman "Training" At Buni Yadi by JuanDeDios(op):
"On the 28th of November they brought a vehicle and told us we were going to Kaduna for training. But when we got to Kaduna we were put on another vehicle and told we’re going to Yobe State. We got Buni Yadi and started the “training”.

"The food we’re given can’t fill a small child – that’s the portion we get three times a day. We’re sleeping outside in the Buni Yadi harmattan cold. Some people have died from the harsh conditions, and others have broken arms, legs or backbones in "training". The state of things here is so bad I can't describe it. You have to be here to believe it.

"Some have run away and we heard they’ve been dismissed. I’m surprised to see some of them returning. If I had anything saved I would have left here too. We’re seeing some vehicles now. They’ve told us nothing but the grave vine says we’re about to be deployed to fight Boko Haram. I wonder what we’ve got to fight Boko Haram when they’ve defied the Army. Pray for me."

Hmmm this story does not follow at all. Any Armed robber shooting at a moving car will target the driver. How comes the driver was only injured. If you see the bullet on the windscreen, the three bullets penetration are on the passenger side and none on the driver side
Even if the robbers were on the passenger side of the road, they'd quickly cross to the driver side before commencing shooting, right?

Christianity Etc › Re: What Was Jesus Writing With His Finger On The Ground? by JuanDeDios: 7:15pm On Dec 20, 2018
jesusjnr:
And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,
They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
John 8:3-6KJV

Now I'm honestly curious to find out what Jesus was actually writing on the floor, for despite being a true disciple of His, He has not yet given me the revelation of that.

So I could only assume things for now as that He was receiving inspiration from heaven concerning what to respond to the question of those Pharisees and scribes who came to Him with that woman they claimed was caught in the act of adultery by herself, and hence was putting it down on the floor.

For when He finally responded, there was no gainsaying or resisting of His response, as it was said:

And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. John 8:9 KJV

But then He was said to have stoop down and wrote again after responding to their question:

And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. John 8:8 KJV

Or maybe He wasn't thru yet as the woman said to be caught in adultery was still there with Him?

Or could it be that He was plotting His next onslaught on the devil's works?

The reason I'm very curious about this is because if Jesus stoops down and writes something on the floor, it's going to be very important and significant.

So just in case there's any genuine person out there who has been given revelation of what Jesus was writing there, please just help a brother here out of His curiosity!

Thank you in advance!
One babalawo has already explained this. What Jesus was writing wasn't meant for you. He was simply communicating with Ifa (like you see some Ifa priests write on the ground). He was communing with Ifa who told him earlier to tell the crowd that he who had no sin should cast the first stone. That's what the babalawo said o!

So they couldn't control two tiny drones, they had to shut down airport activities for over 12 hours, who is the idiot here?
Remember what they say about a fly perched on a sensitive part of your body? What would they have done - assuming it's a situation that hadn't previously occured and was so unprepared for? Command them drones to disappear? Won't work. Summon the airforce to shoot them down? That would risk creating incidents of its own!

There are powers that desire to keep power. Protesting is never a good strategy to gain power. And if your desire is to have power then certainly you don't understand the game. It's the same everywhere no exception. Power over self v.s power over others? Which one brings true freedom?
I don't know. I guess it depends on what "freedom" means to you. But I'd prefer power over self. If I can master myself, I can probably change the world.

Nations everywhere abuse citizens the only question is what are they abusing them for? This is because governments possess awesome power over the people. Does Boko Haram have right wage war against the people because they disagree with Nigerian government? Must not the killing of innocents stop? How does it stop without military force?
Sure, all nations abuse their citizens - Ghana, the UK, Mali, etc, all stand accused of abusing their citizens. Their armies regularly shoot unarmed civilians for blocking the road or holding religious processions. And AI has been taking the army to task for firing on Boko Haram, right? You have a great understanding of the issues you're tackling.
