So we’re thinking of getting a Passat. Don’t know much about cars – we just like the shape of the Passat. smiley

Is it a good car to buy in Nigeria given the usual considerations –

- Durability/ruggedity
- Ability to stand our roads
- Availability of parts
- Local mechanics/ servicing expertise
- Fuel economics

She's made a very one kind statement. Stuff like this on a public platform! She didn't clarify it well at all
.. In fact nothing to clear. That kind of thought shouldn't have made it out of her mouth! Now people will be looking at the husband somehow, it could be a storm she created by mistake in her home now!

I trust him but don't trust him... A child should have utmost sense of safety from parents if that is absent what remains. I just hope she and her husband have an understanding on this matter, so things don't go south.

Between! What's the aim of this post? Destroy their home?
Same thing I'm wondering. The way this CityNGR fellow is taking the matter, I suspect he has a personal beef with the lady.

Were Ibori, his wives and his lawyers not convicted under the same common law in the UK? The common law is not the problem. Our court system has issues, like everything else in Nigeria, but in this particular case the problem is not the court since the case is progressing well. The problem is you who wants suspects fed to dogs rather than tried.
Travel › Re: Lagos-Ibadan Railway: 2018 No Longer Feasible, Fixes New Date For Completion by JuanDeDios: 10:35am On Dec 06, 2018
AutoReportNG:
Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, the minister of transportation, has directed the Chinese Civil Engineering Company (CCECC), the contractors handling the Lagos-Ibadan railway, to ensure that the train becomes operational before February 2019.

Amaechi said this on Tuesday during the monthly inspection of the Lagos-Ibadan rail project in Papalanto, Ogun state.

He said the contractors must ensure that the tracks and bridges were completed and the train must make transport sense.

“There must be train on the tracks before February. It doesn’t matter when, but there must be a train on the track that makes transport sense,” the minister said.

“What I mean by transport sense is that it must be able to carry passengers from Abeokuta if not up-to Ibadan, we have agreed that everybody must work towards it.

“The next inspection is on Dec. 18 and that is two weeks from now.

“Before we used to have it once in a month but now it will be twice in a month to ensure that, that is achieved.

“So, we will be back here to ensure that what we have agreed to today will be implemented. The work is progressing rapidly, the weather is no longer an issue, the elements were an issue before but now it is no longer an issue.

“You should know that on the 18th, we would have started campaign, the president has emphasised that we must build infrastructure.”

He said out of 10 bridges, only two was uncompleted, adding that before the next inspection on December 18, one must be completed.

Amaechi said his role as director-general of President Muhammadu Buhari’s campaign won’t affect his work.

He said the president was determined to build infrastructure, stating that the monthly inspection would take place every two weeks to ensure progress on the project.

Thank you. Now take your broke ass and get lost. The moderator who put this garbage on the front page when there are other more important threads that should be making it there is equally a dunderhead. It is ok to put up such a stupid thread on the front page, but if a post attacking Islam or a muslim cleric comes up, it will never make it to the front page.

What sort of nonsense is this?
I disagree with your post but the manner matters that concern Islam are handled on this forum is shameful. How can they put a Moslem topic on the front page so everyone can read it and the proceed to stop everyone from commenting on it? Strange.

People believed it works long before Nollywood. People are doing it, not because of Nollywood, but because they know someone who they believe became rich from it. Nollywood is making movies about it because people - including Nollywood people - believe it works. I don't know if money ritual works or not but I know as hell there are things out there I don't know about.

Who'll help me tell this Niggas these things only exist in their heads?

Da phuck dude, you can't make money by taking peep's panties, eating their poop, and all what.

If you made it after doing those, then you were intrinsically driven. It had always been inside of you. You always had it inside of you. You just couldn't figure it out. A jujuman just showed you what you already had.

If it were so easy, why isn't er'one rich yet?

I tend to always agree with the English man who said Blacks are a waste of Oxygen.
When did the Englishman say the bolded? Anyway, your dismissive intellectualism is adorable but is it based on knowledge? Do you know for a fact that some paranormal secrets the rest of don't know about aren't out there? People have been doing money rituals since 18-something. If they aren't making money from it, why has it continued for so long? Does a simplistic explanation like "you always had it inside of you..." really cut it? Personally, I simply don't know and I remain open-minded on the issue.

I maintain...if it were YOUR daughter, would you bolt her outside? I have no intention to judge her. I only want to create awareness to the fact that so many of our women mistreat people in their care. What if they had raped her outside? What if they had gouged out her organs for ritualistic purposes? Would she have remained silent inside while the girl was locked outside IF SHE WAS HER DAUGHTER?
You're being emotional. She did not abandon the poor girl outside - she called for help immediately. You're right about how women commonly maltreat kids that aren't theirs but this is not an example of that. If it was my daughter and I had other kids inside the house to think of? Well, it wasn't, so I don't know what I would have done - my heart would open the door, while my head would bolt it. But if you're thinking that letting the robbers in and increasing the number of people in danger from 1 to 3 or 4 is necessarily a wiser decision, that is your emotion speaking. If you have a trained person on the phone, say a policeman or a military man, he's advising to bolt that door to cut down the number of people in danger.

Skin colour is different from nationality. If you're born here you're a citizen and you're free to apply for a Nigerian passport. That is why you have people who are black and called Adebolajo who are English and British or American. The Bouloses are a wealthy family of businessmen here in Lagos. I believe they came from Lebanon.

While you have a point, I don't think it's fair to blame her at all. Maybe she had other kids inside the house she had to think of while calling for help to save the one outside. In the show The Good Doctor a mother had to let the doctors kill one twin when it was the only way to save the other and not lose both of them. Life can be complicated like that.

What if they re suicide car bombers,? Cos it doesn't ring alarm before a terror group strikes.

Although the soldiers might have overreacted but hell yeah those niggas got served right for what they did.
There is no law against driving close to a military vehicle or even convoy. If you suspect they might be dangerous, you order them to stop and you search them and let them go. What is wrong with Nigerians?
